TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates generally to exercise equipment. In particular, the present disclosure provides an intelligent mat for floor-based exercises, such as yoga or other exercises which require prolonged contact with the floor.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present disclosure. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed disclosure, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] Yoga keeps the person fit and healthy. All age group humans generally perform yoga. On 21st June the whole world celebrate the international yoga day and promise to do yoga every day. To do proper Yoga, a good quality of mat is required to support the body. The mat are intended to protect the user from slipping on a supporting surface and/or floor or from otherwise touching or laying on the floor, which is uncomfortable and unsanitary. Exercise mats, such as yoga mats and other fitness mats, are commonly utilized for various activities, such as yoga, meditation, calisthenics, weight training, and/or other related activities. In many cases, the exercise mats provide a soft cushion for users' body parts (e.g., feet, tailbone, knees, etc.) when performing these activities, which avoids pain that may be incurred from performing these activities on hard floor surfaces. In addition for providing comfort, other benefits of exercise mats include improving users' balance, stability, and grip when performing activities. Exercise mats are often referred to as “sticky mats” because these mats usually are made with a textured surface that can help prevent slipping on a supporting surface.
[0004] Many individuals often desire to use various accessories to compliment their works out or other activities. In one example, users may desire watches having timer to assist in counting time or number of steps while performing exercise. It is not easy to carry the timer at every place, especially while the user is performing exercise outside. Therefore, a mat is required which can display timer on the mat the user while performing exercise on the mat.
[0005] In winter, the user feel cold while performing exercises in winter season, thus, mostly avoid doing exercises. Therefore, a mat is required which may provide warmth effect to the user while performing exercise on the mat.
[0006] While performing exercise, sometimes we need pain in various body part, and it seems a light massage is required for that body part, but we don’t want to go outside for massage or don’t want to skip the exercise session. Thus, there is a need of massaging element in the mat that may be use in rest time, while performing exercise.
[0007] There is, therefore, a need to smart mat for performing exercise that may obviate the above mentioned limitations, and enable the user to perform exercise in an interactive way.
OBJECTS OF THE PRESENT DISCLOSURE
