A hotel management system for tracking, storing and transmitting real time activity of at least room in the hotel, wherein the system comprises

wherein in the application configured to
receive input signal from the card holder and/or key tag and/or utility devices of the room,
control the master control based on the input signal to activate the power supply and/or utility devices of the room,
perform various functionalities of hotel management and/or operation,
track the real time activity of the room based on the status of card holder and/or key tag and/or utility devices,
store the real time activity of the room in to the database, and
transmit the real time activity report of the room to the hotel manager and/or hotel owner via email and/or SMS and/or API mobile applications notifications to the mobile device.

The hotel management system of claim 1, wherein the application further configured to activate the master controller for the respective room based ON status of card holder and/or key tag, which in-turn activate the slave controller for the respective room, thereby power supply is supplied to the respective room and/or one or more utility devices of the respective room are activated.

The hotel management system of claim 1, wherein the application further configured to deactivate the master controller for the respective room based OFF status of card holder, which in-turn deactivate the slave controller for the respective room, thereby power supply is stopped to the respective room and/or one or more utility devices of the respective room are deactivated.
4. The hotel management system of claim 1, wherein the application further configured to store the check in details to the server, wherein the check in details includes as check in time, guest name, guest’s available prepaid amount with the hotel.
5. The hotel management system of claim 1, wherein the application further configured to store the check out details to the server, wherein the check out details includes check out time, guest name, guest’s available balance amount with the hotel.
6. The hotel management system of claim 1, wherein master controller is connected to the server via wireless and or wired network, wherein the slave controller is connected to the card holder and or key tag and/or utility devices of each room.
7. The hotel management system of claim 1, wherein system enables the guest to swipe and/or enter and/or remove the guest card from the card holder, and the server receives the input signal from the card holder and or key tag via wireless and or wired network.

Field of Invention
The embodiments herein generally relate to hotel management. More specifically, the embodiments described herein relate to systems and methods for hotel management from reservation to check out operations. The systems and methods enables to reduce pilferage in hotel management and provides notification on entire operation in key panel as well as in mobile SMS.
Background of the Invention
The hotel management is the perfect management techniques includes but is not limited to management of hotel staff, business management, upkeep and sanitary standards of hotel facilities, guest satisfaction and customer service, marketing management, sales management, revenue management, financial accounting, purchasing, and other functions. The size and complexity of a hotel management organisational structure varies significantly depending on the size, features, and function of the hotel or resort.
The hotel management system is an ideal software solution for hospitality industry that can be used at hotels, motels, inns, resorts, lodges, hostel, military guest houses, ranch, suites, apartments, medical centres and bed, breakfast operations. Conventionally, the hotel management system is a web based hotel management software which can be scalable and ready for unlimited hotels, users, rooms and guests. They replaced old-fashioned, paper-based methods that tended to be both cumbersome and inefficient. They are often deployed as client/server configurations. Today, most next generation hotel management systems favour web and cloud technology and offer their software to clients using a software-as-a-service model.
However, the conventionally hotel management system does not track the actual check-in of the guest, or provide automated control system to avoid threat in the hotel. Further, the current system does not have room activity report and/or SMS AND/OR API MOBILE APPLICATIONS NOTIFICATIONS to the hotel manager or hotel owner.
Therefore, there is a need in prior art to develop a system and methods for improved hotel management system to overcome the problem associated with the prior art. Further, there is a need for system and methods for automated control of guest check in and check out, and notification for tracking various activities and also detect unauthorised guest in the hotel.
Objects Of The Invention
Some of the objects of the present disclosure are described herein below:
A main object of the present invention is to provide a system and methods for automated control and tracking of guest check in check out.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a system with an embedded device to receive the signal from each room in the hotel.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a system for hotel management which includes an interface device, master controller and slave controller to receive input signal from each room and control power and other utilities to each room.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a system and methods for detecting unauthorised guest in the hotel.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a system and methods for track, record and transmit the real time activity report of the room through email and/or SMS and/or API mobile application notifications to hotel manager and/or hotel owner.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a system and method which can enable to search vacant and occupied rooms easily.
Another object of the present invention is to provide an application in an interface device along with the display device for all management and/or operations of hotel.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a system and method for hotel management which the system can be operated in web and cloud technology.
The other objects and advantages of the present invention will be apparent from the following description when read in conjunction with the accompanying drawings which are incorporated for illustration of preferred embodiments of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope thereof.

