Stamping Machine

Abstract: The present subject matter relates to a stamping machine (100) for stamping a lateral periphery of an object (102). The stamping machine (100) may include at least one unwinder (108) to unwind a roll (110) to provide a foil (112) for stamping. The stamping machine (100) may further include at least one puller (114) to pull the foil (112) to unwind the roll (110). Further, the stamping machine (100) may include a stamping roller assembly (116) to stamp the foil (112) against the lateral periphery of the object (102). The stamping roller assembly (116) may further include a roller (116-2) to press the foil (112) against the lateral periphery of the object (102) and a heating the heating element to heat the roller (116-2) for stamping.

Specification

CLIAMS:1. A stamping machine (100) for stamping on a lateral periphery of an object (102), the stamping machine (100) comprising:
a base (104);
at least one holder (106) installed on the base (104) to support the object (102), wherein the at least one holder (106) is supported on the base (104) by a plurality of suspension elements (302);
at least one unwinder (108) installed in proximity of the at least one holder (106) to hold a roll (110) of a foil (112), wherein the roll (110) of the foil (112) is rotatably mounted on at least one unwinder (108);
at least one puller (114) installed in proximity of the at least one unwinder (108) to pull the foil (112), wherein the at least one puller (114) pulls the foil (112) to rotate the at least one unwinder (108) for unwinding the foil (112) for stamping; and
a stamping roller assembly (116) installed in proximity of the at least one holder (106) to stamp the foil (112) on the lateral periphery of the object (102), the stamping roller assembly (116) comprising:
a roller (116-2) formed of an elastic material and rotatable about a central longitudinal axis, wherein the roller (116-2) is,
to actuate for coming in contact with the object (102) and the foil (112), to rotate the object (102) when in contact with the object (102); and
to press the foil (112) against the lateral periphery of the object (102) to stamp the foil (112) on the object (102), wherein the foil (112) is disposed in an area between the roller (116-2) and the at least one holder (106) during stamping; and
a heating element installed in proximity of the roller (116-2) to heat the roller (116-2), wherein the roller (116-2) is to heat the foil (112) when in contact with the foil (112), to stamp the foil (112) on the lateral periphery of the object (102).
2. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the object (102) has one of polygonal and circular cross sections.
3. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a speed of rotation of the at least one unwinder (108) is to synchronize with a speed of rotation of the at least one puller (114).
4. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1 further comprising:
at least one hopper (202) coupled to the at least one holder (106) and installed upstream with respect to the at least one holder (106) to deliver one object (102) to the at least one holder (106); and
a receiving platform (208) coupled to the at least one holder (106) and installed downstream with respect to the at least one holder (106) to receive the stamped object (102) from the at least one holder (106).
5. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the at least one holder (106) further comprises a pneumatic cylinder (206), wherein the pneumatic cylinder (206) is to position the object (102) in the holder (106) with respect to the stamping roller assembly (116) for stamping.
6. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a temperature of the roller (116-2) is in range of about 210-230 degree Celsius.
7. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a predetermined pressure applied by the roller (116-2) is in range of about 3-4 kg/cm2.
8. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the roller (116-2) comprises silicon rubber.
9. The stamping machine (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein a hardness of the roller (116-2) is in range of about 70-75 SH.
