Abstract: ABSTRACT STAND DEPLOYMENT STATUS DETERMINATION Techniques for determining stand deployment status of a vehicle are provided. In 5 an example, a current value of at least one motion attribute may be obtained from a motion sensor installed within the vehicle. An angle of inclination of the vehicle may be derived based on the at least one motion attribute. The current value of the at least one motion attribute is determined to be within a first threshold value range. A change in the current value of the at least one motion attribute determined over a 10 predetermined period of time is compared with a second threshold value. Based on the comparison, it is ascertained that the vehicle is present in a predefined position for the predetermined period of time. A notification indicating that the stand of the vehicle is applied is generated. 15