Summary Of The Invention
In view of the foregoing, an embodiment herein provides a system and methods for hotel management for various functionality of hotels booking such as easy login and unique id for all users of the system; master settings includes room rate information, room status maintenance, package master, package information, tax master, room status master, corporate custom details, other charge master, pay type master, member information master, and change password; single and group reservation and updating status of check in and check out, reporting of various functionalities including raw order report, raw purchase report, buffet report, employee food expense report, raw wastage report, reservation wise amount paid, individual and group amount and check-out collection; and kitchen order transaction. The systems and methods described herein can be utilized for hotel management for auto control of utility to the room based on the guest availability, guest’ prepayment availability, and track check in and check out of guest, and also availability of vacant room and occupied room.
In some example embodiments, the system for hotel management comprises of an interface device for example a monitor, a server for example a CPU, a database in the server, an application in the server, wired and/or wireless network for example a wi-fi router, a master controller connected to the server via wireless network, a slave controller for each floor of the hotel, a power supply, a power supply control, wherein the application is configured to receive input signal from the card holder and or key tag and/or utility devices of the room, control the master control based on the input signal to activate the power supply and/or utility devices of the room, perform various functionalities of hotel management and/or operation, track the real time activity of the room based on the status of card holder and or key tag and/or utility devices, store the real time activity of the room in to the database, and transmit the real time activity report of the room to the hotel manager and/or hotel owner via email and/or SMS and/o API mobile application notifications to the mobile device.
In some example embodiments, the guest can swipe and/or enter and/or remove the guest card in/from the card holder and or key tag provided in the room, and accordingly, the server (for example CPU) may receive the input signal from the card holder and or key tag via wired and/or wireless network. Based on the card holder and/or key tag ON status and/or other utility devices (for example intercom/master control), the application is configured to activate the master controller for the respective room, which in-turn activate the slave controller for the respective room, thereby power supply is supplied to the respective room and/or one or more utility devices are activated. Further, the application is configured to store to the server, the check in details such as check in time, guest name, guest’s available amount amount with the hotel.
In some example embodiments, as soon as the guest check out, the card holder and or key tag status goes OFF, and accordingly the server (for example CPU) may receive the input signal from the card holder and/or key tag via wired and/or wireless network. Based on the card holder and or key tag OFF status, the application may deactivate the master controller for the respective room, which in-turn deactivate the slave controller for the respective room, thereby power supply is stopped to the respective room and/or one or more utility devices are deactivated. Further, the application may store in to the server, the check out details including check out time, guest name, guest’s available balance amount with the hotel. The real time activity of the room may be displayed on the interface device (for example computer monitor), and also transmit the real time activity of the room to the hotel manager and/or hotel owner via email or SMS and/or API mobile application notifications to the mobile device. Further, based on the input received from the key panel of all rooms, and card holder and or key tag status of all rooms, the application may detect the unauthorised entry in the room.

It should be understood, however, that the following descriptions, while indicating preferred embodiments and numerous specific details thereof, are given by way of illustration and not of limitation. Many changes and modifications may be made within the scope of the embodiments herein without departing from the spirit thereof, and the embodiments herein include all such modifications.

