Abstract: Valve assemblies are described having a valve positioner, a ball valve assembly configured to be actuated by the valve positioner between an open state and a closed state, an indicator configured to provide visual indication of the state of the ball valve assembly, and a positioning pin configured between the valve positioner and the ball valve assembly, the positioning pin arranged to prevent installation of the valve positioner to the ball valve assembly in all but one orientation and to ensure installation in only one orientation.
