Claims:WE CLAIM:

1. A handheld device having integrated liquid soap dispenser and body scrub comprises:
a receptacle to store a volume of liquid soap;
a soap-dispensing scroll wheel at the top of said device;
a plurality of retractable bristles positionedat the bottom of said device;
a plurality of scrub ejecting buttons placed at the either sides of said device; and
a means or provision at the bottom of said device for dispensing said volume of liquid soap.

2. The handheld device as claimed in claim 1 further comprising: a filler cap placed at the top of said device and a plurality of finger positioners placed at the either sides of said device.
3. The handheld device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said device has two scrub ejecting buttons.
4. The handheld device as claimed in claim 2, wherein said device has four finger positioners.
5. The handheld device as claimed in claim 1, wherein said means or provision at the bottom of said device dispenses a volume of liquid soap directly on a user or through said bristles or bristle holes.
6. The handheld device as claimed in claim 1, wherein strikingthe said scrub ejecting button on one side ejects a first kind of bristles and the one on the other side ejects the second kind of bristles.
7. A handheld device having integrated liquid soap dispenser and body scrub comprises:
a receptacle to store a volume of liquid soap;
a soap-dispensing scroll wheel at the top of said device;
a plurality of retractable bristles positioned at the bottom of said device;
a plurality of scrub ejecting buttons placed at the either side of said device;
a means or provision at the bottom of said device for dispensing said volume of liquid soap; and
a filler cap and a plurality of finger positioners placed at the top of said device.

8. The handheld device as claimed in claim 7, wherein said means or provision at the bottom of said device dispenses said volume of liquid soap directly on a user or through said bristles.

9. The handheld device as claim in claim 7, wherein said device has two scrub ejecting buttons and four finger positioners.

, Description:Field of Invention:
The present embodiment relates to devices in the area of liquid soap dispensers integrated with a body scrub, and more particularly to a device having integrated liquid soap dispenser and body scrub in which the bristles of the scrub are retractable.

Background of Invention:

Scrub or scrub brushes are commonly used items in bathing. Generally, the scrub is rubbed on the body after applying soap on the body, and as such is meant to enhance cleansing effect of the soap. Conventionally, scrubs or the scrub brushes are sold independent of the soaps and scrub brushes are generally kept on a counter top, in a dish, hung on a hook or on neck of a faucet. Thus, they take up space and are mostly unsightly.

To use liquid soap with a scrub brush, a user generally deposits the liquid soap either on his/her hands or on the scrub brushes bristles directly. In both cases, the liquid soap is not evenly distributed across the outer ends of the scrub brush bristles. This negatively affects the efficiency of the disinfecting and cleaning ability of the scrub brush, and can also unnecessarily waste liquid soap. Since the liquid soap smoothens the action of bristles of the scrub brush against the body, it is common to get bruises due to uneven distribution of the liquid soap on the bristles.

After use, the scrub brushes are generally replaced to the counter top, or in a dish or to the hook. In this case the scrub brush is just kept on a counter top, the bristles of the brush are usually placed in contact with a surface; this orientation often results in the development of a puddle of water around the brush bristles. The puddle often does not allow the brush to dry completely and may also facilitate the growth of bacteria.

Although many different integrated liquid soap dispensers and scrub brushes are available, almost all of them have fixed bristles on the scrub portion, and as such the bristles are often exposed and cannot be protected against wear. Moreover, the current integrated liquid soap dispensers and scrub brushes ensure continuous dripping of liquid soap on the bristles, even when not required, either during bath or while kept aside, and as such leads to wastage of the soap.

Accordingly, there remains a need for an integrated soap dispenser and a body scrub that protects the bristles against wear and also reduces wastage of soap.

Summary of Invention:
In an aspect, a handheld device having integrated liquid soap dispenser and body scrub is provided. The device includes a receptacle to store a volume of liquid soap; a soap-dispensing scroll wheel at the top of the device; a plurality of retractable bristles positioned at the bottom of the device; a plurality of scrub ejecting buttons placed at the either side of the device; and a means or provision at the bottom of the device for dispensing the volume of liquid soap.

