Abstract: Spring Guide Fixture Set for Torsion Testing of Transport Aircraft Springs on Horizontal Spring Tester has been designed and developed which is permanently mounted on the tester and facilitates testing of any Transport Aircraft Torsion Springs in horizontal direction. The simple design of spring guide fixture set will enable testing of variety of Transport Aircraft Torsion springs on Horizontal Spring tester. The Spring guide fixture set is made up of (1) Spring Guide fixture for fixed mounting on Right Hand Side of the horizontal torsion tester and to provide rigidity to the torsion spring during testing, (2) Spring Guide fixture for mounting on Left Hand Side of the horizontal torsion tester and to provide rotary motion to torsion springs for generation of torque in both directions.
