Abstract: “Smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch” The present invention is an innovative Industrial IoT (Internet of things) based Smart Multichannel Load Switch which can perform multiple important functions required for Smart Grid Applications. Along with Smart Functions, device is designed in a way that it can be mounted on any existing Standard Distribution Transformer. It having built in Automatic AI (Artificial intelligence) based Operations of output load switches required to reduce commercial loss.

Claims:We claims,
1. A Smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch comprising of:
a) Industrial Internet of things (IIoT);
b) Global positioning system (GPS);
c) Gateway;
d) Energy measurement (EM);
e) Electronic tripping unit (ETU);
f) Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) unit;
g) Analog input (AI);
h) Digital output (DO);
i) Ac-DC power supply (SMPS);
Wherein measurement of parameters through Metering current transformers (MCT) and Protection current transformers (PCT).
2. The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein Industrial Internet of things (IIoT) is built in SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) for generation and processing of multiple electrical parameters for each individual channel such as High Voltage, Low PF, High Current, Sag &Swell Events, High Oil Temperature, Low Oil Level, Buchholz Operated.

The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein Global positioning system (GPS) is helps in asset tracking with Live Location and has functionality preconfigured and schedule based operations which automatically switch output power supply of transformer from three phase to single phase.

4. The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein gateway operated based on serial Communication Connectivity, Wireless LAN (Local area network) Connectivity and WAN (Wide area network) Connectivity.

The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein Energy measurement (EM) is built in Class 0.2s Energy Meter with advance electrical monitoring unit which measures parameters like Quadrant wise Reactive energy, %THD (Total harmonic distortion), Sag, Swell, Integrated Period Demand, Maximum Demand.

6. The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein Electronic tripping unit (ETU) provides Individual channel wise protections for Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Cut Off Voltage, Over Load, Unbalance Load, Short Circuit.

7. The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) unit reduces distribution losses, and do correction after receiving data from Energy measurement(EM).

8. The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein Analog input (AI) and Digital output (DO) act as Health Monitoring unit which sense oil Temperature and oil Level.

9. The smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch as claimed in claim 1, wherein system transmit notification wirelessly and remotely to users. , Description:Field of the Invention:
The present invention relates to electrical field. Further it relates to smart multichannel load control switch for distribution transformer which is related to smart operation. It also can be used in existing standard distribution transformers.
Background of the Invention:
US7701357 discloses system, device and method of detecting an overload condition of a distribution transformer. But this patent is silent about all other components which are in present invention.
US8024077 discloses system and computer program product to monitor and control an electric customer load and generation in order to optimize the performance of a distribution transformer. But this patent is silent about all other parameters and components which are used in present invention.
US20140297206 A1 relates to a universal smart energy transformer module used for determination of the condition and performance of the transformer like input, output, power quality etc. This patent application is silent about health monitoring of transformer, load control system and commercial loss reduction in system.
WO2008117306 A2 relates to distribution transformer monitoring system which measures temperature in box by temperature sensor, low battery message etc but silent about short circuit protection, commercial loss of power, health monitoring of transformer.
The presently invented Smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch for distribution transformer is having various innovative functional features embedded in industrial IoT (Internet of things) added with artificial intelligence to provide smart functioning. It has compact and innovative design. It performs various functions and has many benefits as compare to existing transformer.
Objective of the Invention:
The main objective of the present invention is innovative compact design with intelligent load switching without human intervention.
Another objective of the present invention is to have Remote Monitoring and Control of load & health of the Transformer.
Another objective of the present invention is that it is suitable for all types of new as well as existing transformers.
Another objective of the present invention is technical loss reduction in electrical distribution system
Another objective of the present invention is commercial loss reduction in electrical distribution system.
Another objective of the present invention is the device with built in Protection which helps in reducing down time and increasing grid availability.
Another objective of the present invention is to improve safety by implementing short circuit protections.
Yet another objective of the present invention is to provide the transformer Protections, reducing down time related to breakdown as well as improve safety of electrical system.
Summary of the Invention:
The present invention is an innovative Industrial IoT (Internet of things) based Smart Multichannel Load Switch, which can perform multiple important functions required for Smart Grid Applications. Along with Smart Functions, device is designed in a way that it can be mounted on any existing Standard Distribution Transformer and also in proposed for new Distribution Transformer.
Compact and Innovative Design makes it possible to mount smart multichannel load control switch on Low voltage (LV) Side of Transformer. Power Supply inputs of Smart Multichannel Load Control Switch is connected to Transformer Low voltage (LV) Outputs using Cable or Bus bar based mechanism. Power Supply and Communication outputs of smart multichannel load control switch will get connected to Transformer Low voltage (LV) Adaptor. Low voltage (LV) Adaptor is having multiple plug and play connections to connect Power Supply of multiple 1-Phase and 3 Phase Consumers along with In Home Display facility.