Detailed Description of The Preferred Embodiments
The embodiments herein and the various features and advantageous details thereof are explained more fully with reference to the non-limiting embodiments and detailed in the following description. Descriptions of well-known components and processing techniques are omitted so as to not unnecessarily obscure the embodiments herein. The examples used herein are intended merely to facilitate an understanding of ways in which the embodiments herein may be practiced and to further enable those of skill in the art to practice the embodiments herein. Accordingly, the examples should not be construed as limiting the scope of the embodiments herein.
As mentioned above, there remains a need for a customer aggregation fleet management system. The embodiments herein achieve this by providing an architecture for implementing a system and methods which can enable to track the checkin and check out using the guest card to insert and/or remove and/or swipe the guest card in the card holder [can also be referred as key tag] and also track, record and transmit the real time activity of the room though email and/or SMS and/or API mobile application notifications. Referring now to drawings, and more particularly to FIGS. 1 through 2, where similar reference characters denote corresponding features consistently throughout the figures, there are shown preferred embodiments. As used herein, the term "and/or," when used in a list of two or more items, means that any one of the listed items can be employed by itself, or any combination of two or more of the listed items can be employed.
In some example embodiments, methods and systems for hotel management can be utilized for for various functionality of hotels booking such as easy login and unique id for all users of the system; master settings includes room rate information, room status maintenance, package master, package information, tax master, room status master, corporate customer details, other charge master, pay type master, member information master, and change password; single and group reservation and updating status of check in and check-out, reporting of various functionalities including raw order report, raw purchase report, buffet report, employee food expense report, raw wastage report, reservation wise amount paid, individual and group amount and check-out collection; and kitchen order transaction. The systems and methods described herein can be utilized for hotel management for auto control of utility to the room based on the guest availability, guest’ prepayment availability, and track check-in and check-out of guest, and also availability of vacant room and occupied room.
In some example embodiments, the system for hotel management comprises of an interface device for example a monitor, a server, for example a CPU, a database in the server, wired & wireless network for example a wi-fi router, a master controller connected to the server via wired & wireless network, a slave controller for each floor of the hotel, a power supply, a power supply control, wherein the slave controller is connected to a card holder and utility devices (for example intercom/master control) provided in the room.
According to an embodiment, the system’s user can include a guest, hotel owner, hotel manager, hotel administrator, hotel staff, and system administrator.
Fig. 1 illustrates a sample network environment for implementing system and methods of hotel management, according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in Figure 1, the network environment 100 may include an interface device 101, a server 102,, a wireless network 103, a power supply 104, a power supply controller 105, a master controller 106, a slave controller 107 for each room of the hotel, and a card holder and/or a key tag and utility devices 108 in the room. According to an embodiment, the server 102 may include database and an application, wherein the application is configured to receive input signal from the card holder and or key tag and/or utility devices of the room, control the master control based on the input signal to activate the power supply and/or utility devices of the room, perform various functionalities of hotel management and/or operation, track the real time activity of the room based on the status of card holder and or key tag and/or utility devices, store the real time activity of the room in to the database, and transmit the real time activity report of the room to the hotel manager and/or hotel owner via email and/or SMS and/or API Mobile applications notifications to the mobile device 109.
The database may be utilized to store data processed by the application. The database can also store data/information related to various users who are the parties to the system. The interface devices 101 including web portals to facilitate transmitting and receiving data over the wireless or wired network 103. The interface device 105 can permit the users interact with the application provided in the server 102.
The diagrammatic representation of the interface device 101 and server 102 in the form of a computing system or handheld computing system, within which a set of instructions for causing the application to perform any one or more of the methods described herein may be executed. In various example embodiments, the device and server operate as a standalone device or may be connected (e.g., networked) to other devices. In a networked deployment, the server may operate in a server-client network environment, or as a peer device in a peer-to-peer (or distributed) network environment. The interface device 101 can include but not limited to mobile telephone, tablet, laptop, personal digital assistant (PDA), smart phone, a web appliance, or any device capable of executing a set of instructions (sequential or otherwise) that specify actions to be taken by that device. Further, while only a single device is illustrated, the term "device" shall also be taken to include any collection of devices that individually or jointly execute a set (or multiple sets) of instructions to perform any one or more of the methods discussed herein.
The application can be utilized to process of registration, booking, tracking, and storing of real time room activity details. The instructions or commands may further be transmitted or received over a network 103 via the interface device 101 utilizing any of the transfer protocols (e.g., Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP). The example embodiments described herein may be implemented in an operating environment comprising software installed on the interface device 101, in hardware, or in a combination of software and hardware.
In one embodiment, the booking details can get uploaded in to the server 102 with an interface device 101 through the input devices. Based on the user request, the server 101 can send the details related to the various functionalities of hotel managements to the user.
In accordance with an embodiment, Fig. 2 illustrates a schematic block diagram 200 of system architecture for implementing systems and methods of hotel management of plurality of rooms in the hotel. In an example embodiment, the guest can swipe and/or enter and/or remove the guest card in/from the card holder and/or key tag provided in the room, and accordingly, the server (for example CPU) 102 may receive the input signal from the card holder and/or key tag via wired or wireless network 103. Based on the card holder and or key tag ON status and/or other utility devices (for example intercom), the application is configured to activate the master controller 106 for the respective room, which in-turn activate the slave controller 107 for the respective room, thereby power supply is supplied to the respective room and/or one or more utility devices of the respective room are activated. Further, the application is configured to store the check in details to the server 102, such as check in time, guest name, guest’s available prepaid amount with the hotel.
In additional example embodiment, as soon as the guest check out, the card holder and or key tag status goes OFF, and accordingly the server (for example CPU) 102 may receive the input signal from the card holder and/or key tag via wireless or wired network 103. Based on the card holder and or key tag OFF status, the application is configured to deactivate the master controller 106 for the respective room, which in-turn deactivate the slave controller 107 for the respective room, thereby power supply is stopped to the respective room and/or one or more utility devices of the respective room are deactivated. Further, the application is configured to store the check out details in to the server 102 such as check out time, guest name, guest’s available balance amount with the hotel. The real time activity of the room may be displayed on the interface device 101 (for example computer monitor), and also transmit the real time activity of the room to the hotel manager and/or hotel owner via email or SMS and/or API mobile application notifications to the mobile device 109. Further, based on the input received from the key panel of all rooms, and card holder and or key tag status of all rooms, the application may detect the unauthorised entry in the room.
According to present invention, the main advantage of the system and methods provides automatic control of activating or deactivating the room power supply and/or the utility devices provided in the room. Another advantage is that the hotel management system enables to track, record and transmit the real time activity of the room.
