, Description:FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to the packing and safe transportation of solar panels. The invention, particularly relates a packing box with a pallet to minimize the crack development in the solar panel during transportation and the corners of the box is protected with edge board.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
As a globalized industry with still most of production of solar panels taking place in East and Southeast Asia and the largest share of end consumers being geographically distant from the manufacturing origin, these valuable goods must also be shipped over a long distance via ocean. Solar panels reaching the customers broken, cracked, deformed or scratched as a result of improper packaging are not only annoying but also costly. With panels having left the factory in good quality conditions but being damaged on the way, claims and disputes may come up quickly. This brief article is an introduction to solar panel packaging.
Solar panels can be packed in two ways either vertically or horizontally stacked in a box. Usually, separators are used in between the solar panel to avoid cracks and adding an extra protection to the solar panel. In some cases, solar panels are also packed in the individual boxes to finally pack it in the master box or large carton box.
Many solutions are available to minimize the risk of crack or any kind of damages of the solar panel. Some of these are: making the package transparent and clear so that delivery workers can observe the panel and can keep the panel safe, packing the panel vertically to minimize the weight stress to the panel, banding the pallets and securing them with protections and separators between each panel and crating the panels, however it comes with additional costs.
A number of different types of accessories for coloring means are available in prior art. For example, the following patents are provided for their supportive teachings and are all incorporated by reference:
Prior art document, JP2005231704A discloses the method for packaging solar cells comprises the steps of heat-shrink-wrapping a plurality of stacked solar cells by using a heat shrink film, inserting both end sides of the heat-shrink-wrapped body of the stacked solar cells in accommodation parts of a pair of packing members each having one or more slit-like accommodation parts in positions opposite to each other and constituting a cushioning container, sandwiching the wrapped body of the stacked solar cells between the packing members to form a packed body and packaging the packed body. However the prior art document is not using a stack below the packing box for safe transportation of the solar panel.

However, this prior art document is expensive to install. However the prior art document is not discloses any safety at the corners of the panel box for the protection of solar panel.
Yet another prior art document, JP5241285B2discloses an invention relates to packaging case for packaging a plurality of solar cell elements. Conventionally, as a technique for packaging the solar cell element, there is to be inserted placing solar cell elements on a plurality superposition container opening formed it into container. And the element assembly in which a plurality of solar cell elements are stacked. It said support is a sheet-like member, is hooked to the hook portion and curved surface facing the bottom side of the element assembly with is separated from the bottom portion, the convex part of the device assembly so as to face the surface of the side to the one side surface of said recess, for supporting the solar cell element assembly, package of the solar cell element. However the prior art document is not discloses any safety protection for the transportation of solar panels.
Yet another prior art document, CN101156249Adiscloses a method of packing a solar cell element, comprising: a first packing step of packing the first step with a heat-shrinkable film covering a plurality of stacked solar cell element; a first heating step, the a first heating step of heating the heat-shrinkable film, said solar cell element is fixed as the aggregate; a second packing step, the second step of the packing assembly is inserted into an opening portion having and the holding portion of the assembly opening of the container. When packing operation so as to provide transportation can be suppressed and a solar cell element packing solar cell element cracks and gaps, and capable of simple bale packing body. However the prior art document is not discloses any safety protection in panel box for the transportation of solar panels.
Yet another prior art document, JP2005153888Adiscloses a casing which is composed of a packing casing and a wooden pallet for supporting the packing casing. The packing casing and the wooden pallet are tightened crosswise with a plurality of tightening bands and a plurality of tightening bands in the lengthwise direction. The packing casing has a plurality of upper side dividers and a plurality of lower side dividers. The adjoining two upper side dividers and the adjoining two lower side dividers are effective for smoothly inserting a unit solar cell panel P in the horizontal direction. The solar cell panels are stably protected by preventing them from twisting during the assembly of the packing casing and during transportation. The packing casing is foldable and the materials are reused. However the prior art document is not using a stack below the packing box for safe transportation of the solar panel.
Yet another prior art document, CN205574363Udiscloses a packing box for photovoltaic solar energy component, through the frame that adopts stuff shaping packing box, the packing is convenient, can realize convenient operation on existing equipment unchangeable basis, satisfies production shipment progress, avoids leading to the fact the subassembly to pile up. With a plurality of triangle shaped structures of the inside share of rectangular frame structure, utilize triangle shaped stable structure to save materials through setting up the reinforcing plate on guaranteeing safe and reliable basis, the cost is relatively low than the wooden case, is less than the carton cost even, effectively reduces package cost. In addition, through being higher than the curb plate subassembly setting, folding a plurality of package assembly when holding in the palm, the weight of top subassembly is equally divide in the top and the layering cooperation of curb plate, greatly reduced the stress of subassembly section bar warp, has reduced and time has ask the latent of subassembly to split, guarantee the subassembly quality. However the prior art document is has discloses the box with less capacity and less protection.
However, above mentioned references and many other similar references has one or more of the following shortcomings: (a) Less protective; (b) Complex structure; (c) Expensive; (d) Less capacity; (e) Cannot be used in variable sizes; and (f) safety pallet is not used for panel protection.
The present application addresses the above mentioned concerns and shortcomings (and other similar concerns/shortcomings) with regard to providing a solar panel packaging box.
