Abstract: SMART DRESSING TABLE AND METHOD FOR OPERATION ABSTRACT A smart dressing table (100) is disclosed. The dressing table (100) comprising: an ultrasonic sensor (102), a light unit (104), a fan (106), and a control unit (108) installed in the dressing table (100). The control unit (108) is configured to: receive a sensed data from the ultrasonic sensor (102); check the presence of the user within the close range of the dressing table (100); and actuate a relay (110) to activate the light unit (104) and the fan (106), when the user is present within the close range of the dressing table (100). The dressing table (100) saves energy and turns on the light unit (104) and the fan (106) when required. Claims: 10, Figures: 3 Figure 1 is selected.

Field of Invention
[001] Embodiments of the present invention generally relate to a dressing table and particularly to a smart dressing table.
Description of Related Art
[002] Traditional dressing table serves as a central component of personal grooming routines. The dressing table provides a dedicated space for individuals to prepare for their day. However, as technology continues to advance, there is a growing demand for integration of smart features into everyday furniture items to enhance convenience and functionality.
[003] Conventional dressing tables often lack adaptability to varying lighting conditions and ventilation needs, leading to suboptimal user experiences. Users struggle with inadequate lighting for precise grooming tasks or discomfort due to insufficient airflow, particularly in warm environments.
[004] CN219835366U discloses an ‘Intelligent dressing table’. However, the disclosed prior art does not adequately address issues of user comfort.
[005] CN209284574U discloses ‘A kind of intelligence dressing table’. However, the discloses prior art lacks provision for an automatic operation of lights and fans.
[006] To address these shortcomings, there is a need for a smart dressing table equipped with automatic lighting and cooling systems. Such a solution would offer users enhanced control over their grooming environment, optimizing comfort and efficiency.
[007] There is thus a need for an improved and advanced smart dressing table that can administer the aforementioned limitations in a more efficient manner.
SUMMARY
[008] Embodiments in accordance with the present invention provide a smart dressing table. The dressing table comprising: an ultrasonic sensor, installed in the dressing table, and adapted to sense a presence of a user within a close range of the dressing table. The dressing table further comprising: a light unit, installed in the dressing table, and adapted to illuminate the user present in front of the dressing table. The dressing table further comprising: a fan, installed in the dressing table, and adapted to provide air circulation to the user present in front of the dressing table. The dressing table further comprising: a control unit communicatively connected to the ultrasonic sensor. The control unit is configured to: receive a sensed data from the ultrasonic sensor; check the presence of the user within the close range of the dressing table; and actuate a relay to activate the light unit and the fan, when the user is present within the close range of the dressing table.
[009] Embodiments in accordance with the present invention further provide a method for operation of a smart dressing table. The method comprising steps of: receiving a sensed data from an ultrasonic sensor; checking a presence of a user within a close range of the dressing table; and actuating a relay to activate a light unit and a fan, when the user is present within the close range of the dressing table.
[0010] Embodiments of the present invention may provide a number of advantages depending on their particular configuration. First, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart dressing table.
[0011] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart dressing table that enhances convenience through the automatic activation of fans and lights when a person approaches the dressing table.
[0012] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart dressing table that is an energy-efficient operation by activating appliances only when needed.
[0013] Next, embodiments of the present application may provide a smart dressing table that improves user experience with a seamless and automated dressing table setup.

