It further relates to method of sterilization for eliminating the microorganism and thereby providing longitivty, durability and improved power consumption. It further relates to method of sterilization of Air Conditioner thereby providing clean breathable air and cleaner environment. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION: [0003] Air Conditioners are service based equipments, which with the efflux of time and usage needs to be serviced and maintained at frequent intervals to ensure its performance durability and longevity. Air Conditioner services refer to cleaning of the air filters, evaporator/indoor unit and condensers/outdoor unit. [0004] An Air Conditioner has 5 main parts: Refrigerant which is a special fluid which is basically a gas in form of liquid that is vital to cooling and freezing technology. Refrigerant moves through an Air Conditioner’s cooling tubes and copper coils, connecting the inside unit to the outside unit; Compressor; Condenser Coil in the outdoor Air Conditioning unit which receives the high pressure, high temperature refrigerant from the compressor, designed to facilitate heat transfer to the outdoor air. The refrigerant releases heat energy with the aid of the condenser fan, which blows air over the coils; Evaporator Coil where the Air Conditioner actually picks up the heat from inside the home. When the indoor air blows over the cold coils, the heat from inside the home gets absorbed. Just like the condenser coils need the help of the condenser fan to facilitate heat transfer, the evaporator coils rely on the indoor air handler’s fan to blow air over the coils. As the refrigerant absorbs heat from the indoor air, it starts to evaporate to form a vapor. Once the refrigerant absorbs a certain amount of heat from the indoor air, it then discharges it to the compressor, which pressurizes and heats up the refrigerant. After passing through the compressor, it flows through the condenser coils. A big, often loud condenser fan helps to push air over the condenser coils to facilitate heat transfer outdoors. Refrigerant then cycles back over an expansion valve, depressurizing it and cooling it down. It then performs the same heat absorption process over and over again. [0005] Air Conditioners are complex structure in terms of design and it contain many parts which are not flat surface but grooves, fins, circular shape, that makes cleaning more challenging. It has approx 550 to 1000 fins per Air Conditioner system which may increase if the system is extra large or commercial unit. Dirty coils mean spending more money to keep the space cool. A blocked evaporator coil often causes the compressor to run at increased temperatures, placing stress on the entire system and can risk the damage of many essential parts such as capacitor, contactor, copper tube welding joints and flairs which are the specially crafted block at the end of copper tube that connects the copper tube from outdoor and indoor at joining point such pressure can make it weaken and it can lose the grip hence the entire refrigerant blow out. [0006] Also we directly inhale the air that is thrown by Air Conditioners. Since Air Conditioners are temperature controlling equipment used in modifying air temperature of homes, offices, and industries for various reasons; nevertheless, such artificial environments may be favorable to fungi, bacteria, protozoan and mites growth, which may bring health risks to users, either by hypersensitivity or infections. Also it favours to grow the allergen elements and bacteria to grow in Air Conditioner indoor unit because moisture and cold. In the current scenario; especially in Covid-19 and post Covid-19 time, sterilization of Air Conditioner is essential as they could be major source of spread in a closed environment without proper checks. But by far it is the most ignored part and focus is more on cleaning rather than sanitization and disinfection of the entire unit. [0007] Dust accumulation coupled with humidity especially at the downstream section of the cooling equipment and inner section ie fins, cooling coil, blower and convert into the mud and fungus in availability of high moistures lead to the propagation of selected group of microorganisms capable of surviving the prevailing conditions. This situation has often resulted in what is referred to as “sick building syndrome” noticed only when users spends considerable time in it and develop some form of allergic symptoms. The sick building syndrome symptoms include headache, watery eyes, skin disorders, respiratory disorders and weakness. According to WHO, it can spread many airborne disease like TB (tuberculosis) cold, flu, if the Air Conditioner is poorly maintained. According to Mark Mendell, a staff scientist with the Lawrence Berkeley national laboratory’s USA: “If you have badly maintained ac system it can become contaminated with microorganism that may be harmful to inhale”. Mendell also mentions asthma problems and allergies as some of those harms (source: TIME magazine USA) [0008] Organisms like Legionella pneumophilla, Streptococcus pneumonia and Bacillus spp have been reported in Air Conditioner filters and species of Penicillium pneumocystis, Carinii, Aspergillus, Rhizopus, Fusarium and Alternaria species have been reported too. [0009] Air Conditioners are service based equipment and due to their complex structure, require expert servicing method. But they are still serviced with typically old age service method which generally focused only on cleaning the filter. These filters are big slotted plastic or nylon net wherein it is impossible to stop the dust particles and the major culprit of allergy and microorganism is evaporator which is