Abstract: A stator core (11) which constitutes a part of a stator (10) of a rotating electrical machine and comprises an annular yoke (11b) a group of teeth (11a) which are fitted on the inner side of the annular yoke (11b) and formed integrally so that the circumferential ends of adjacent teeth (11a2) on the inner periphery side are joined by thin connection parts (11a1) and slots for storing a stator winding (12) wherein the annular yoke (11b) has equidistantly spaced V shaped grooves (11b1) which extend on the inner periphery surface thereof along the axial direction of the stator (10) and have cross sections perpendicular to the axial direction that open toward the inside of the stator core (11) and the outer periphery end of each tooth (11a2) constituting the group of teeth (11a) includes a fitting portion (11a3) that has a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction that is formed into a wedge shape so that each tooth (11a2) fits into the grooves.
