Smart Atm Machine For Illiterate People

Abstract: We are going to develop project on "ATM using Thumb Impression & Voice Recognition". The conventional ATM is not suitable for Illiterate, Handicap person. So we are going to developed system using "Thumb Impression & Voice Recognition". Our project is based on voice recognition so it is much helpful for the handicap and illiterate people. This is the main goal of our project. The aim of voice recognition in ATM machine is to achieve secured transaction. The focus here is mainly for disabled people to perform transaction at ATM centre. The security measures are introduced to reduce cases of fraud and theft due to its methods used in identification of individuals. In this paper, we present a security based implementation of Hidden mark ova model algorithm (HMM) to calculate speech rate, frequency and modulation pitch detection algorithm (PDA) for pitch calculation of voiceprints and Accent Classification (AC) for the accent analysis in voice. The combination of these algorithms allows us to provide a much more secured voice recognition system in ATM machine Voice recognition is the ability of a machine or program to receive and interpret dictation, or to understand and carry out spoken commands. It is generally regarded as one of the convenient and safe recognition technique [1]. Due to the advancement in technology this system becomes more secured. Voice recognition system (VRS) is used in several applications by many people. The main application of VRS is used in secured door system, calling cards, military, mobile banking and medical transcription. The VRS functions not by pressing buttons or interacting with a computer screen, users must speak to the computer, and this means there will be a level of uncertainty associated with their input, as automatic speech recognition only returns probabilities

2. Field of invention
ATM is related to banking to withdrawal a cash the system will use to withdrawal a cash using thumb & voice recognition instead of ATM card & password ,this system will provide security.
3. Background of invention with regard to the drawback associated with known
art:
The illiterate person will don't know how to use ATM card & password so they take a help of literate people to withdrawal a cash but sometimes people will use their ATM card & password in miss way to avoid this we develop a system using thumb & voice recognition. This system will provide more security.
4. Statement of invention:
A new ATM system is designed to withdrawal a cash using thumb & voice recognition this system will provide more security to illiterate people & if another person tries to with draw cash it will shows fake person we can store the fingerprint template of this person for more security.
5. Summary of invention:
In this system First we will store the finger template & voice pattern of the system. When the person will enter in to the cabin they will put the finger on fingerprint module after matching the template the person name, account name, account balance will be displayed on LCD screen. If the template will not match then it will display a message he is fake person and the buzzer will on.
After template matching the system will says to put a voice to withdrawal a cash we can enter voice in the following format like 1=100, 2=200,3=300 etc after voice will matching it will be displayed on 7 segment display of voice module then this data will be transferred throw port of controller then account balance will be

reduce and the relay will be on to collect a cash as a indication if voce will not match then buzzer will be on and shows they will be fake person.
Suppose all the finger template & voice will not match and person want to withdrawal cash so we use right hand thumb as a master though which cash will withdrawal.
The System arrangement consists of:
1. Finger print module R305:
It will use to store the template of the person. The template will be used instead of ATM card to open the account it also save the fake person templates. It can store around 450 to 650 templates.
2,Voice module HM 2007:
The voice module will use to withdrawal a cash instead of password we can use
Voice, if any another voice will add then it will show error. The voice length
requires will be 1.92sec.it can store 20 voice patterns.
The speech recognition system is a completely assembled and easy to use
programmable speech recognition circuit. Programmable, in the sense that you
train the words (or vocal utterances) you want the circuit to recognize. It has 3volt
non volatile battery backup.
3.Microntroller:
We can use 89s51 microcontroller it can serially interfaced to the fingerprint and voice module. It will store the all the program requires for the system.
It will store account related information.
4. Buzzer:
If any person will put the thumb on finger print module or to enter the voice to withdrawal a cash and template or voice not match then buzzer will on and it will indicate this a fake person.
5.Relay:
After matching templates and voice the account balance will be reduce and relay will be on to indicate to collect a cash.
6. LCD display :

The LCD display will show the project name normal ATM machine message after putting finger it will show name, account no, balance and finally reduced balance and normal ATM message like thank you.
7. Power supply:
It will provide 5 volt to controller, LCD , finger print module & voice module.
& 12 volt to relay.

7.Detailed description of the invention with reference to drawing / photos:
Block diagram of system include micron roller connection to other block like sensor finger print module to enter finger, Voice module to enter voice .relay driver to connect relay to indication, LCD to display message, interface circuit to interface fingerprint module,& mic to enter voice & finally power supply to all circuitry ( refer figure 1)
Circuit diagram shows detail interfacing between microcontroller & system components. (Refer Figure 8.).
