Soap Manufacturing

Abstract: Aspects for manufacturing soaps are described herein. In an example, a soap manufacturing system (100) comprises an extruder (102) for extruding a continuous soap bar (208) in which a first coloured soap material envelopes a second coloured soap material. The extruder (102) includes primary duct (200) with a primary duct inlet and a primary duct outlet, and a secondary duct (202) with a secondary duct inlet and at least one secondary duct outlet (204). The secondary duct outlet (204) being positioned away from the periphery, with respect to the primary duct (200). Further, the soap manufacturing system (100) comprises a tilting mechanism which rotates soap blocks (306) by a predetermined angle, such that the lateral surface can be stamped.

Specification

Claims:1. A soap manufacturing system (100) for manufacturing soaps, the soap manufacturing system (100) comprising:
an extruder (102) having an orifice (206) for extruding a plurality of soap materials comprising at least a first coloured soap material and a second coloured soap material, the first coloured soap material being at a periphery and the second coloured soap material being away from the periphery of the continuous soap bar (208) when viewed across the cross-section of the continuous soap bar (208);
a cutting machine (104) to cut the continuous soap bar (208) into a plurality of soap blocks (306), each of a predetermined dimension; and
a tilting machine (106) to rotate each of the plurality of soap blocks (306) about an edge by a predetermined angle for stamping each of the plurality of soap blocks (306).

2. The soap manufacturing system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the soap manufacturing system (100) further comprising a stamping machine (108) having a stamper to removes excess first coloured soap material from the periphery of the soap blocks (306) to form soap units (400) of a predetermined shape.

3. The soap manufacturing system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the excess first coloured soap material is directly fed back to the extruder (102) without processing.

4. The soap manufacturing system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the predetermined dimension of each of the soap block (306) is a length of about 100 millimeters.

5. The soap manufacturing system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tilting machine (106) is coupled to a conveyor belt (302), the titling machine (106) comprising a deflector (304) to rotate the soap blocks (306) by the predetermined angle.

6. The soap manufacturing system (100) as claimed in claim 1 the extruder (102) further comprising:
a primary duct (200) with a primary duct inlet and a primary duct outlet, wherein the primary duct (200) is to contain a first coloured soap material; and
a secondary duct (202) with a secondary duct inlet and at least one secondary duct outlet (204), wherein the secondary duct (202) is to carry the second coloured soap material, the secondary duct (202) being enveloped by the primary duct (200) and fluidically isolated from the primary duct (200) until a predefined distance from an outlet of the primary duct, the at least one secondary duct outlet (204) being positioned away from the periphery of the primary duct (200).
7. The soap manufacturing system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein profile of the orifice (206) of the extruder (102) is rectangular in shape with round edges.

8. The soap manufacturing system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the tilting machine (106) rotates each soap blocks (306) by an angle of about 90°.

9. A method for manufacturing soap, the method comprising:
extruding a continuous bar of soap material having a first coloured soap material and a second coloured soap material, wherein the first coloured soap material is at the periphery and the second coloured soap material is away from the periphery of the extruded soap bar (208) when viewed across the cross-section of the continuous soap bar (208);
cutting the continuous soap bar (208) into soap blocks (306) of a predetermined dimension; and
rotating the soap blocks (306) using a tilting machine (106), the soap block (306) being rotated by a predetermined angle for stamping the soap block.

10. The method as claimed in claim 10, the method further comprising stamping the soap blocks (306) using a stamping machine (108) to remove excess first coloured soap material from the periphery of the soap blocks (306) to form soap units (400) of a predetermined shape.

11. The method as claimed in claim 10, the method further comprising cutting the continuous soap bar (208) into predetermined dimension having a length of 100 millimeters.

12. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the tilting machine (106) is coupled to a conveyor belt (302), the tilting machine (106) having a deflector (304) for rotating the soap block (306) about its edge.

13. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the tilting machine (106) rotates each soap blocks (306) by an angle of about 900.

14. The method as claimed in claim 10, wherein the excess first coloured soap

material is directly fed back to the extruder (102) without processing.
