Sewage Cleaning / Blockage Removal Machine

Abstract: The management of sewage lines has become a critical concern in modern urban environments due to its significant infrastructure development which impacts on public health and overflow issues. This invention aims to develop a sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine with hazardous gases monitoring kit to avoid life losses of sewers. The invention integrates various mechanical components such as helical screw / square thread conveyor, chain drive, replaceable tip (like radial drill bit end) and a 58CC two stroke petrol engine to develop the sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-1 and Variant-2). Additionally, this machine consists of a real-time hazardous sewage gas monitoring kit with sensors (MQ-135 & MQ-4) which helps to know the threats by an alarming / lighting system. The proposed machine is able to remove 1500-liters of sewage or septic tank wastage and it can be moved to other locations manually or by hooking with other vehicles. Overall, this invention involves a sewage cleaning / blockage removal process which is a holistic and forward-thinking approach for the sewage management. 5 Claims & 2 Figures

The present invention pertains to cleaning and removal of sewage blockages using an effective machine which is necessary in the management of sewage lines in modern urban environments to overcome the impacts on public health and overflow issues during heavy rain.
Background of the Invention
The management of sewage lines has become a critical concern in modern urban environments due to its significant infrastructure development, which impacts public health and overflow issues. Persons from certain communities’ clean sewage lines and septic tanks in urban environments without knowing the hazardous gases involved which cause life threats to them. In certain cases of sewage cleaning, a compressed air source machine is usually used along with a drain pump. But this technique has the disadvantage of blockage removal difficulty. In other cases, machines like sink machines, drum machines, and water jetting machines have been employed over the years to overcome such blockage removal issues in sewage lines and drains. But those machines are not suitable for cleaning or sucking up sewage waste, drainage waste, and septic tank waste at larger quantity in lesser time. The proposed invention, the sewage cleaning/blockage removal machine, helps in cleaning and removing of blockage from sewage lines effectively without much human intervention at larger scale and lesser time consumption.
Cleaning of sewage fluid by various machines are known in the prior art. For instance, US4420852 discloses an improvement in drain cleaning machines and it consists of removable drum with a coiled spring snake. The coiled spring snake is inserted in a flexible tube for cleaning and carrying the water to the free end. Such a machine is useful in clearing the blockage in narrow pipe and small sewage pipe. The multiple use drain cleaning apparatus with a payout drum supporting snake hose was disclosed in US4700422. This apparatus consists of high pressure fluid jetting and/or cutting modes for wide range of drain pipes and passage access. This apparatus has the disadvantage like forces the blockage to another place and cause damages in the pipe lines. The similar apparatus with cable feed control was noted in the prior art. US6343398B1 for the drain cleaning purpose. This apparatus has a good control over the movement of the coiled snake but useful for the blockage removal only.
In another instance, US11603654B2 discloses drain cleaning device with a sensor-controller operable motor cable system. It has sensors to control the feed and speed of rotation of coiled snake according to the heaviness of the blockage. US10704250B2 discloses a sewer cleaning machine which is operated by a motor for the purpose of cleaning without any collecting tank and hazardous gas detecting unit. In all the considered instances, the machines are capable of cleaning the sewage line and drains or blockage removal in smaller scale or in sewage pipe or in drain pipe with human intervention.
Accordingly, there is an urgent need and demand for a sewage cleaning and blockage removal machine to clean and remove sewage blockages in sewage pipe and septic tanks using an effective machine. The invention is necessary in the management of sewage lines in modern urban environments and to avoid life losses of sewers due to presence of hazardous gases. The present invention overcome the problems observed in the prior art and discloses herein the operation of sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-1 and Variant-2) devoid of the above mentioned drawbacks by using an effective screw conveying system with replaceable tip and by a hazardous gas monitoring kit.
Summary of the Invention
In light of the above mentioned drawbacks in the prior art, the present invention aims to clean and remove blockage in sewage line effectively using a machine.
The specific objective of the invention is to design a machine which can able to clean and remove blockage from sewage line using helical screw / square thread conveying system with replaceable tip.
A further specific objective of the invention is to clean and remove the sewage in lesser time and to avoid the life losses of sewer by using a hazardous gas monitoring kit.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The embodiments of the present disclosure provide a sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine with hazardous gases monitoring kit to avoid life losses of sewers. The proposed invention integrates various mechanical components such as helical screw / square thread conveyor, replaceable tip (like radial drill bit end), chain drive, and 58cc two stroke petrol engine Additionally, the proposed machine includes a real-time hazardous sewage gas monitoring kit with sensors which helps to know the life threats like hazardous gases present in the sewage line or septic tanks by an alarming / lighting system.
With reference to the figure 1, the ‘sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-1)’ is provided in accordance to an embodiment of the present disclosure. A helical screw conveyer (8) is provided inside a tightly sealed flexible metallic hose (6) for sucking and cleaning the sewage from sewage line. A replaceable tip (similar to radial drill bit end) (9) is attached at the end of the screw conveyor to break or crush the obstacles and blockages inside the sewage line. This replaceable tip can be attached or detached according the requirement of the blockage removal process and whenever the tip is worn out or lost its cutting action. A 58CC two stroke petrol engine (4) is used to operate the helical screw conveying system. The rotary motion from the engine shaft is transmitted to the helical screw conveying system by using a chain drive (5) to achieve the needed torque at the end of the cleaning / blockage removal tip. The input speed of the engine is 3000 rpm and the speed at the tip is about 120 rpm. Since two stoke petrol engine is used for rotating the screw conveyor and replaceable tip, the rotation can be reversed so as to effectively remove the blockages present inside the sewage line.
The sewage waste sucked from the sewage line (10) by helical screw conveyor is conveyed to a collecting tank (2) having 1500-liter capacity, it can be mounted on a trolley or vehicle according to the need and necessity. A trolley handle (1) is provided at one end of the collecting tank for the purpose of connecting to a vehicle and for transporting the collected sewage waste. The sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-1) is most suitable as in the case cleaning the sewage fluid from the sewage line (10) in lesser time effectively through the helical screw conveyor.
In accordance to an embodiment of the disclosure, the sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-2) comprises of square thread conveyor (8) is shown in figure 2. The Variant-2 uses square thread conveyor (8) inside a tightly sealed flexible metallic hose (6) for sucking and cleaning the sewage from sewage line with greater efficiency as compared to Variant-1. Also the Variant-2 avoids the backward flow of sewage fluid and solid particles to sewage line or septic tank. A replaceable tip (similar to radial drill bit end) (9) is attached at the end of the screw conveyor to break or crush the obstacles and blockages inside the sewage line. This replaceable tip can be attached or detached according the requirement of the blockage removal process and whenever the tip is worn out or lost its cutting action. A hazardous gas monitoring kit (3) with alarming / lighting facility is introduced in Variant-1 as well as in Variant-2 of the sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine for helping the sewer to know about the presence of hazardous gases in the sewage line / septic tank and safeguarding their life. This hazardous monitoring kit consists of sensors like MQ-135 and MQ-4 (7) attached at the bottom end of the flexible metallic hose (6) to predict the hazardous gases like Ammonia, Hydrogen sulphide, Carbon monoxide, Methane and Carbon di-oxide present in the sewage line / septic tank. An alarming facility make the alarm sound whenever hazardous gases are detected in sewage line or septic tank. Also a lighting facility indicate the presence of piousness gases by glowing red light. Once any hazardous gases are detected and indicated, then the operator of the machine can switch of the machine and can move away from the hazardous place for a certain period. The operator or sewer may carry out his operation, once the monitoring kit shows green light or no alarming sound.
The sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-1 and Variant-2) is able to remove 1500-litres of sewage line or septic tank wastage as well as blockage by using the replaceable tip efficiently without any backflow of sewage or solid particles to the sewage line or septic tank. This sewage cleaning / blockage machine can be moved to other locations by pulling the trolley manually or by hooking with other vehicles for draining the collected sewage waste to the appropriate place.

