Abstract: The present innovation relates to devices for producing heating effect by providing electrical power to heating coils, utilising battery that is charged by solar panel.The device consists of solar powered thermal jacket with cotton padded outer layer and inner layer woven with aluminium fabric, waistband, electric heating coils,On /Off switch, thermostat, indicator LEDs,power bank and solar panel.

A solar powered thermal jacket, consisting of - A two layered jacket with a cotton padded outer layer and an inner layer woven with aluminium fabric, - A waistband, - Electric heating coils embedded between inner and outer layer, - On /Off switch, - Thermostat, - Three indicator LEDs, - A batteryand - Solar panel.
2. The aforementioned (claim 1) jacket is characterized by heating with the help of electric heating coils that are embedded between inner and outer layers, with the conductor being implanted within composite fiber material.
3. The aforementioned (claims 1 and 2) jacket includes a power bankthat provides electricity to the coils.
4. The aforementioned (claims 1,2 and 3) jacketconsists ofan ON / OFFswitch for activation of circuit.
5. The aforementioned (claims 1,2,3 and 4) jacketcomprises a thermostat where in the thermostat allows three stage temperature control: high, medium and low, actuated by the ON / OFF switch.
6. The aforementioned (claims 1,2,3,4and 5) jacket includes three LED bulbs to indicate operating temperature level: red, blue and green for high, medium and low temperature ranges, respectively.

The battery is charged by solar panel located in the back of the jacket. There is an on/off switch on the upper front section of the jacket. The switch activates the circuit leading to flow of electric charge through the heating coils. The heating coils are placed in between the fabric of the jacket and an aluminium fabric as a measure of safety. The aluminium fabric also helps the heat to spread evenly throughout the jacket. The temperature is controlled by a temperature controller or thermostat and associated sensors that are connected to it. The jacket temperature can be controlled for three levels: low, medium and high, indication for which is provided by three LEDs attached to the thermostat.
