CLIAMS:1. A composition comprising of:
a. at least one anionic surfactant;
b. at least one scrubbing material; and
c. at least one oil,
wherein said composition is a stable liquid scrubbing composition.
2. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein
a. said at least one anionic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of acyl isethionates, sodium cocoyl isethionate, sodium isethionate, sodium lauroyl isethionate, sodium lauroyl methyl isethionate, sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, and the series, sodium alkyl sulfate, alkyl sulfates, anionic acyl sarcosinates, methyl acyl taurates, N-acyl glutamates, acyl isethionates, alkyl ether sulfates, alkyl sulfosuccinates, alkyl phosphate esters, ethoxylated alkyl phosphate esters, trideceth sulfates, protein condensates, mixtures of ethoxylated alkyl sulfates and combinations thereof, wherein alkyl chains for these surfactants are C8-22,
b. said at least one scrubbing material is selected from the group consisting of silica gel, pumice powder, polyethylene beads, and combinations thereof, and
c. said at least one oil is selected from the group consisting of linear and cyclic polydimethylsiloxanes; alkyl, alkylaryl, and aryl silicone oils; fats and oils including natural fats and oils; synthetic mono, di and triglycerides such as myristic acid glyceride and 2-ethylhexanoic acid glyceride; waxes such as carnauba, spermaceti, beeswax, lanolin, and derivatives thereof; hydrophobic plant extracts; hydrocarbons such as liquid paraffin, petrolatum, microcrystalline wax, ceresin, squalene, pristan and mineral oil; higher fatty acids such as lauric, myristic, palmitic, stearic, behenic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic, lanolic, isostearic, arachidonic and poly unsaturated fatty acids (PUFA); esters such as cetyl octanoate, myristyl lactate, cetyl lactate, isopropyl myristate, myristyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, isopropyl adipate, butyl stearate, decyl oleate, essential oils and extracts thereof; and combinations thereof.
3. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein
a. at least one anionic surfactant weight percentage in said composition is in the range of 1.5 to 10%;
b. at least one scrubbing material weight percentage in said composition is in the range of 1 to 15%; and
c. at least one oil weight percentage in said composition is in the range of 0.5 to 8%.
4. The composition as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one scrubbing material is a combination of silica gel, pumice powder, and polyethylene beads.
5. The composition as claimed in claim 4, wherein said silica gel weight percentage in said composition is in the range of 1 to 11%, said pumice powder weight percentage in said composition is in the range of 0.1 to 5%, and said polyethylene beads weight percentage in said composition is in the range of 0.01 to 1.5%.
6. The composition as claimed in claim 1, said composition optionally further comprising of ingredients selected from the group consisting of at least one active, at least one thickening agent, water, at least one humectant, at least one emulsifier, at least one soap, at least one polymer, at least one structurant, at least one electrolyte, at least one pH regulator, at least one pigment, at least one preservative, and combinations thereof.
7. A process for preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 1-6, said process comprising the steps of:
a. mixing at least one oil and at least one emulsifier with at least one humectant and heating at a temperature in the range of 55 to 65°C under stirring for a time period of 10 to 15 minutes to obtain a first mixture,
b. adding at least one anionic surfactant to the first mixture at a temperature in the range of 55 to 65°C for 10 to 15 minutes to obtain a second mixture;
c. contacting hot water having a temperature of 55-65°C with the second mixture to obtain a second mixture solution;
d. dispersing at least one thickening agent in at least one humectant, and at least one polymer to obtain a thickened dispersion;
e. adding the thickened dispersion to the second mixture solution and mixing it for a time period of 10 to 15 minutes at a temperature in the range of 55 to 65°C to obtain a third mixture; and
f. contacting at least one scrubbing material with the third mixture and mixing for 20 to 25 minutes at a temperature in the range of 55 to 65°C to obtain said composition.
8. A composition comprising of:
a. xanthan gum;
b. corn starch;
c. sodium laureth ether sulphate- 1 ethoxylated(SLES-1EO);
d. sodium lauryl sarcosinate;
e. PEG 400;
f. glycerine;
g. propylene glycol;
h. cetyl alcohol;
i. glyceryl monostearate;
j. Steareth 721;
k. cetearyl alcohol;
l. stearic acid;
m. wheat germ oil;
n. sun flower oil;
o. olive oil;
p. silica (30-70) mesh;
q. pumice powder;
r. polyethylene beads; and
s. water,
wherein said composition is a stable liquid scrubbing composition.
9. The composition as claimed in claim 8, wherein xanthan gum weight percentage in composition is 0.7%, corn starch weight percentage in said composition is 2.5%, sodium laureth ether sulphate- 1 ethoxylated (SLES-1EO) weight percentage in said composition is 1.736%, sodium lauryl sarcosinate weight percentage in said composition is 0.1-0.9%, PEG 400 weight percentage in said composition is 5%, glycerine weight concentration in said composition is 2%, propylene glycol weight percentage in said composition is 9.7%, cetyl alcohol weight percentage in said composition is 1.5%, glyceryl monostearate weight percentage in said composition is 2.9%, Steareth 721 weight percentage in said composition is 1.8%, cetearyl alcohol weight concentration in said composition is 1.5%, stearic acid weight percentage in said composition is 2.2%, wheat germ oil weight concentration in said composition is 0.5%, sun flower oil weight concentration in said composition is 1.2%, olive oil weight percentage in said composition is 0.8%, silica (30-70) mesh weight concentration in said composition is 7.6-8%, pumice powder weight percentage in said composition is 2-4.5%, polyethylene beads weight percentage in said composition is 0.01-0.3%, and water to 100%.
10. A method of preparing a composition as claimed in any of the claims 8-9, said method comprising the steps of:
a. melting stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, cetosteryl alcohol, glyceryl monostearate, steareth 21 along with propylene glycol at 60-65°C under stirring at 120 rpm;
b. reducing the temperature to 45 to 50°C and adding sunflower oil, wheat germ oil, and olive oil and mixing it 5 minutes under stirring;
c. adding the surfactants (sodium laureth ether sulphate- 1 ethoxylated (SLES-1-EO) and sodium lauryl sarcosinate) one after another and mixing it for 5 to 15 minutes;
d. adding hot water to the above mixture;
e. dispersing corn starch, and xanthan gum in glycerine and PEG 400 and adding it to the above mixture and mixing it for 5 to 15 minutes;
f. adding silica powder, pumice powder, polyethylene beads to the above mixture and mixing it for 10 to 30 minutes to obtain said composition.
