present invention relates to a weightless smart spectacle having frame which can adapt
different color.
[0035] The term, "LED" as used herein refers to light emitting diode.
[0036] The term, "IR sensor" as used herein refers to infrared sensor.
[0037] In an embodiment, the present invention relates to a smart spectacle
comprising of a frame, lens, temple, an infrared sensor mounted on the temple, one or more
optical fibre strip to change the color of the frame, one or more LED bulb (s) fitted in the
optical fibre strip, a battery connected with the IR sensor and the LED bulb (s) and a touch
panel mounted on the temple to control the bulbs.
[0038] In an embodiment of the present invention, Referring to FIG. 1 wherein the
various component of a smart spectacle of the present invention is disclosed. As shown, the
smart spectacle (100) of the present invention can include a frame (104), lens (102), and
temple (106). Further, the smart spectacle can include, an infrared sensor (110) mounted on
the temple to pair with the external controller to control the LEDs. Further, the smart
spectacle comprises optical fibre strip (112) to change the color of the frame fitted in both
right and left temple (106). LED bulb (108) is fitted in the optical fibre strip and a battery
(114) is connected with the IR sensor and the LED bulb (s) as a power supply. Smart
spectacle further comprises a touch panel (116) mounted on the one of the temple to control
the bulbs to switch on or off of different color.

spectacle (100) of the present invention can include a LED flashlight to use as torchlight in
dark.
[0040] In an embodiment, the smart spectacle (100) of the present invention can
include a LED flashlight by replacing one of the colour changing LED in optical fiber strip.
[0041] In an embodiment, the IR sensor controller can be used to control colors, fade,
strobe and dimming. Amazingly this little controller can perform all these functions, yet it's
only about the size of a credit card. The wireless remote controller controls color change by
sending signals to infrared sensors on the lamps. In yet another embodiment, the built-in
programs in the MR RGB lamps by cycling the input power on/off can also be selected for
color change.
[0042] In yet another embodiment, the smart spectacle of the present invention
includes the IR LED, also known as IR transmitter, is a special purpose LED that transmits
infrared rays in the range of 760 nm wavelength. Such LEDs are usually made of gallium
arsenide or aluminium gallium arsenide. They, along with IR receivers, are commonly used
as sensors. Advantage of LEDs is that they generate very little heat and draw minimal power,
which makes the Color Changing E27 LED lamps extremely energy-efficient and economical
to operate. This color changing light IR LED runs on low voltage and has a long estimated
life span of at least 10,000 hours, saving users big bucks on maintenance, electric bills and
lamp replacement over time.
[0043] In an embodiment, the IR Color Changing LED is selected from 3mm, 5mm or
10mm diffused LEDs. These LEDs slowly cycle through various colors, making it ideal for
mood lighting, toys or ornaments. They have a forward voltage drop of 4.5V and at 20mA
output 330mCd in red, 500mCd in blue and 750mCd in green, and have a 25 degree viewing
angle.
[0044] In an embodiment, the battery of the smart spectacle is CR2025 battery.
[0045] In yet another embodiment, the smart spectacle has small size strip/frame as
compared with prior arts spectacles using Wifi to reduce the weight of spectacles.
Accordingly, the weight of spectacles of the present invention is too less.
[0046] In an embodiment, the optical fiber strips are used to change the color of
frames of spectacles thereby the user can change the color of frame of their spectacles
according to their clothes.
[0047] In an embodiment, the LED small bulbs are fitted inside the strip appeared as
jewels in the frame so that the person can use them in case of there is no light.
[0048] It should be apparent to those skilled in the art that many more modifications
besides those already described are possible without departing from the inventive concepts
herein. The inventive subject matter, therefore, is not to be restricted except in the spirit of
the appended claims. Moreover, in interpreting both the specification and the claims, all
terms should be interpreted in the broadest possible manner consistent with the context. In
particular, the terms "comprises" and "comprising" should be interpreted as referring to
elements, components, or steps in a non-exclusive manner, indicating that the referenced
elements, components, or steps may be present, or utilized, or combined with other elements,
components, or steps that are not expressly referenced. Where the specification claims refer
to at least one of something selected from the group consisting of A, B, C .... And N, the text
should be interpreted as requiring only one element from the group, not A plus N, or B plus
N, etc.
[0049] While the foregoing describes various embodiments of the invention, other
and further embodiments of the invention may be devised without departing from the basic
scope thereof. The scope of the invention is determined by the claims that follow. The
invention is not limited to the described embodiments, versions or examples, which are
included to enable a person having ordinary skill in the art to make and use the invention
when combined with information and knowledge available to the person having ordinary skill
in the art.
