Steam Valve

Abstract: A steam valve according to at least one embodiment of the present invention includes a valve seat and a valve body. Each of the valve body and the valve seat has: a first layer that is formed on a base material and the material of which is different from the base material; and a second layer that is formed on the first layer at least at a contact position where the valve body and the valve seat are in contact and the material of which is different from the base material and the first layer. At at least one of one side and the other side of a steam channel that is separated with the contact position of the valve body and the valve seat being sandwiched therebetween, the minimum curvature radius of the first layer, of at least one of the valve body and the valve seat, in a cross section extending along the direction of relative movement of the valve body and the valve seat is equal to or greater than the smaller of the minimum curvature radius of a surface of the base material and the minimum curvature radius of a surface of the second layer.
