Abstract: The present invention discloses the smart refrigerator using Internet of Things (IoT). The number of sensors and cameras are installed at inside of refrigerator. Cameras and sensors are installed to each tray and drawers of refrigerator. After particular periodic interval sensors and cameras send data to cloud server via wi-fi modem. At server, with help of images and sensors, it checks there is any leftover food or spoiled food. And send alert/SMS related to this to user/owner.

1) The smart refrigerator using Internet of Things (IoT) comprising of;
a. Any smart electronic computing device
b. Sensors
c. Cameras
d. Wi-Fi connectivity modem
2) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, the sensor sense inside temperature of refrigerator.
3) The system claimed in claim1 wherein, the camera of the smart refrigerator capturing the image is the camera of the smart refrigerator capturing the image of a shelf, a drawer, or trays of the smart refrigerator.
4) The system claimed in claim 1 wherein, the image is transmitted to the server through the internet using a wireless connection (Wi-Fi).
, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the method or system for smart refrigerator, capable of capturing images and the images being used to detect spoiled food by using Internet of Things.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Refrigerator is now very common and useful product of day to day life. Almost each and every person used refrigerator. The main purpose of refrigerator is to keep food cold. Cold temperatures help food to stay fresh longer. The basic idea behind refrigeration is to slow down the activity of bacteria (which all food contains) so that it takes longer for the bacteria to spoil the food.
As access to food become more convenient, the more food is wasted by the people. This is due to the reason that people lose track of thing that they have bought and put into storage. In the present, people commonly use a refrigerator to store food that has not yet been consumed. Sizes of refrigerators may vary according to the preference of a user. But, as the size of the refrigerator gets bigger, the larger the storage space is and things stored within are more easily forgotten. Thus, to reduce the food being wasted, there is a need to develop a way to keep track of the food stored within the refrigerator.
The present invention discloses the method or system of smart refrigerator using internet of things (IoT). Technology making complicated things to simple one. And smart refrigerator is one of them.
The Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of connected devices embedded with electronic devices, software, sensors, actuators, and so on which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. The concept of IoT has many applications depending on the physical devices that are connected and one of the most remarkable applications of IoT is Smart refrigerator. As the name suggest, it transform refrigerator to smart refrigerator by adding some sensors and camera to make an intelligent cost-effective smart refrigerator.
OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
The main object of the invention is that, the smart refrigerator using internet of things (IoT).
Another object of the invention is that, send alert/SMS to owner/user about left over food in refrigerator.
Another object of the invention is that, send alert/SMS to owner/user about spoil food in refrigerator.
Other object of the invention is that, number of sensors and cameras are used for process.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system or method for smart refrigerator using Internet of Things (IoT). The number of sensors and cameras are installed in fridge doors and main body. These cameras take images of various parts of refrigerator. And if there is any leftover food in refrigerator or spoil food, then sensor and cameras send information to smart phone using Internet of Things (IoT). Wi-fi modem installed for connectivity of sensors, cameras and smart phone.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
The present invention discloses the system or method for smart refrigerator by using Internet of Things (IoT).
Internet of Things (IoT) has many applications depending on the physical devices that are connected and one of the most remarkable applications of IoT is Smart refrigerator. Smart refrigerator that have been made capable of alerting/sending sms to owner/user about leftover food or spoil food.
The smart refrigerator using Internet of Things (IoT) is comprising of:
Any smart electronic computing device – storing smart refrigerator application
Sensors – Sense temperature inside refrigerator and send data to smart electronic device such as smart phone
Cameras – Capture images from inside of refrigerator
Wi-Fi modem – for connectivity between sensor and electronic device
The smart refrigerator using Internet of Things (IoT) can work as following:
Step 1) The smart refrigerator application is installed to smart electronic device such as smart phone.
Step 2) The number of sensors and cameras are installed inside the refrigerator.
Step 3) The Wi-Fi modem for connectivity between smart device and sensors/ cameras is installed.
Step 4) With regular interval of time sensor sense data from refrigerator and sent to cloud server. And then data sent to smart phone.
Step 5) The cameras inside refrigerator take images of various place and send images to cloud server using wi-fi modem. Then server check whether it is any leftover food/ spoil food.
Step 6) Send alert/SMS to user/owner from cloud server.
This is the basic model of Smart refrigerator. And scope of smart refrigerator is not limited to this only.
The sensors which are installed at various parts of refrigerator, senses temperature. And send data to cloud server using Internet of Things (IoT). And then server send temperature data to user/owner.
The cameras are installed at each and every tray of doors and also main body of refrigerator. Then these images are sent to cloud server using Internet of Things (IoT) with the help of Wi-Fi modem.
The backend server checks the images. If there is any leftover food or spoil food then SMS/alert is sent to user/owner about it.
Wi-Fi modem is used for connectivity between sensors, cameras and smart phone.
The sensors and cameras attached to smart refrigerators allow you to monitor spoiled food items. Additionally, it enables you to track leftover food without opening its door.
Today’s busy schedule it may happen person forget what food are stored in refrigerator. And after some period that food get spoiled. So, wastage of food happens. To solve this problem the present invention, provide system and method for smart refrigerator. It not only shows leftover food inside the refrigerator but also shows images of spoiled food.
So, user can take immediate action to prevent bad smell inside refrigerator.
The present invention doesn’t scope here only. Many more features can be added to make refrigerator smarter.
