The foregoing objects of the present invention are accomplished and the problems and shortcomings associated with the prior art, techniques and approaches are overcome by the present invention as described below in the preferred embodiment.
The present invention relates to a personalized desktop computer having a central processing unit in the shape of an automobile. The central processing unit is a scale down of actual automobiles. The central processing unit is aesthetically appealing and used for brand promotion of the automobiles.
Referring to figures 1, 2 and 3 shows various views of a central processing unit (herein after referred as CPU (100)) of a personalized desktop computer in a shape of an automobile. The CPU (100) includes a chassis (10), a front bumper (12), head lights (14a & 14b), parking lights (16a & 16b), a rear bumper (18), a pair of front wheels (20a & 20b), a pair of rear wheels (22a & 22b), a coolin fan, for example the CPU (100) is shown to include one cooling fan (24), a body (26), logo (28) and tail light (30a& 30b).
Figure 3 shows a perspective view of the chassis (10) of the CPU (100). The chassis (10) is configured from steel sheet about 0.030 to 1.070 inches in thickness. The chassis (10) includes brackets (101) welded thereon. Each bracket (101) includes attaching means for attaching the rear bumper (18), a front bumper (12), a digital versatile disc (herein after referred as DVD) drive (102), a motherboard (104), hard disc (106) of the CPU (100), main body (26), and the cooling fan (24). Further, a connector plate assembly (107) with top and bottom plates(herein after referred as Connector plate assembly) (107)) is secured to the

chassis (10). The connector plate assembly (107) enables in attaching the connectors on rear bumper (18). The DVD drive (102) is secured on the front portion (10a) of the chassis (10) (Refer figure 5). Moreover, DVD drive mounting brackets (103) are used to secure the DVD drive (102) on the chassis (10). In an embodiment, the chassis (10) includes an opening (10d) at a bottom portion for connecting external plug-in directly in to the motherboard (104).
Further, the mother board (104) is secured centrally on the chassis (10). Further, the hard disc (106) is secured below the DVD drive. The front bumper (12) is secured at the front end portion (10b) of the chassis (10). The chassis (10) also includes wheel flanges (105a, 105b, 105c & 105d). In an embodiment, the chassis (10) and wheel flanges (105a, 105b, 105c & 105a) are configured from a single plate which is cut in a defined shape (as shown in figure 6). The extended portions are folded to configure wheel flanges (I05a, 105b, 105c & 105d). Upon securing the front wheels (20a & 20b), and the pair of rear wheels (22a & 22b) with the wheel flanges (105a, 105b, 105c & 105d) of the chassis (10), lifting the chassis (10) above a surface ('A'). In an embodiment, the pair of front wheels (20a & 20b), and the pair of rear wheels (22a & 22b) includes means for attaching speaker thereby eliminating the heed of external speakers. More particularly, the pair of front wheels (20a & 20b), 20d the pair of rear wheels (22a & 22b) have an extended standoff on wheel flange that is used to slide the wheels as well the speaker body over it. Further, there are two or more holes on each side of these standoffs on each of the wheel flange. The wheels have pins which entered this hole and locks the wheels in place and prevent rotation of the wheels thus subsequently the CPU unit which could be a potential safety hazard if the CPU is allowed to move like a vehicle on the surface. The surface is a surface of a table or other similar surfaces were the CUP (100) may be mounted and which may be obvious to a person skilled in the art. The front bumper (12) is secured to the front end portion (10b) of . the chassis (10).

Referring again to figure 1, 2 and 3, the front bumper (12) includes openings for accommodating head lights (14a & I4b), ventilation grill (17), and parking light (15a & 15b) and DVD drive opening (102a). In an embodiment, a portion of the front bumper (12) is cut to provide opening for sliding member (102b) of the DVD drive (102). Further, a component similar to the cut portion is manufactured with less tolerance and secured to a slid-out member (102b) of the DVD drive (102). Upon sliding in sliding member (102b) of the DVD drive (102) resembles like an actual bumper. In another embodiment, the DVD drive (102) is suck-in type of DVD drive. The DVD is inserted in the DVD drive opening (102a)
Further, the cooling fan (24) is mounted in the rear.. In an embodiment, front grill or air-intake duct (134) in the front acts as ventilator for the air intake and the air flows over the mother board (104) and is push out through the louvers by the cooling fan {24). In another embodiment, the mother board (104) is equipped with CPU cooling fan (24) which eliminates the need of additional fan in the front.
Referring back to figure 4, the CPU (100) also includes the Connector plate assembly (107) secured to the rear portion (10c) of the chassis (10). The connector plate assembly (107) is configured with various openings for accommodating various connecting ports. The connector plate assembly (107) is also configured to for secure the rear bumper (18) thereon. The various connecting ports, such as plurality of Universal Serial Bus (herein after referred as USB) ports, for example the CPU (100) is shown to includes four USB ports (112), an Ethernet port (114), a monitor port (118), audio-video and a microphone ports (120a, 120b & 120c), a fire wire port (122), a HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port (124), DVI (Digital Visual Interface) port (126),, and AC/DC power (132).
Further, chassis (10) also enables securing the body (26) thereon. Upon securing the body (26) the CPU (100) resembles an automobile. The logo (28) is configured to perform as a main power switch. Upon moving the logo the power

switch is operated from 'off to 'on' position and from 'on' to 'off position. Moreover, the logo is operated by pressing and releasing the logo (28).
Further, the parking light (16a & 16b) are configured to show the activity of CPU
(100) in standby mode. The tail light (30a & 30b) is configured to show the activity of the hard disc (106). The head lights (I4a & 14b) glows upon starting the CPU (100) and turns 'off automatically thereafter.
The CPU (100) enables in reducing the space required to increase aesthetics of the central processing unit of a personalised desktop. Further, the CPU (100) is a scale down of an actual existing car/automobile in the ratio of 1:10. Furthermore, the CPU (100) is aesthetically appealing and is used for automobile brand promotion.
The foregoing objects of the invention are accomplished and the problems and shortcomings associated with prior art techniques and approaches are overcome by the present invention described in the present embodiment.
Detailed descriptions of the preferred embodiment are provided herein; however, it is to be understood that the present invention may be embodied in various forms. Therefore, specific details disclosed herein are not to be interpreted as limiting, but rather as a basis for the claims and as a representative basis for teaching one skilled in the art to employ the present invention in virtually any appropriately detailed system, structure, or matter.
The embodiments of the invention as described above and the methods disclosed herein will suggest further modification and alterations to those skilled in the art. Such further modifications and alterations may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
