Sensor Based Water Logging Alert System

Abstract: ABSTRACT SENSOR BASED WATER LOGGING ALERT SYSTEM A commuter's life is disrupted by water logging in important city locations. Knowing when there will be water logging is crucial so that commuters can choose an alternate route. We therefore need a sensor-based water logging alarm system that will also show commuters the alternative path. The alternate route will also be displayed for commuters, along with the location of the city's waterlogged area. In this invention system will be a sensor-based water logging alarm system that will warn commuters of waterlogging as they travel to their destination and, if waterlogging is severe, advise them to choose an alternative route. This will benefit the city's traffic management as well.

Specification

Description:Title of The Invention
Sensor based water logging alert system
Field of the Invention
This invention relates to sensor based water logging alert system.
Background of the Invention
CN103323073A: The invention discloses a road waterlogging water level monitoring and warning system. The road waterlogging water level monitoring and warning system comprises water level sensors arranged in every monitoring point, an acquisition controller which is connected with every water level sensor in an interactive mode, and short-distance display screens which are connected the water level sensors; the acquisition controller is connected with communication equipment in an interactive mode, and the communication equipment is connected with long-distance display screens and a monitor in an interactive mode. The road waterlogging water level monitoring and warning system does not need to be managed by a specially-assigned person and transmits and displays detected data through a wireless transmission mode, wherein the short-distance LED display screens are arranged in stations needing monitoring to achieve an current warning effect; the long-distance LED display screens are arranged at the position of the entrances of the monitoring stations to warn people to make a detour in advance or to guarantee no entry.
CN113110200A: The invention discloses an urban waterlogging early warning system based on a weather and rainfall flood model, which comprises the following components: the system comprises an internet of things data acquisition end, a data processing system, a data processing cloud platform module, a meteorological data storage and analysis system, an early warning release module and a decision scheduling module. The invention can realize real-time early warning and monitoring of rain conditions, water conditions, working conditions and disaster conditions, and real-time interaction of the working conditions of flood prevention business; the remote monitoring of the operation of the pump gate station improves the emergency capacity of a city management department for coping with crisis events such as pipeline breakage, rain flood, waterlogging and the like by providing decision support of management work such as monitoring early warning, flood prevention scheduling, post-disaster reconstruction and the like, and ensures the stable operation of a drainage system.
US5726951A: A standoff compensation system is disclosed for use in an acoustic LWD system. An acoustic transducer is provided to measure the standoff distance between the logging tool and the borehole wall. The present invention includes a downhole processor for determining an index value which is used to align received acoustic formation signal measurements based upon the measured standoff distance. The index value can either be calculated by the downhole processor or can be retrieved from a pre-calculated look-up table in ROM. The processor then shifts the received acoustic formation signals based upon the index value assigned to each formation signal. The aligned acoustic formation signals are stacked, so that a single acoustic formation signal can be obtained for each firing period and either stored in downhole memory, used immediately, or transmitted by telemetry to the surface. The firing of the acoustic formation transmitters occurs in a rapid firing mode, followed by a relatively long idle. The rapid firing mode further minimizes the amount of data which must be stored, while providing an idle period for aligning and stacking the received signals.
None of the prior art indicates above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed. The present invention is sensor-based water logging alert system comprises of microcontrollers, GPS, depth sensors, battery and wi-fi module for communication this system will alert people in advance so that they can take alternate route.
