Abstract: SINGLE DOOR TOP OPENING CAR is very convenient for congested places where the parking and moving is difficult. It gives relief from dense traffic and it is a space friendly car for two seat four wheeler, fuel efficient due to aerodyne design and light weight since the chassy and frame is fabricated from hallow circular mild steel tube. The single door eliminates the side doors which are usually require extra and sufficient space for opening. The door or body of the car can be detachable or replaceable easily in case of repair and maintenance. The prime mover is an optional in this car but the main objective and invention is the single door on top.

The invention is related to the field of automobile engineering and industries to bring out the improvement concern to the comfortable movement and economical journey on road.
World is becoming congested due to increase of population of human beings and their transport mediums called vehicles that too especially cars and motorcycles. As we all facing the problems of parking space, movement on roads there is a need of vehicle which eliminates the above said problems.
Since the beginning of automobile technology to till date all cars are coming with side doors which requires additional space for opening the doors apart from the parking space of the vehicle. To over come this problem the present invention has come to existence.
The SINGLE DOOR TOP OPENING CAR is comprising the main door which can be opened on top of the car towards its rear side from the front. The door has windows either side sliding type up word. See through windows provides air too. Structure of the door is fabricated with mild steel sheets of 22 gauge and painted after proper process. Wind shield is a transparent poly carbonate material fixed by rubber beading to the metallic frame. Door can be opened and closed manually and a safety lock is also provided in the front.
The car is having as usually four wheels with shock absorbers on each. Entire body is fabricated by mild steel sheet of 22 gauge and mounted to the hallow tubular closed frame 50mm outer dia and 1.5mm of wall thickness which provides overall safety to the vehicle, the seating capacity is for two only with lot of leg space and the seats can be adjusted according to comfort.
The engine or prime mover is an optional one where fuel engine or battery motor can be adopted. The door (2) shown in the drawing completely opens top ward. The wind shield (7) provides sufficient view either side. The window (8) is provided for air and side glance. The back side dicky (3) can be opened and closed made of poly carbonate sheet. The engine banet (4) is a metallic body with semi circular shape. The tail lights (5) are two in numbers for left and right turning, braking, and parking indications. The head lights(6)are in two numbers for high and low beam, left and right turning and parking indications.
The overall frame(Ol) is carrying all the load coming on the car. It is metallic fabricated body. The overall size of the car is 4 ft wide x 4ft height and 8 ft long and total weight is 150 kgs. As we have tested the mileage is 35 km per litre of petrol.
The main objective of the car is to overcome the problems of parking and moving of the vehicles in congested city with thick vehicles and to eliminate the side doors in future.
CLAIM-01
I claim the single door top opening car comprising the single door on top. opens manually towards backside . As overall size and weight of the car is less compare to the conventional cars in the market it is convenient for any body to have it in possession at present congested world. The car has different parts like chassy with single tubular frame. and back side dicky for small articals and the underneath the banet is provided for engine.
The invention is new to the auto industry in india so far and convenient for parking and moving vehicles like small cars the door is removable from the chassy by loosening two bolts either side.
CLAIM-02
The single door top opening car claimed in claim 01 is that the door has an unique design which opens from the floor level itself and does not disturb the driver while getting in and out of the vehicle. Semicircular shape in front and top of the door is aerodynamic effective while moving and since the door does not have the air resistance it is obviously fuel efficient
