Specification

DESC:One embodiment of the present invention comprising of Bi-directional order picking trolley 100 as shown in the Figure1. The Bi-directional order picking trolley 100 is comprised of a tubular chassis 1, with first and second tote frame assembly 2A,2B secured to the said tubular chassis 1. The first handle bar assembly 3A and second handle bar assembly 3B are secured in position at the front and rear portion of the tubular chassis 1. Wheel & electric motor assembly 4A is connected to the handle bar assembly 3A through the fork assembly 200A. Similarly, Wheel and electric motor Assembly 4B is connected to the handle bar assembly 3B through the fork assembly 200B. The wheel assembly 4A along with brake disk assembly 5A assembled to the fork 10A forms the fork assembly 200A, similarly the wheel assembly 4B, brake disk assembly 5B and the fork 10B forms the fork assembly 200B. The first bare code scanner 7A, emergency switch 9A are mounted on to handle bar assembly 201A and the second barcode scanner 7, emergency switch 9B and the picker display unit 12 are mounted on to handle bar assembly 201B. The link rod 11 connects the front and rear fork assemblies 200A, 200B forming the steering mechanism.
In another embodiment of the present invention as show in the figure 2, the operator 203 is standing on operator platform 204, in the direction of trolley movement with multiple totes 202 mounted on to the Bi-directional Order picking trolley 100.
Further to illustrate the embodiment of the present invention Bi-direction the figure 3 shows the different operator 203 position while moving the trolley in forward and backward directions
The figure 4 illustrates an embodiment of steering mechanism where in the link rod 11 connects front fork assembly 200A to the back-fork assembly 200B to form a multi bar steering link mechanism.
In another embodiment as illustrated in the figure 5 the wheel assemblies 4A,4B along with caster wheels 8A, 8B forms a rhombus geometric configuration for better stability
In some embodiment as illustrated in the figure 6 the tote frame 2A, 2B are detachable from the tubular frame 1. In another embodiment as illustrated in the figure 7 the tote frames 2A ,2B are foldable.
The figure 8 illustrates an embodiment of wheel height adjustment mechanism comprising of a stopper pint X a cam Y connected to wheel assembly 3A, 3B which enable height adjustment for better stability of the trolley

In view of the wide verity of embodiments to which the principles of the invention can be applied, it should be appreciated that the detailed embodiments are illustrative only and should not be taken as limiting the scope of the invention and should be determined only by a fair reading of the claims
