Abstract: The present invention relates to a separator for a lithium secondary battery and, in particular, is provided with a porous coating layer comprising small-diameter inorganic particles, large-diameter inorganic particles, and adhesive polymer particles, wherein the porosity of the porous coating layer is a predetermined numerical value. Accordingly, a separator having improved heat resistance, reduced resistance, and improved adhesion to an electrode can be produced.
