Specification

The present invention relates generally to providing temperature-controlled liquid. More specifically, the present invention relates to smart hot cum cold flask.
BACKGROUND ART
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art.
[0003] The human body can last weeks without food, but only days without water. The body is made up of 50 to 75 per cent water. Water forms the basis of blood, digestive juices, urine and perspiration, and is contained in lean muscle, fat and bones. As the body can’t store water, we need fresh supplies every day to make up for losses from the lungs, skin, urine and faeces (poo). The amount we need depends on our body size, metabolism, the weather, the food we eat and our activity levels.
[0004] Water is needed for most body functions, including to: Maintain the health and integrity of every cell in the body; Keep the bloodstream liquid enough to flow through blood vessels; Help eliminate the by-products of the body’s metabolism, excess electrolytes (for example, sodium and potassium), and urea, which is a waste product formed through the processing of dietary protein; Regulate body temperature through sweating; Moisten mucous membranes such as those of the lungs and mouth; Lubricate and cushion joints; Reduce the risk of cystitis by keeping the bladder clear of bacteria; Aid digestion and prevent constipation; Moisturise the skin to maintain its texture and appearance; Carry nutrients and oxygen to cells; and Serve as a shock absorber inside the eyes, spinal cord and in the amniotic sac surrounding the foetus in pregnancy.
[0005] As it has been seen that whenever we go outside the home, we always need a water bottle with us, but in the severe summer and in chilling weather conditions everyone wants to maintain a required temperature inside the bottle. Although there are plenty of different insulated bottle designs are available in the market, but all these design are passive in nature, we are forced to rely on their insulating capabilities. Therefore in the present invention, all the effort has been made to keep the temperature inside the bottle as per the requirement irrespective of the ambient conditions using active methods. There are various reasons and benefits of having such bottle. Some are as follows.
[0006] To cater the requirement soldiers who are deployed in the border areas. surrounding conditions in such areas are generally is non favorable, either there will be too cold or too hot. So for these soldiers who are the performing their duties whole day inside a bunker, this bottle could be very useful for them, as they can maintain the temperature of water inside the bottle as per their requirements.
[0007] For example, during the journey for a family who are carrying milk with them to feed for their toddlers, some people put milk in a normal flask and take it with them, but after some time the milk gets spoiled, due to the change in the temperature requirement for the milk. For example, for students and for daily commuters it is not possible to always buy packaged water for them, as it will be a costly choice in long terms and the bottle can be used for keeping the temperature sensitive medicines inside the bottle in case of emergency. Keeping all these things facts in mind, the present research is aimed to design a flask for carrying any fluid inside it with a feature to maintain the internal temperature hot or cold as per the user demand.
[0008] Therefore, there is a need in the art for a smart hot cum cold flask that seeks to overcome short-comings highlighted above and utilize techniques, which are robust, portable, efficient, cost-effective system.

[0050]
[0051] STATE OF THE ART: In today's era, it is very important to have technology to do any work. Using technology, we have prepared such a flask which is needed by every human being. Generally man uses only simple flask. The function of these flasks is only to keep the water or milk cold or hot and cannot be cooled and hot when needed. But in this flask of ours, you can cool the normal water or milk or heat it if needed. Also as this flask is using some electronics to serve the said purpose, so it will require a dry battery fitted inside it with a external charging facility from the normal power source as well as from the flexible solar panel glued outside the bollte.
[0052] DETAILED DESCRIPTION: : The sole purpose of doing this invention is that every person carries a flask of water with him or her. But when needed, he/she does not know how to cool or heat that water according to his own. Whereas in this flask, you can cool or heat the water according to the need. The present design the flask is composed in the two halves. The upper half is used to keep the fluid inside the bottle while the lower flask is used to accommodate all the electronics used to heat or cool the fluid filled inside the bottle, including the lithium polymer battery. In order to heat or cool the fluid inside the bottle, two peltier module will be used, one for cooling purpose and other for the heating purpose. For selection of heating and cooling, there will be a separate sliding switch. The power requirement for peltier module will be sufficed by the battery provided in the lower half of the bottle. The upper half of the bottle will be made by the copper metal, as copper is good for health. The upper part will be made in such a way that there will be outer and inlayer of the copper and in between these two layers there will be insulating glass wool material to provide the thermal insulation.
[0053] There are the following features provided in the bottle.
[0054] The battery used in the bottle can also be used to charge smartphones in emergency.
[0055] The inside temperature of the bottle can be maintained as per need.
[0056] The bottle can be used to keep the temperature sensitive medicines.
[0057] The bottle is having a power economy circuit which will only consume power when the power is switched on. Also it is having auto power cut option when the desired temperature is achieved like in case of thermostat.
[0058] The user can set the temperature as per the requirement using the buttons provided.
[0059] RESULTS AND ADVANTAGES:
[0060] In the present invention the efforts has been made to design and fabricate a multipurpose water or fluid bottle to heat or cool the inner filled fluid as per the user demand, this would be beneficial as per the need of today’s fast life where everyone is in hurry for their day today’s affairs.
