"Space Optical System Comprising Means Of Active Control Of The Optics"

Abstract: The invention relates to an optical space observation system comprising a primary mirror, a secondary mirror (4), a supporting base (1) containing the primary mirror, on which a mechanical structure (2) bearing a support (3) of the secondary mirror (4) is positioned, and an optical measurement means, said mechanical structure (2) comprising a plurality of mechanical arms (21-26). The system also has a system (5) comprising a plurality of actuators (51-56) positioned on the supporting base (1), said actuators being connected to the lower ends of said mechanical arms (21-26) and the upper ends of said mechanical arms being connected to the support (3) of the secondary mirror on the periphery of the support. The invention is a space telescope intended to be loaded in a launcher and put into orbit. The invention is intended in particular for a telescope having a deployable secondary mirror and means for active control of the optics. Figure 2
