BACKGROUND
[0002] Background description includes information that may be useful in understanding the present invention. It is not an admission that any of the information provided herein is prior art or relevant to the presently claimed invention, or that any publication specifically or implicitly referenced is prior art. [0003] Automobiles are a part of everyday life in urban and suburban communities. Automobile to move a person or things from a location to another, and a licensed driver is required to drive the vehicle on a road. Nowadays many highways are existing which connects many cities and states also. When a person drives the vehicle on these highways, usually they drive in a high speed, as there are no small cuts, and breakers on the road. Sometimes this results to accident and the person loses his life, and mostly accidents happen due to over speeding. [0004] Traffic signs are set ups by the side of a road for indicating information of speed applied to a vehicle travelling on the road, and the user needs to reduce the speed accordingly. However, when the person drives in a high speed, these signboards are missed by him, this ignorance may cause to accident, and compromise life and wealth.
[0005] Also, there is a technical problem in detecting the presence of traffic signs on the road and distinguishing two successive traffic signs present on the same road. Some traffic signs are large in size, which are easily seen by the driver, but the small sign which are by road side are not noticed by the driver. Therefore, a system is required to extract information from all the signboards available on the road large or small, and to alert the user to drive accordingly. [0006] Existing systems recognize the traffic and the traffic lights and alert the user to stop or reduce the speed accordingly, but there is no system available to reduce the speed of the vehicle according to the traffic signs. Also, other possible
solutions are having a radar or a camera at the front of the car, that detect the speed sign boards from a distance and indicate the same to the driver, a major issue occurred as sign boards are covered by plants, multiple information and signs on the board.
[0007] There is a need to overcome above mentioned problem and other limitation of existing and utilized techniques by bringing a solution which is, accurate, fast, efficient, cost effective and simple, and assist in notifying the driver to maintain speed of the vehicle based on required speed.
