Specification

DESC:Field of Invention:
The invention is in field of dispersion device. More particularly, the invention relates to smart dispersion system.

Background of Invention:
Fragrances have been used to mask odours, since antiquity. A variety of compounds have been used over the past two millennia for their abilities to create pleasant aromas or to eliminate unpleasant odours arising from pets, cigarette smoke, dampness or the like. Few of these materials could also be used as mosquito repellent.

Further, fragrances help in improving health, or uplifting of mind and spirit including relief from anxiety, relief from sleeping disorders, feeling of relaxation and other various medical treatments.

There are many devices which can be used for providing fragrance in an area over a period of time. Conventionally, known method of fragrance delivery system includes heating the essential oil, burning candles containing essential oils or using electric devices which emanate fragrance or other such materials which affect the environment using electric source for heating a reservoir material.

There is ample of literature available on methodologies that are designed to dispense fragrance in the environment. The recent developments include fragrance diffusers, which are handled manually, as well as through automatic means, using number of modern technologies. Few examples of such devices are enlisted below.

For instance, WO2011045620, filed by Reckitt & Colman (Overseas) Limited, whereby the Patent Application discloses an air treatment agent dispenser for dispensing at least one air treatment agent. The device comprises an airborne agent detector means operable to detect airborne agents in the air. Sensor being a high technology component invariably increases the cost of the dispenser. Further, the device is configured for shutting the air detector for a period of 1 second to 30 minutes. However, the time interval is not manually set. The absence of manual control provides very limited flexibility.

One more similar disclosure could be found in US6267297, whereby the Patent discloses a programmable dispenser, herein the dispenser can be programmed so as to be operational within a wide variety of operating modes, such as starting and ending operations at specific times during the day, being operational during specific days of the week, and dispensing frequency and/or intensity. The dispenser is further configured for indicating “day count” of the number of days remaining for which there is material to be dispensed. However, it does not appear that the dispenser is designed for function in conjunction with the mobile device.

Hence, the current inventors hereby provide a material dispensing device which provides the desirable flexibility of control and functionality.
