Abstract: The disclosed sound field control device is equipped with: a positional information acquisition unit for obtaining positional information on a viewer/listener from information that is obtained by means of imaging; and a virtual sound source position control unit for controlling the position of a virtual sound source on the basis of the positional information. Consequently reproduction of the virtual sound source can be optimally adjusted taking into consideration a size and an orientation of the head. Thus a sound field that does not cause any strange feeling can be provided to the viewer/listener.
