[0002] Iron box is an important appliance modern household articles are considered. The growth of irons in India is led by an increasing number of residential units and other construction activities are coupled with rising per capital disposable income. Burns from domestic irons are potentially preventable injuries that can result in significant morbidity. As per records children are the ones who have mostly met with accidents.

[0003] Through variety of iron boxes exists in the market, there is still a need for designing a user- friendly especially children-friendly iron boxes that are less prone to electrocutions and electric shocks. The most important aspect here is to avoid the plugging of an iron box directly into the electric socket. Thus, the research gap identified is to design a shockproof iron box, that operates with the help of rechargeable batteries.

[0004] A number of different types of smart Iron Boxes and cloth pressers that are known in the prior art. For example, the following patents are provided for their supportive teachings and are all incorporated by reference.

[0005] WO2010130222A1 An intelligent electric iron comprises an iron unit that includes a main body and a controller capable of controlling steam discharge or shut-off. The main body includes a handle. The controller is mounted inside the main body. The main body is provided thereon with a first detector capable of detecting whether the user is holding the handle. The first detector is communicated with the controller by signals. Because the first detector is capable of detecting whether the user is holding the handle, the controller can determine whether discharging or shutting off steam based on the detecting result, so that the mis operation can be prevented.

[0006] US7546701B2 An improved electric clothes iron comprises a water tank, chassis, handle, electrically heated soleplate, and steam chamber. The improvement, in one instance, includes heel and toe lifting pistons which are embedded in the soleplate and driven by an electric motor. A grip sensor in the handle triggers the lift piston motor to operate when the user is no longer gripping the handle. The lifting pistons are quickly retracted if the user grabs the handle again. The heated soleplate can be automatically turned off if the iron is left idle for too long.

[0007] US7681342B2 A cordless ironing apparatus includes an iron and an ironing board adapted to be used with the iron. The iron includes a soleplate. The ironing board includes an ironing surface on which fabric is placed and an electromagnetic generator. The electromagnetic generator is adapted to generate an electromagnetic field that generates heat in the soleplate of the iron. Alternatively, the ironing apparatus includes iron and an induction device that is removable or separate from an ironing board. The induction device includes an electromagnetic generator which is adapted to generate an electromagnetic field that generates heat in the soleplate of the iron.

[0008] The proposed invention is a smart and wireless iron box that is operated by using rechargeable batteries. The batteries are charged using a charging stand that can be connected to the power socket. Once batteries are charged, they are inserted into the battery port of the iron box, and the switch is pressed to on the operation. LED lights are used for the purpose of indications. The main advantages are the iron box is wireless and free from direct connection with electric current.
