Special Uniform For Indo Tibetan Border Police For Tropical Areas

Abstract: The Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) plays a vital role in maintaining the security and integrity of the borders in challenging tropical areas. However, the adverse climatic conditions and environmental factors often pose significant risks and discomfort to the personnel, hampering their effectiveness in fulfilling their duties. To address these challenges, a special uniform has been developed specifically for ITBP personnel deployed in tropical areas, aiming to enhance their safety, well-being, and overall operational efficiency. The special uniform incorporates innovative design elements and advanced materials to mitigate the harm caused by tropical conditions. Extensive research and development efforts have resulted in a lightweight and breathable fabric that provides optimal ventilation and moisture management. This fabric not only helps in regulating body temperature but also minimizes the risk of heat-related illnesses such as heatstroke and dehydration. To ensure comfort and ease of movement, the uniform incorporates ergonomic design elements. Additionally, the special uniform emphasizes functional utility by incorporating multiple pockets, specialized compartments, and modular attachments to accommodate essential equipment and gear. This promotes efficiency and quick access to critical resources during operational deployments, enabling ITBP personnel to carry out their duties effectively. In conclusion, the development of a special uniform for ITBP personnel in tropical areas represents a significant advancement in safeguarding their safety and well-being. By addressing the challenges posed by adverse climatic conditions, this uniform enhances operational effectiveness and minimizes the risks associated. Through ongoing research, testing, and user feedback, this specialized uniform can continue to evolve and adapt, ensuring that ITBP personnel are equipped with the best possible protective gear to fulfil their crucial responsibilities in tropical border areas. The proposed method should, therefore, be implemented in real life.

Specification

Description:[002]. Special Uniform for Tropical Areas ITBP troops are deployed in ANO areas where troops face harsh weather, mostly high temperature, mosquito and snakes. Some technology in field of clothing or equipment needs to be explored to address this problem which can rectify this problem or suppress the harm.
[003]. Special Uniform for High Altitude Areas ITBP troops are deployed in areas where temperature dips down to -40°C, in such areas troops face high altitude diseases i.e., frostbite, chilblain, loss of appetite, nausea, headache, etc. Latest technology in military clothing needs to explore to overcome this problem or suppress impact of such adverse weather on human body. Care should also be taken in weight & volume of the clothing so that operational activities may be carried out without any hindrance.
[004]. Special Uniform for Normal Areas ITBP troops are also deployed in IS duties but uniform is same for all areas. Suitable clothing should be developed which is durable, flexible, lightweight, and adjustable to all weather.
[005]. The cost of DRDO/DEBEL uniform is one lakh. The problems associated with them are Heating Tapes and Aluminum, Polyester, Polyurethane, Duck filler, Provides only heating no cooling, Very Bulky, Not flexible, Short circuiting, Expensive, Imported from China, Heavy, Works for heating
[006]. The cost of Dhama Innovation is INR 5000. The problems associated with it is the fabric is Polyester, Polyurethane. The methodology used is H Bridge, TEC (Peltier Effect) in series/parallel, Li Polymer, TEC Modules are directly in contact with skin, Costly, Scalability is a problem, Generic Battery Problem, Heavy an manufactured in the Year 2010
[007]. The cost of Project Hexagon is approximately 15,000. The fabric used is Graphene Composite(No Multilayer, Honeycomb Structure), Abrasion fabric. The features are AI/ML, Thermistor, Inbuilt Pocket, Straw to drink water, No Cooling, High cost, Battery makes use of wifi & Bluetooth, No battery used, Wind & Water Resistant, Light weight, Anti-microbial, GUI to regulate temp, Emergency SOS. Its used between the years of 2010-2019
[008]. The cost of Bhiwani is approximately 15,000. Half sleeved, Polyester, Polyurethane, Multi Layered. TEC-TEG, Not washable, High Cost, No Scalability, Inefficient generation by TEGs No battery, Light weight. It was used in the year 2017
[009]. The solution for Tropical Areas : clothing in high temperature is of the heating and cooling lies on the example of biomimicry where in the innovations and inventions are inspired from the nature. It’s a derivative of human blood circulatory system. It works on the principle of convection current where in the hot fluid replacing the cold fluid. The effect of that is achieved by Peltier effect which circulates the heatless and coldness across the body on the ribcage model. In this we use a temperature sensor to module the heat and cold process such that the system is automated.
[0010]. The solution for Tropical Areas : Mosquito is choosing a fabric of Velvet for strong protection. Mosquitoes have six sharp, long mouthparts that can pierce lightweight fabrics as easily as they do skin. These mouthparts are known as the proboscis. Fabrics such as gauze or spandex, voile is of poor protection that can easily be penetrated by a mosquito’s proboscis, allowing them to siphon off your blood while they inject you with saliva. Fabrics like gingham, medium-weight cottons, polyester, silk cotton blends provides medium protection.
[0011]. The solution for Tropical Areas : Snake bites, UHMWP is an excellent choice for many industrial applications. It reduces noise and vibration, is chemical-resistant and non-toxic and offers excellent mechanical properties even in cryogenic conditions. Characteristics include Non-toxic, Low coefficient of friction Corrosion, abrasion, wear and impact resistant Extremely low water absorption FDA and USDA approved. Manufacturers in India
[0012]. The solution for High Altitude Frostbite is ultrasonic transducers with piezoelectric elements suitable for operation at temperatures higher than of the most commercially available transducers, i.e., 150 °C. The main types of the ultrasonic transducers that are discussed are the transducers with thin protectors, which may serve as matching layers, transducers with high temperature delay lines, wedges, and waveguide type transducers. The piezoelectric materials suitable for high temperature applications such as aluminum nitride, lithium niobate, gallium orthophosphate, bismuth titanate, oxyborate crystals, lead metaniobate, and other piezoceramics are analyzed.
[0013]. For Normal Areas Clothing, which is durable, flexible, lightweight, and adjustable to all weather. Weight with Circuitry (Jacket) = 2Kgs. Weight with Circuitry (Trouser) = 1.8 Kgs. Weight Without the Circuitry (Suit) = 3.8 kgs. Adjustable in all Weathers: The Circuitry in the Jacket can be removed as its detachable.
[0014]. The solution for Sweat absorption is Viscous Cotton. If you're looking for a durable and affordable material with rich colors, then viscose is definitely a good choice. It withstands everyday use, drapes well, and feels soft to touch.
[0015]. Electrical Calculations include Motor: Voltage - 12V, Current - 2A, Power - 24W, TEC Module - 12V, Current - 2A, Power - 24W, Usage 1 Motor Module: 24W, Usage of 2 TEC Module: 48W. Total Power Consumption: 72Watts.