In an embodiment of the present invention, the dressing table 100 may be configured to offer illumination and may ensure a circulation of air to a user while utilizing the dressing table 100. According to embodiments of the present invention, the dressing table 100 may comprise an ultrasonic sensor 102, a light unit 104, a fan 106, a control unit 108, a relay 110, a power supply unit 112, an Alternating Current (AC) to a Direct Current (DC) converter 114.
[0025] In an embodiment of the present invention, the ultrasonic sensor 102 may be installed in the dressing table 100. The ultrasonic sensor 102 may be adapted to sense a presence of the user within a close range of the dressing table 100, in an embodiment of the present invention. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the ultrasonic sensor 102 may be an HC-SR04 sensor. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any type of the ultrasonic sensor 102, including known, related art, and/or later developed technologies.
[0026] In an embodiment of the present invention, the light unit 104 may be installed in the dressing table 100. The light unit 104 may be adapted to illuminate the user present in front of the dressing table 100, in an embodiment of the present invention. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light unit 104 may be a light-emitting diode (LED) strip. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any type of the light unit 104, including known, related art, and/or later developed technologies.
[0027] In an embodiment of the present invention, the fan 106 may be installed in the dressing table 100. The fan 106 may be adapted to provide air circulation to the user present in front of the dressing table 100, in an embodiment of the present invention.
[0028] In an embodiment of the present invention, the control unit 108 may be connected to the ultrasonic sensor 102. The control unit 108 may further be connected to the light unit 104 and the fan 106, in an embodiment of the present invention. In an embodiment of the present invention, the control unit 108 may be connected to the imaging unit. The control unit 108 may further be configured to execute computer-executable instructions to generate an output relating to the system 100. According to embodiments of the present invention, the control unit 108 may be, but not limited to, a Programmable Logic Control (PLC) unit, a microprocessor, a development board, and so forth. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the control unit 108 may be an Arduino Uno. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any type of the control unit 108 including known, related art, and/or later developed technologies. In an embodiment of the present invention, the control unit 108 may further be explained in conjunction with FIG. 2.
[0029] In an embodiment of the present invention, the relay 110 may be adapted to provide a connectivity of the light unit 104 and the fan 106 with the power supply unit 112. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the relay 110 may be a dual-channel relay. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any type of the relay 110, including known, related art, and/or later developed technologies.
[0030] In an embodiment of the present invention, the power supply unit 112 may be adapted to supply operational power to the control unit 108, the light unit 104, and the fan 106. The power supply unit 112 may supply an Alternating Current (AC), that may further be converted to a Direct Current (DC) using the Alternating Current (AC) to a Direct Current (DC) converter 114. Further, the converted Direct Current (DC) may be supplied to the the control unit 108, the light unit 104, and the fan 106.
[0031] According to embodiments of the present invention, the control unit 108 may be adapted to receive the Direct Current (DC) supply in a range from 3 Volts (V) to 7 Volts (V). In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the control unit 108 may be adapted to receive a Direct Current (DC) supply of 5 Volts (V) 114a. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any Volts of the Direct Current (DC) supply that may be supplied to the control unit 108.
[0032] According to embodiments of the present invention, the light unit 104 and the fan 106 may be adapted to receive the Direct Current (DC) supply in a range from 10 Volts (V) to 14 Volts (V). In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the light unit 104 and the fan 106 may be adapted to receive a Direct Current (DC) supply of 12 Volts (V) 114b. Embodiments of the present invention are intended to include or otherwise cover any Volts of the Direct Current (DC) supply that may be supplied to the light unit 104 and the fan 106.
[0033] FIG. 2 illustrates a block diagram of the control unit 108 of the dressing table 100, according to an embodiment of the present invention. The control unit 108 may comprise the computer-executable instructions in form of programming modules such as a data receiving module 200, a data comparison module 202, and an actuation module 204.
[0034] In an embodiment of the present invention, the data receiving module 200 may be configured to receive the sensed data from the ultrasonic sensor 102. The data receiving module 200 may further transmit the sensed data to the data comparison module 202, in an embodiment of the present invention.
[0035] In an embodiment of the present invention, the data comparison module 202 may be activated upon receipt of the sensed data from the data receiving module 200. The data comparison module 202 may be configured to check the presence of the user within the close range of the dressing table 100, in an embodiment of the present invention. If the user is in the close range of the dressing table 100, then the data comparison module 202 may transmit an actuation signal to the actuation module 204. Otherwise, the data comparison module 202 may reactivate the data receiving module 200 to continue receiving the sensed data from the ultrasonic sensor 102.
[0036] In an embodiment of the present invention, the actuation module 204 may be activated upon receipt of the actuation signal from the data comparison module 202. The actuation module 204 may be configured to actuate the relay 110 to activate the light unit 104 and the fan 106, in an embodiment of the present invention.
[0037] FIG. 3 depicts a flowchart of a method 300 for operation of the dressing table 100, according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0038] At step 302, the dressing table 100 may receive the sensed data from the ultrasonic sensor 102.
[0039] At step 304, the dressing table 100 may check the presence of the user within the close range of the dressing table 100. If the user is present in the close range of the dressing table 100, then the method 300 may proceed to the step 306. Otherwise, the method 300 may revert to a step 302.
[0040] At step 306, the dressing table 100 may actuate the relay 110 to activate the light unit 104 and the fan 106.

We Claim:
1. A smart dressing table (100), the dressing table (100) comprising:
an ultrasonic sensor (102), installed in the dressing table (100), and adapted to sense a presence of a user within a close range of the dressing table (100);
a light unit (104), installed in the dressing table (100), and adapted to illuminate the user present in front of the dressing table (100);
a fan (106), installed in the dressing table (100), and adapted to provide air circulation to the user present in front of the dressing table (100); and
a control unit (108) communicatively connected to the ultrasonic sensor (102), characterized in that the control unit (108) is configured to:
receive a sensed data from the ultrasonic sensor (102);
check the presence of the user within the close range of the dressing table (100); and
actuate a relay (110) to activate the light unit (104) and the fan (106), when the user is present within the close range of the dressing table (100).
2. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising a power supply unit (112) adapted to supply operational power to the control unit (108), the light unit (104), and the fan (106).
3. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, comprising an Alternating Current (AC) to a Direct Current (DC) converter (114) adapted for converting the Alternating Current (AC) supplied by a power supply unit (112) to the Direct Current (DC) received by the control unit (108), the light unit (104), and the fan (106).
4. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the control unit (108) is adapted to receive a Direct Current (DC) supply in a range from 3 Volts (V) to 7 Volts (V).
5. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the light unit (104) and the fan (106) are adapted to receive a Direct Current (DC) supply in a range from 10 Volts (V) to 14 Volts (V).
6. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the relay (110) is a dual channel relay.
7. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the control unit (108) is an Arduino Uno.
8. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the ultrasonic sensor (102) is an HC-SR04 sensor.
9. The dressing table (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the light unit (104) is a Light Emitting Diode (LED) strip.
10. A method (300) for operation of a smart dressing table (100), the method (300) characterized by steps of:
receiving a sensed data from an ultrasonic sensor (102);
checking a presence of a user within a close range of the dressing table (100); and
actuating a relay (110) to activate a light unit (104) and a fan (106), when the user is present within the close range of the dressing table (100).
