Abstract: A steel piece scarfing device according to the present invention includes: lower end shield fuel gas nozzles that blow shield fuel gas onto a lower surface of a steel piece; a lower end shield fuel gas cylinder that supplies the shield fuel gas to the lower end shield fuel gas nozzles; a fuel gas supply line that supplies the shield fuel gas to the lower end shield fuel gas cylinder; and a water supply line that supplies water to the lower end shield fuel gas cylinder.