The proposed sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine of the present invention discloses its usage in terms of a pumping system in road tunnels, drainage overflows and agricultural fields during floods or during heavy rain in urban cities and towns. The same machine may be used as a simple pumping system to lift water from lower levels and even to fill the water tankers. , Claims:The scope of the invention is defined by the following claims:

Claim:
1. A sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine comprising:
a) A helical / Square screw conveying system (8) with replaceable tip (9) enclosed on a flexible metallic hose (6), operated by a 58CC two stroke petrol engine (4) through a chain drive (5).
b) A sewage hazardous gas monitoring kit (3) with alarm / lighting is mounted above the 1500-liter capacity collecting tank (2) top surface.
c) A Sensors MQ-135 and MQ-4 (7) are attached at the bottom end of flexible metallic hose (6).
d) A trolley hook (1) attached with collecting tank (2) is used to mount the machine all the components.
2. As mentioned in claim 1, a sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-1) comprising of helical type screw conveyor with replaceable tip operated by 58cc IC Engine and sewage hazardous monitoring kit is useful for the cleaning / blockage removal in sewage line.
3. According to claim 1, a sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-2) comprising of square thread type screw conveyor with replaceable tip operated by 58cc IC Engine and sewage hazardous monitoring kit is useful for the cleaning / blockage removal in sewage line.
4. As per claim 1, a helical / square thread screw conveyor (8) with replaceable tip (9) rotating at a speed of 120 rpm (in both direction) is used to clean and remove the blockage from sewage line. A sewage hazardous gases monitoring kit (3) with sensors (MQ-135 & MQ-4) and alarming system is used to monitor the presence of hazardous gases like hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methane and Carbon dioxide during the operation for avoiding the life losses.
5. As mentioned in claim 1, sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-1) with helical screw conveyor is mounted on a 1500-liter collecting tank (2) which is used to store the effectively sucked sewage waste fluid. The sewage cleaning / blockage removal machine (Variant-2) with square thread screw conveyor is mounted on a 1500-liter collecting tank (2). It is useful to remove the blockage and collect the sewage efficiently without any backflow as compared to Variant-1.
