Abstract: SMART ECO-FRIENDLY GARBAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM One of the biggest issues for highly populated metropolitan areas is proper trash management. Due to environmental degradation, maintaining a healthy, sustainable lifestyle in metropolitan settings is becoming more and more challenging. Lack of a proper waste management strategy leads to issues like a trash overflow that seriously damages our ecosystem. Polluted environments contribute to the pandemic spread of many different diseases. Waste management is a problem for both industrialized and developing nations' long-term growth. Because of rising population, urbanization, and industry, proper waste management is becoming more difficult. We need to use technology-based solutions in the present era to manage big amounts of waste for overpopulated urban regions.

Title of The Invention
SMART ECO-FRIENDLY GARBAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Field of the Invention
This invention relates to smart eco-friendly garbage management system.
Background of the Invention
IN2014DN05778A: An integrated medical waste management and treatment system may include sensors interlocks communications links and/or other features for determining if the waste itself the decontaminating disinfectant used in the process or the status of the system are consistent with recommended or authorized system operation. System operation may be terminated if a condition inconsistent with recommended or authorized system operation is detected. Such compliance apparatus may include an electronic scale for determining the weight of the waste loaded into the receiver compartment a metal detector or a sensor for determining if the decontaminating disinfectant is a recommended or authorized disinfectant. A communications link may be provided one or more systems to transmit information to a central station to deliver updates or commands associated with the recommended or authorized operation of each system.

CN113479508A: The application provides a garbage classification management method and system. The method comprises the following steps: receiving first use data sent by each controller; the first use data comprises use data of a corresponding garbage can collected by a collection device connected with each controller; judging whether the use data is larger than a containing threshold value; when the usage data is larger than the accommodating threshold, determining a target garbage can corresponding to the usage data, and sending a cleaning instruction to the first terminal; the first terminal is a use terminal of a cleaning worker, and the cleaning instruction comprises the position of the target garbage can. Through the mode, the cleaner can clearly know the use condition of each garbage can, and only the full target garbage can needs to be cleaned according to the received information, and the timing or patrol mode is not needed, so that each garbage can in each garbage classification box is checked, convenience is brought to the cleaner, and the work efficiency of the cleaner is improved.
None of the prior art indicate above either alone or in combination with one another disclose what the present invention has disclosed. Present invention proposed garbage waste disposal system deals with the wastes produced in our daily lives. The garbage bin has an automated lid system which ensures environmental hygiene and sustainable urban living. The proposed system has a solar panel to provide eco-friendly and clean energy to the garbage bin and the security cameras.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This summary is provided to introduce a selection of concepts, in a simplified format, that are further described in the detailed description of the invention. This summary is neither intended to identify key or essential inventive concepts of the invention and nor is it intended for determining the scope of the invention.
To further clarify advantages and features of the present invention, a more particular description of the invention will be rendered by reference to specific embodiments thereof, which is illustrated in the appended drawings. It is appreciated that these drawings depict only typical embodiments of the invention and are therefore not to be considered limiting of its scope. The invention will be described and explained with additional specificity and detail with the accompanying drawings.
One of the biggest issues for highly populated metropolitan areas is proper trash management.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The illustrated embodiments of the subject matter will be understood by reference to the drawings, wherein like parts are designated by like numerals throughout. The following description is intended only by way of example, and simply illustrates certain selected embodiments of devices, systems, and methods that are consistent with the subject matter as claimed herein, wherein:
Figure 1, we have presented a smart IoT-based integrated system that consists of an identification system, an automated lid system, a display system, a communication system, a solar panel, and a security camera to assure environmental hygiene, sustainable urban living, and security. To synchronize all four systems, a NODEMCU ESP8266 microcontroller is employed. Sensors are used for identification and measuring the garbage level. The garbage bin and the security camera are powered by the solar panel.
Figure 2, we see that the system offers the ability to continuously check the level of trash in the bin and display the percentage of the can that has been filled on an LED display powered by solar panels attached to the garbage bin.
The suggested system employs sensors for human identification and waste level measurement. The garbage bin's display provides the personnel with data about the level of garbage in the bin. This smart garbage bin provides an automated lid to personnel. When personnel are detected within a 1m range of the garbage bin, the lid opens if the garbage bin is not full and remains closed the rest of the time. When the garbage bin is completely full, it sends a communication to the corresponding authorities to collect the waste. NODEMCU ESP8266 oversees the synchronization of the entire automated system.
Figure 3, we see that to synchronize the identity system, automatic lid system, microcontroller, display system, and communication system, an integrated NODEMCU ESP8266 programme is designed. An ultrasonic sensor is mounted on the front of the garbage can. The ultrasonic sensor's transmitter generates an ultrasonic sound that is outside the range of human hearing, and the receiver receives the reflected sound waves by the solid objects. As a result, if any workers are identified within a particular radius, the rubbish bin automatically opens. When the garbage bin is full, the communication system uses a worldwide system for mobile communications (OFDMA) module to notify the corresponding authorities to collect the waste. The figures depict embodiments of the present subject matter for the purposes of illustration only. A person skilled in the art will easily recognize from the following description that alternative embodiments of the structures and methods illustrated herein may be employed without departing from the principles of the disclosure described herein.
