1. A shock absorber including one or more mounting provisions for fool
proof assembly in a two-wheeled vehicle, said shock absorber including
eyelets (1,7), a spring (2), a single damper tube(3), bushes (4, 6), a damper
(5), mounting brackets (8, 9), screws(13, 14), wherein
the single damper tube (3) includes damping fluid inside and a damping valve system;
the two eyelets (1) and (7) enable mounting of the shock absorber on the vehicle;
the spring (2) is placed over the damper tube (3) and connected to the eyelets (1) and (7);
the top eyelet (1) of the shock absorber is mounted to the frame mounting bracket;
the bottom eyelet (7) is mounted in a swing arm mounting bracket;
the damper tube (3) is mounted downside, and the piston end is mounted upside; and
the spring (2) is mounted co-axially with the damper (5) and the damper tube (3).
2. The shock absorber of claim 1, wherein a small projection feature disposed on the damper (5) body very close to end mounting act as hindrance for a shock absorber end bush from misaligning with the bracket in vehicle.
3. The shock absorber of claim 1, wherein a protruding feature on a mating bracket on the vehicle, on the top side, is connected to a frame and the bottom side to a swing-arm of the vehicle.

The shock absorber of claim 1, wherein different colors of top (1) and (7) end mounting eyelet of the shock absorber applies as a visual indication, the color of the respective bracket mounting at top and end in the vehicle will be same and ensures correct orientation while assembling the shock absorber in the vehicle.
5. The shock absorber of claim 1, wherein different length of top (1) and (7) end mounting eyelet of the shock absorber.
6. The shock absorber of claim 1, wherein the projection feature on the damper tube (3) aids when the end mounting of the shock absorber on the vehicle is bracket type and for a bracket type end mounting of the shock absorber the projection feature can be provided on the bracket itself.
7. The shock absorber of claim 1, the protruding feature for a stud type top and bottom side mounting is provided on the nearby mating part of the vehicle which adequately obstructs wrong assembly of the shock absorber.
8. The shock absorber of claim 1, the difference in width of the top (1) and bottom (7) eyelet of end mounting will result in fouling of the shock absorber body with the mating bracket in the case of wrong assembly of shock absorber in the vehicle.
9. The shock absorber of claim 1, same length of the top and end mounting eyelet will have the same length of the mating brackets as that of the respective end mounting eyelet of the shock absorber to enable assembly.
