PREAMBLE TO THE DESCRIPTION
The following specification particularly describes the invention and the manner in which
it is to be performed.

FIELD OF INVENTION:
The present invention relates to bullet proof vehicles and more particularly it relates to split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION:
Generally bullet proof vehicles are used by army and security forces to protect the drivers and other occupants by bullet proof steel sheet and bullet proof glass placed all around the vehicle body. But for radiator, in the front side of the vehicle, cannot be made up of flat steel sheet because sufficient amount of air flow is must for the radiator as well as for the engine to work properly. So grill type protection is normally required for the radiator front which allows air to flow but resist any projectile to pass through especially bullets. But this type of constructions suffers one major drawback is that by virtue of its construction, it becomes very heavy which poses a big problem for regular routine maintenance and checking of the radiator coolant and engine oil.
OBJECT OF INVENTION:
The main object of the present invention is to provide split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles.
Another object of the present invention is to provide split type bullet proof radiator
grill assembly for vehicles which is simple in construction and easy to operate for
maintenances.
Yet another object of the present invention is to provide split type bullet proof
radiator grill assembly for vehicles which facilitates ease in checking radiator
coolant and engine oil.

STATEMENT OF INVENTION:
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles comprises; radiator grill portions splited in to at least two halves comprising lower radiator grill portion mounted to the front structure frame of the vehicles and upper radiator grill portion mounted on said front structure frame of the vehicles, wherein at least one of said radiator grill portions are movably mounted on the said front structure frame through fulcrum means which facilitates said radiator grill portions to be opened by rotating about said fulcrum means , said fulcrum means comprises first hinge portion with hole provided therein connected with said front structure frame and second hinge portion with hole provided therein connected to the said radiator grill, and pin member which is inserted vertically in upright direction in to said holes of said first and second hinge portions, fins are configured to be fitted in to the front structure frame of the vehicles.
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles, in accordance with this invention, wherein said lower radiator grill portion is detachably mounted through at least four brackets to the said front structure frame of the vehicles.
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles, in accordance with this invention, wherein said brackets fixedly connected to the said radiator grill and detachably mounted to the said front structure frame.
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles, in accordance with this invention, wherein said upper radiator grill portion at one end connected to the said fulcrum means which can be opened by rotating it about said fulcrum means.

Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles, in accordance with this invention, wherein said upper radiator grill portion at other end comprises locking means provided on said front structure frame of vehicle for locking said radiator grill in closed position.
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles, in accordance with this invention, wherein material selected for said radiator grills and fins is bullet proof materials.
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles, in accordance with this invention, wherein said bullet proof material selected for said radiator grill is at least 8mm thickness armored steel sheet.
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles, in accordance with this invention, wherein said bullet proof material selected for said fins is at least 6.5 mm thickness armored steel sheet.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION:
Split type bullet proof radiator grill assembly for vehicles comprises; radiator grill mounted on the front structure frame of vehicles, fins fitted on said front structure frame of vehicle wherein said grill is splited in to at least two halves which comprises lower portions of said grill which is connected with the frame of vehicles and upper or top portions which is connected to the hinge portions at its one end and is operable through hinge mountings which in turn is connected to the said frame of vehicle and other end of said top portion of said grill comprises locking means to lock the said grill. Said upper portion of said radiator grill is connected to the front structure frame of vehicles through fulcrum means which

facilitates top portion of the said radiator grill assembly to be opened by turning or rotating about said fulcrum means for the maintenances works. Lower portions or bottom portion of said radiator grill is mounted to front structure of vehicles with at least four brackets. The said brackets are welded with the radiator grill and nut bolted with the said front structure of the vehicles so that it can be easily removed when required for elaborate maintenance of engine components and radiator.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS
Figure-1 shows the front view the lower portion and top portion of said radiator grill in closed position to be fitted on the front of the vehicle structure. Figure-2 shows the hinge portions with fulcrum means.
Figure-3 shows the top portions of the radiator grill which can be opened about the said fulcrum means.
