Speedometer For Two Wheeled Vehicle
Abstract: The present invention is a speedometer (2) of a two-wheeled vehicle (7) with a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) interface to respond to calls received while driving. The Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) (5) is connected to the vehicle (7) through a wireless communication protocol detects the incoming calls. The caller details are transmitted to the speedometer (2) mounted on the vehicle (7). The speedometer (2) displays the caller information (9), and the rider (6) can choose to attend or disconnect the call by operating buttons or switches (4, 10). If the rider (6) disconnects the call, the PDA (5) forwards a previously stored message stating that the rider (6) is driving. If the rider (6) chooses to attend the call, the PDA (5) connects the call to speak through hands-free microphone and speakers. The invention can be applied to any two-wheeled or three-wheeled vehicles with easy implementation and low cost.