Detailed Description of the Invention:
The present invention relates to smart electrical distribution system. The smart multichannel load control switch is used for smart functionality. In conventional approach, different devices used as per required functionality. These all devices are different and perform their functioning separately.
The present invention is combination of all these devices in single equipment performing all function and has smaller in size. Mainly it works on industrial IoT (Internet of things) and artificial intelligence, which provides smart functioning. This smart device can be used with new transformer as well as in existing Distribution Transformers.
In one embodiment, the present invention is Smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch (SMLCS) which monitor various electrical parameters such as Voltage, Current, Power, Frequency, Integrated Power Demand, Power Factor, Maximum Demand, %THD (Total harmonic distortion), Sag, Swell etc.
In another embodiment, it helps in Bi Directional Active, Reactive and Apparent Energy Measurement as well as Audit calculations with class 0.2s accuracy.
In another embodiment, the present device monitor Transformer Oil Temperature, Buchholz relay status and other Transformer Health parameters.
The present invention also performs various functions related to SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) such as tag processing, alarms processing, data storage and retrieval, notification on preconfigured events such as Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Low Power Factor, Short Circuit, Over Load, theft etc.
In another embodiment of the present invention, the present device gives multiple protections using a single system such as over load, Unbalance Load, Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Short Circuit etc. with Auto Retry and Auto Re closure action.
Multiple consumer services connection is possible by using this type of smart transformers which is unique feature of the present invention.
In one embodiment, A Smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch comprising of Industrial Internet of things (IIoT); Global positioning system (GPS); Gateway; Energy measurement (EM); Electronic tripping unit (ETU); Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) unit; Analog input (AI); Digital output (DO); and Ac-DC power supply (SMPS); wherein measurement of parameters through Metering current transformers (MCT) and Protection current transformers (PCT).

In another embodiment, an energy measurement (EM) is built in Class 0.2s Energy Meter with advance electrical monitoring unit which measures parameters like Voltage, Current, Power, Frequency, Integrated Power Demand, Power Factor, Maximum Demand, %THD (Total harmonic distortion), Sag, Swell etc. Quadrant wise Reactive energy.
In another embodiment, an electronic tripping unit (ETU) provides Individual channel wise protections for Over Voltage, Under Voltage, cut off Voltage, Over Load, Unbalance Load, and Short Circuit.
In another embodiment, an automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) unit reduces distribution losses, and do correction after receiving data from Energy measurement (EM).
In another embodiment, an analog input (AI) and Digital output (DO) act as Health Monitoring unit which sense oil Temperature and oil Level.
In another embodiment, the smart Multi Channel Load Control Switch is to transmit notification wirelessly and remotely to the users.
The present invention is an innovative Industrial IoT based Smart Multichannel Load Switch, which made up of various modules embedded in devices and/or units based on functionality and which can perform multiple functions required for Smart Grid Applications are as follows:
1. Energy Monitoring, Accounting, Auditing (EM) Unit:
It is built in Class 0.2s Energy Meter with advance electrical monitoring unit which measures various parameters such as Voltage, Current, Power, Frequency, Integrated Power Demand, Power Factor, Maximum Demand, %THD (Total harmonic distortion), Sag, Swell etc. Quadrant wise Reactive energy. It measures all these parameters through MCT (Metering current transformers) and PCT (Protection current transformers) and send data to client database. Individual Output Channel wise monitoring of Energy and Electrical Parameters is performed by this unit.
2. Embedded SCADA, EDGE Computing and Artificial Intelligence (IoT) unit:
It has built in SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) for Processing of multiple electrical parameters for each individual channel. It also used for generation as well as logging of alarms and events such as High Voltage, Low PF, High Current, Sag & Swell Events, High Oil Temperature, Low Oil Level, Buchholz operation due to fault in transformer etc. It is built in Intelligence to learn load pattern of individual channel and generate abnormal notifications. It also helps to cut off the load in case of tampering or interchanging of individual output power supply connection. It takes all parameters, analysis, store and also measure data of transformer heath monitoring.
3. Health Monitoring (Tr HMU) unit:
This analog inputs (AI) for sensing of oil Temperature and oil Level. This is digital Inputs for sensing of Buchholz relay status sensing. These data are used for further processing and notification.
4. Electrical Protections (ETU) unit:
It has built in Individual channel wise protections for Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Cut off Voltage, Over Load, Unbalance Load, Short Circuit etc. This collects data and transfer to IoT and initiate protection.
5. Automatic Power Factor Correction (APFC) unit:
It has built in Automatic Power Factor Correction Unit for reactive power compensation to reduce distribution losses. It is an intelligent unit which receive data from EM, then transfer to IoT and provide correction. These is an automatic Operations of Capacitor bank to maintain power factor and reduce technical losses
6. Multiple Wired & Wireless Communication Connectivity (Gateway, GPS) unit:
There are many connectivity for measurements and data transfer such as
- Serial Communication Connectivity : RS485 MODBUS RTU
- Wireless LAN (Local area network) Connectivity : Wi-Fi connectivity for local monitoring, operations, configuration and firmware over the air update
- WAN (Wide area network) Connectivity : Cellular Communication for Cloud Connectivity

7. Remote Monitoring and Operation unit:
Industrial IoT and Cloud based connectivity used for Remote Monitoring and Operations by using Cellular Communication Network. Multiple Types of Operations Modes are possible for Load Connect/Disconnect, Single Phase / Three Phase Supply Switching etc. These operations are remote command based, schedule and logic based automatic operations.
8. Location Tracking (GPS):
It has built in GPS (Global positioning system) module for Asset tracking with Live Location. It has built in GPS Clock Synchronization. Remote Monitoring and Operations by cellular communication with central server or cloud using Industrial Internet of Things Protocol and Security architecture. Wi-Fi Communication with client’s mobile application used for Local Monitoring and Data retrieval. It also helps in tracking of Transformer Location and Status. This helps for detection and automatic power supply cut off in case of Circuit or channel load swapping. It has synchronised clock based on location.
