Abstract: ABSTRACT SPINNING MACHINE In the spinning machine, a yarn accumulation device 23 is located in a yarn path between a spinning device 22 and a winding device 25. A suction device 24 can suction the spun yarn 5 downstream of the yarn accumulation device 23. A yarn release lever 55 can change the yarn path. The yarn accumulation device 23 has a yarn accumulation roller 51 and a yarn engaging member 53. After the spun yarn 5 is disconnected between the spinning device 22 and the yarn accumulation device 23, with the spun yarn 5 remaining on the yarn accumulation roller 51 and with the yarn accumulation roller 51 rotating, the yarn release lever 55 moves to the yarn release position P2. While the yarn accumulation roller 51 is rotating and the yarn release lever 55 is at the yarn release position P2, the suction device 24 is in a suction state. [Selected drawing] FIG. 4.
