Abstract: Seed cum Fertilizer Drill is used for sowing different crops such as wheat, barley, maize, peas, black grams, pulses etc. in prepared (tilled) fields with fertilizer. The Automatic Seed Cum Fertilizer Drill is especially suitable for sowing seed of wheat, groundnut, soya bean, bengal gram etc. special design for Easy three point mounting. For this we can use Simple scooter as main drive. And we maintained the seeding sowing distance. It is suitable for sowing directly after paddy harvest without prior seed preparation. The cost of this system is little higher than the conventional scooter, but subsidy from the government can make it cheaper, father commercial production will reduce cost further
FIELD OF INVENTION
In India adoption of modern technologies is not easy for small farmers that greatly increased crop production and cropping intensities in regions with less favorable soil and climatic conditions. Thus development of such fertilizer drills is needed to grow two or more crops per year rather than only one in short time and less input in areas of semi tropics.
In this project, used two wheeler engine is mounted on designed frame. The reason of making this project is having light weight, economical and ease of operating. The developed power from engine is transmitted to rear wheel that makes the complete machine in motion. This movement makes the tillage and seed planting through rotating sprocket wheel by using chain drive.
After the analysis of different fertilizing drills we prepared a design for the seed planting as shown in drawing. After close examination of various designs we distinguished our design on following prospects-
1. Cost & ease of operation
2. Power & capacity of planting
Each of these prospects is graded according to the data from the various survey, their needs & importance in the seed planting. Accordingly, the adopted concept was marked out with better remarks.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Advancement of techniques in agriculture field by using Seed Cum fertilizer Drill as compare to other methods like hand sowing and seed drill.
Comparison with Hand sowing method
By using Hand sowing method, we sowing handfuls of seed over ploughed ground. Usually, a drag is employed to sow the seed into the ploughed ground. Though for any areas, this method is still used in fanning. This method consumes lot of time in sowing process. Practice is required to sow evenly and at the desired rate. A hand seeder can be used for sowing, though it is less of a help than it is for the smaller seeds of grasses and legumes but requires more time. Its worst disadvantage is slow sowing speed.
Comparison with heavy machinery method
As compared sawing with tractor, a seed drill, which offers greater accuracy; seed is sown on field at desired rate. The drill placed the seed at a definite distance into the soil, so that less seed is wasted. A fluted feed metering system is used to control quantity" of seeds. Rows are at some definite distance about 10-30 cm apart, the distance depend on the type of crop and growing conditions, which can be taken care with our system easily.
SUMMERY
The Seed cum Fertilizer Drill is used for simultaneous activities of seed sowing and fertilization through a single-operated machine. Seeds and fertilizer are concurrently drilled, but at different depths. Appropriate seed drill distance can also be maintained. This helps improve germination.
Suitable for sowing seeds of groundnut, maize, wheat, Bengal gram, soya
bean, etc.
Containers for seeds and fertilizer are properly segregated
Multi-purpose seed sowing machine
Suitable for sowing seeds of multiple crops at a time
It does require seed preparation
More cost effective as it saves time & labor cost The versatile Seed cum Fertilizer Drill is an ideal choice to reduce cost and achieve better yield crops.
A traditional method of seed sowing has many disadvantages. This project is methods of seed sowing and fertilizer placement in the soil and developing multifunctional seed sowing machine which can perform simultaneous operations.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERED EMBODIMENT
In figl, the Engine 700-7which is mounted on frame 100-2 has driving wheel 700-3 through gear transmission during all time of running the equipment. The purpose is to drive all the required devices of the seed planting drill. 100-8 sprocket wheel rotates with movement of the equipment at same speed to driving wheel. 100-10 seed flow regulating wheel mounted on the same shaft to regulate the flow of seeds in seed & fertilizer box-100-5, which are attached with chain drive-100-9. As the vehicle moves forward seeds start to flow through seed tubes-100-6. 100-7 Furrow opener plough the sand and making passages such that seed can enter the sand. The depth of seed planting can be controlled by a lever-100-4, mounted on frame in right side of drive of the machine.
What is claimed as:
