“Step Assembly Of A Vehicle And Method Of Assembling The Step Assembly”
Abstract: A step assembly (100) of a vehicle is disclosed. The step assembly (100) includes one or more elongate members (1) coupled to a door sill (2) of a body frame (3) of the vehicle. The step assembly (100) further includes a plurality of first brackets (5), at least a portion of the plurality of first brackets (5) is disposed between the door sill (2) and the one or more elongate members (1), while a 10 remaining portion of the plurality of first brackets (5) extend in a width wise direction (6) of the vehicle. The step assembly (100) further includes a plurality of second brackets (7) connectable to the door sill (2) and to the first bracket (5). The plurality of first brackets (5) along with the plurality of second brackets (7) is structured to removably receive a running board (8) and support load applied 15 on the running board (8).
