BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] Many current skin care products such as lotions and cosmetics are water-based. Such products are normally formulated with anti-bacterial components or preservatives to prevent the formation of bacteria which could cause infection on the skin. While the anti-bacterial components are necessary to prevent bacterial contamination, they may cause chemical irritation to the skin. It would therefore be advantageous to provide a non-water-based skin care composition which has an excellent moisturizing ability with no requirement for water or anti-bacterial components.
[0003] Further, with the rise in new cases of skin cancer and premature aging of the skin, which are attributed in part to excessive exposure to the sun's damaging rays, it would be highly desirable to provide moisturizing skin care formulations containing sunscreen active agents.
[0004] US7160560B2 discloses a skin-care composition containing a protective component providing protection of the skin from environmental damage and regulating natural moisture of the skin; a skin firming component; and a barrier component. Thus, the composition includes at least one component that supports the collagen structure, and at least one component that supports the body's own defense/repair mechanisms, and most preferably, at least one component that supports the skin lipid system.
[0005] Conventionally, many platform have been mentioned in the prior arts, that is capable of providing consultation to a user regarding their skin, but still none of the existing platforms are capable of determining type of user’s skin, in order to provide a skin care routine accordingly, or delivering products based upon the determined type of user’s skin, or providing the user home remedies for skin care.
[0006] In order to overcome the aforementioned drawbacks, there is a requirement to develop a platform that is capable of determining type of user’s skin, in order to provide a skin care routine accordingly, or delivering products based upon the determined type of user’s skin, or providing the user home remedies for skin care.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] The following description includes the preferred best mode of one embodiment of the present invention. It will be clear from this description of the invention that the invention is not limited to these illustrated embodiments but that the invention also includes a variety of modifications and embodiments thereto. Therefore, the present description should be seen as illustrative and not limiting. While the invention is susceptible to various modifications and alternative constructions, it should be understood, that there is no intention to limit the invention to the specific form disclosed, but, on the contrary, the invention is to cover all modifications, alternative constructions, and equivalents falling within the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the claims.
[0017] In any embodiment described herein, the open-ended terms "comprising," "comprises,” and the like (which are synonymous with "including," "having” and "characterized by") may be replaced by the respective partially closed phrases "consisting essentially of," consists essentially of," and the like or the respective closed phrases "consisting of," "consists of, the like.
[0018] As used herein, the singular forms “a,” “an,” and “the” designate both the singular and the plural, unless expressly stated to designate the singular only.
[0019] The present invention relates to a skincare platform capable of determining symptoms of a user skin and provide suggestion for maintaining the skin in an effective manner.
[0020] Referring to Figure 1, illustrates a block diagram of a skincare platform.
[0021] The present invention covers an application for skin care, which, through advanced technological implementations of AI, needs to personalize the skincare routine, recommended products, and home remedies based on individual data of users. The skincare application involves a user interface representative of the interaction manner between the user and the application. This intuitive interface is designed to acquire detailed information about the user's skin concerns and needs. This interface allows users to input data relating to skin type, skin issues such as acne or dryness, and personal skincare goals. The user can also update this information through the interface in order for the application to be able to fine-tune its suggestions with time.
[0022] At the heart of the application is a personalized recommendation module that takes the data gathered from skin to generate personalized skincare routines and product recommendations. This module will consider the input provided by the user and look for a match in a huge database comprising skincare products and treatments for recommending those best suited for addressing the user's unique skin conditions. These will range from daily routines to specialized treatments targeting specific issues. This is further improved by a module dynamically updating skincare routines should the user's skin condition change. For example, in the case of user reports on improvement or new concerns, the module changes the routine to maintain relevant skincare advice and effectiveness.
[0023] The deep skin type quiz within the application will serve as the backbone in correctly assessing and categorizing the user's skin characteristics. This quiz consists of a series of questions regarding oiliness, sensitivity, and elasticity for different skin types, along with questions about a person's lifestyle, including food intake, stress situations, and exposure to certain environmental conditions that would, in fact, affect one's skin. These results will be used for the final tuning of recommendations by the personalized recommendation module to perfectly match the particular skin type of the users.
[0024] An additional vital mechanism in the skincare application is the product comparison tool, which is designed to empower users to evaluate and compare the other skincare products. Users can browse products based on factors such as ingredients and effectiveness. While the tool isn’t providing personalized recommendations, users can still filter the products by skin concerns, such as acne, dryness, or sensitivity to make it easier to find what may be most useful to aid their skin condition.
[0025] The application has a module for home remedies for users who will prefer natural methods to improve their skin and provide their skincare instead of traditional commercial products. This module includes various recipes and specifics on how to build a skincare treatment from common ingredients found in the home. The home remedies found in the application are offered based on the user’s skin type and skin concerns as a substitute or complement for commercial products.
[0026] The home remedies module extends to incorporate local region options that take into account the user’s geographical location and natural products that are useful. This approach allows an effective but useful option without going out of the average user’s resource zone to provide effective skincare options. There is also a daily basis skincare routine option that is a part of the application, where there is guidance on how to apply and apply the products or suggested treatments. The routine would be based on the skin type and skin concern in order for the guidance to be highly relevant and even effective. The guidance included in the daily basis routine is also user friendly and does integrate into the users daily lifestyle easily.
[0027] In addition to providing users with necessary knowledge, and awareness to feel secure about their selection of skincare products, and treatments, the user interface is also configured to provide educational resources in the form of thorough and deep review of the ingredients, and skincare information. The users in this scenario would be able to learn about streaks of the ingredients for their products, to include benefits, and potential side effects, which relates to skin type. Part of this educational approach also provides an enhanced understanding of personal skincare routines, in order to overcome stigma and barriers that include buying commercial products.
[0028] This is in addition to an artificial intelligence engine in the application of the skincare where the artificial intelligence system learns from the interaction of the user and the skin reactions in the long run. The machine learning module that is inherent in the AI engine receives qualitative data such as user preference, product usage and the outcome of the recommended treatments and recalibrates the accuracy of the recommended treatments as provided by the personalized recommendation module. This development makes it possible to persistently match the application to the use and provide gradually improved and highly efficient skincare.
[0029] In conclusion, this skincare application can be regarded as a unique and integrated model of skincare, which may fit each individual’s needs. Thus, with the help of combining the user’s inputs and rapidly processing the data, using in-depth questionnaires, and dynamic updating, the application offers the user individual skincare routines, product recommendations, and home remedies treatment options. AI integration takes the recommendation to another level by the constant updating and customization to the user, making this application an indispensable tool for getting a better and glowing skin.
[0030] Although the field of the invention has been described herein with limited reference to specific embodiments, this description is not meant to be construed in a limiting sense. Various modifications of the disclosed embodiments, as well as alternate embodiments of the invention, will become apparent to persons skilled in the art upon reference to the description of the invention.
