Shaft Bearing Subassembly For A Wind Turbine Transmission
Abstract: A shaft bearing subassembly (10) comprises at least one shaft (11) that is mounted by means of at least two antifriction bearings (13 14). The antifriction bearings (13 14) are mounted on the at least one shaft (11) in such a way that there is a space therebetween in the axial direction. One antifriction bearing (13) is axially fastened while the other antifriction bearing (14) is secured by means of a locking mechanism (16). The locking mechanism (16) is located on the side of the antifriction bearing (14) that is furthest away from the other antifriction bearing (13) and has a first contact surface (17) which restricts the movement of an inner race (18) of the antifriction bearing (14) in at least one direction and a second contact surface (19) that touches an abutment (20) on the shaft (11).