In another aspect, a handheld device having integrated liquid soap dispenser and body scrub is provided. The handheld device includes: a receptacle to store a volume of liquid soap; a soap-dispensing scroll wheel at the top of the device; a plurality of retractable bristles positioned at the bottom of the device; a plurality of scrub ejecting buttons placed at the either side of the device; a means or provision at the bottom of the device for dispensing the volume of liquid soap; and a filler cap at top of the device and a plurality of finger positioners placed at the either sides of the device.

Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. Before describing the detailed embodiments that are in accordance with the present disclosure, it should be observed that the embodiment reside primarily in combinations arrangement of the system according to an embodiment herein and as exemplified in FIG. 1 through FIG. 3

In the following description, for the purpose of explanation, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the arrangement of the system according to an embodiment herein. It will be apparent, however, to one skilled in the art, that the present embodiment can be practiced without these specific details.In other instances, structures are shown in block diagram form only in order to avoid obscuring the present invention.

As mentioned, there remains a need for an integrated soap dispenser and a body scrub, that prevents scrub bristles from wear and minimises soap wastage, the embodiment herein provide a device having an integrated soap dispenser and a body scrub having a soap dispensing scroll wheel and retractable scrub bristles.

Fig. 1 illustrates a top view 100 of an integrated soap dispenser and a body scrub, according to an embodiment herein. The top view of the integrated soap dispenser 100 and body scrub includes a filler cap 102, a soap-dispensing scroll wheel 104, a plurality of finger positioners 106a and 106b, and a plurality of scrub ejecting buttons 108a and 108b. The filler cap 102may be opened to receive liquid soap to store in a receptacle (not shown in the figure). The soap-dispensing scroll wheel 104 is provided to enable dispensing of soap from the bottom of the device 100 for even distribution on a plurality of bristles placed on the bottom of the device 100. In a preferred, embodiment the device 100 includes two finger positioners, a first finger positioner 106a and a second finger positioner 106b on either side of the device 100. The finger positioners 106a and 106b allow a user to hold the device without touching or grabbing the bottom of the device 100. The finger positioners 106a and 106b are so placed that they can either be handled by either of the hands of the user.In another preferred embodiment, on either side of the device 100, there are provided two scrub ejecting buttons, a first scrub ejecting button 108a to eject the soft bristles scrub and a second scrub ejecting button 108b, to eject the hard bristles scrub (not shown in the figure) positioned at the bottom (not shown in the figure) of the device 100. This makes the bristles retractable and thus protects the bristles against wear when the device 100 is not in use.

Fig. 2 illustrates a side view of the device having integrated soap dispenser and a body scrub, of Fig. 1, according to an embodiment herein. The side view includes the filler cap 102, the soap-dispensing scroll wheel 104, the first finger positioner106a, the first scrub ejecting button 108a, a plurality of bristles 202 and a receptacle 204. The plurality of bristles 202 are retractable and are ejected from the bottom of the device 100 by pressing the first or second scrub ejecting buttons, 108a and 108b to eject the hard or soft bristles. The scrub bristles 202 are retractably attached to the bottom of the receptacle 204 [and thus placed or positioned at the bottom of the device 100].
The device 100 further includes the receptacle 204 to receive a volume of the liquid soap via the filler cap 102. The receptacle 204 has a provision such as nozzle or hole to dispense the liquid soap either directly on the user through a slit or through the bristle holes 204.

Fig. 3 illustrates a perspective view of the device having integrated soap dispenser and a body scrub of Fig. 1, according to an embodiment herein. In a preferred embodiment, there are two kinds, a first kind and a second kind, of bristles in the device 100. In an embodiment, the first and second kind of bristles is soft bristles and hard bristles. In another preferred embodiment, the user may eject either or both kind of bristles through different strokes on the scrub ejecting buttons, 108a and 108b. In yet another preferred embodiment, the front stroke on the scrub ejecting buttons, 108a and 108b, ejects soft bristles; whereas, the back stroke ejects the hard bristles.

In a preferred embodiment, the device is shaped as a computer mouse to provide better grip to the user while bathing. In yet another embodiment, the device may be of cubical or cuboidal in shape. The device offer multiple advantages of dispensing soap as required thereby minimizing wastage of the soap together with retractable bristles or scrub that prevents the bristles from wear. Further, the device allows the use to choose between soft, hard or both kind of bristles while usage. In a preferred embodiment, the device is handheld.
