Smart Body Temperature And Mask Detector

Abstract: Wearing a mask is necessary, especially for those who are at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19 infections. COVID-19 is shared primarily among people who are in close proximity to one another (less than 6 feet), but it can also be spread by people who have no symptoms and are unaware that they are infected. This smart body temperature and mask detector is used to measure the body temperature and status of mask wearing, stores the data in cloud. This system enables the touchless attendance monitoring system. Algorithm designed for face detection is having 90% accuracy.

Specification

Description:Field of the Invention:
The present innovation relates to the method of replacing attendance monitoring system i.e) Punching system and also it measures body temperature and saves the status of mask wearing. Due to the spread of Covid 19, the entire world enters into the touch-less monitoring system for creating safe and secure environment.
Background of the invention:
Covid 19 is a deadly disease which is killing crores of people around the world. Covid 19 can cause symptoms of fever, dry cough, loss of sense of smell, and also pneumonia. 14.8% of people over 80 years old, infected with the virus, have died from it, compared with 0.4% in people aged 40-49% and none in children under 9 years. The situation across countries is rapidly changing and these numbers will continue to change as the pandemic shifts. Covid 19 spreads mainly through direct or physical contact with affected people. As a part of reducing the spread of Covid 19 around the world in the organization like colleges, offices, schools, etc., system with touchless system is needed.
In recent years, people have been paying more and more attention to health care, but the focus is gradually shifting from diagnosis and treatment to prevention, especially when deadly diseases are spreading. Some diseases that cause significant damage to human organs have been identified. For example, in 2009, the H1N1 outbreak occurred in 209 countries, with a total death toll as high as 14,142 worldwide. Dengue fever cases have been often found in tropical and subtropical areas. In Taiwan, up to 15,732 cases were reported in 2014 (Ministry of Health and Welfare Department of Disease Control of Taiwan, 2015). The Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), identified recently, is a severe lung infection posing a global threat to human health. In 2012, MERS was found in Middle East and spread fast to the world. A total of 27 countries reported cases of MERS-CoV. These diseases along with other highly infectious diseases have brought great impacts on public health, so that the prevention of infectious diseases becomes an urgent issue. With large-scale outbreaks of infectious diseases, the issue of public health has become the center of attention. The situations are getting worst if the treatment is delayed, which might threaten hundreds of thousands of people.
Measuring body temperature is the first step towards infectious disease prevention. To prevent the spread of infectious disease, it is necessary to develop a body temperature monitoring system capable of automatically measuring body temperature, collecting body temperature data, analyzing the
data, and providing alerts to the public. The technology of Internet of things (IoT) can be a great help in constructing such a monitoring system. IoT represents a common concept that network devices have ability to measure different parameters and collect sensed data, and then share the data through the Internet. IoT can connect a variety of things or objects, such as Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags, sensors, actuators, and mobile phones. Through unique schemes, these things and objects are able to interact with each other and cooperate with their neighbors to reach common goals. With the IoT technologies, the sensed data can be sent to a cloud and analyzed by a computing platform. Recently, more and more researchers have utilized the IoT technologies.
So Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)1 recommended all people 2 years of age and older to wear a mask in public areas especially when other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain. Hence by reducing the risk of transmission of this deadly virus from an infected person to a healthy, the virus’ spread and disease severity can be reduced to a great extent. Face Mask detection has turned up to be an astonishing problem in the domain of image processing and computer vision. Face detection has various use cases ranging from face recognition to capturing facial motions, where the latter calls for the face to be revealed with very high precision.
Summary of the Invention:
In the Intelligent face mask detections and body temperature monitoring System, the communication can be done with the help of the WI-FI communication network. In addition to the microcontroller, camera and temperature sensor are included. Using these sensors, mask recognition is calculated with the help of machine learning. The temperature is displayed in the display. The information to the computer is carried out by the Wi-fi technology. Multiple reports can be generated for future references.
Detailed Description of the Invention:

Fig 1 represents the Jetson Nano Developer Kit. CPU is Quad-core ARM Cortex-A57 MPCore processor. Memory capacity is 4 GB 64-bit LPDDR4, 1600MHz 25.6 GB/s. Comparing with raspberry pi board, the computational time is less and gives accurate results. Camera module connected to this 12 lanes (3x4 or 4x2) MIPI CSI-2 D-PHY 1.1 (1.5 Gb/s per pair). The specification
of USB port is 4x USB 3.0, USB 2.0 Micro-B. The encoding and decoding process will take place at the rate of 250MP/sec.
The camera attached is having the following specifications,
 CMOS size: 1/4inch.
 Aperture (F): 2.35.
 Focal Length: 3.15mm.
 Angle of View (diagonal): 160 degree.
 Distortion: <14.3%4 screw holes.
 Used for attachment.
 Provides 3.3V power output.
 Dimension: 25mm × 24mm
Thermal IR sensor is connected to measure the human’s body temperature. Status of mask wearing and body temperatures will be stored in cloud space and the reports can be generated n times. A mobile application is developed for identifying the notification of temperature and attendance notifications. , C , Claims:We claim that;