an indoor unit inside the plastic mould which includes fin, cooling coil, blower etc. In most cleaning processes these parts remain untouched. Compact water pump and water pressure is used sometimes to perform water wash but there is no focus on the sterilization of the Air Conditioner. There are some devices claiming to kill the bacteria and virus but they are costly and complex to use and they have focused on installing their device or instrument in new or existing Air Conditioner or as separate device. These product or device mainly focused on industrial HVAC system or came as in-build sterilization device in new models. Even if any device is installed for sterilization, over the time, they also require to be maintained and cleaned with the Air Conditioner system periodically as the Air Conditioner is typically service based equipment. Therefore any device can’t guarantee a lifelong satisfactory solution and will certainly need the periodically service and maintenance. Also such existing facilities are not compatible with preinstalled air conditioner or smaller units such as highwall, cassette, window and other light commercial and commercial Air Conditioner units. [0010] Air Conditioner is one of the most neglected devices in terms of service hence no invention or improvement has been seen in years. Our sterilization method has been developed and formatted in a unique way such that it fits with every air conditioning system and ensure proper cleaning and sterilization to kill and deactivate harmful bacteria, germs and viruses. [0011] The present invention consists of certain novel features and a combination of parts hereinafter fully described, illustrated in the accompanying drawings and particularly pointed out in the appended claims, it is being understood that various changes in the details may be made without departing from the spirit or sacri?cing any of the advantages of the invention. Our present invention offers benefits over prior art in different features as described herein below in detailed description of the present invention. OBJECT OF THE INVENTION: [0012] It is an object of the invention to provide an end to end innovative method for Air Conditioners service which is capable of sterilizing the indoor unit thereby removing the microorganisms rather than the existing process of mere washing the air filters and allied components. [0013] It is another object of the present invention to standardize the Air Conditioner Service Process which is low on cost, eliminates microorganisms and bacterial allergens along with the dust particles. [0014] It is yet another object of the invention to provide a method for sterilization of Air Conditioner thereby improving efficiency and reducing power consumption. [0015] It is yet another object of the invention to improve durability and longevity of Air Conditioner by providing standard method of sterilization. [0016] It is yet another object of the invention to provide a method of sterilization of Air Conditioner which helps in providing clean breathable air and cleaner environment. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION: [0017] The process of sterilization involves chemico-thermo radiation based method for sterilization of Air Conditioner. It comprises of steps of removing the outer cover and removing the dust particles; applying the organic or chemical solution based solution or combination of both on Air Conditioner body including an indoor unit inside the plastic or metal body mould which includes filter, evaporator, fin, cooling coil, blower from plurality of sources having at least one organic or inorganic compound with anti-microbial properties and medically proven positive health effects on humans; resting it for specific time to let it act on dust, mites bugs and other microorganisms. This step leads to removing the dust mites and bugs. This also helps in eliminating the odor causing matters. The step can be applied without detaching Cooling Coil from the Air Conditioner. [0018] It is then followed by cleaning the organic or chemical based solution or a combination of both by supplying steam to perform heat operation as well as cleaning the dust and fungus came out or popped up. This step of Steam Wash uses steam vapor at specific temperature and for specific time to clean an Air Conditioner’s exterior and interior. The application of steam further removes moulds, fungi and bacteria from the indoor unit. The heat of the steam creates a natural sanitizing power which breaks up grease and dirt and forced them to leave the indoor unit of the Air Conditioner. This step ensures the indoor unit to be properly clean and in hygienic condition. It is followed by application of high level of disinfectant by spraying on the entire indoor unit and let it sink on each part of indoor unit at a specific time. It is then cleaned with heat operation by supplying the steam. This step ensures the indoor unit to be properly clean and in hygienic condition. [0019] To assure complete sterilization of Air Conditioner indoor unit, high intensity radiation is supplied from a plurality of apparatus for a specific time leading to killing and deactivation of the virus, bacteria, microorganism and other harmful elements. This leads to complete sterilization of Air Conditioner unit by application of radiation and removing odor emitting substances thereby getting rid of microorganism completely. This step further removes odor emitting substances as well. [0020] This structured innovative method can be applied to domestic Air Conditioners and Cooling Systems as well as to industrial and Commercial HVAC Equipments. It also provides complete solution for sterilization of Air Conditioners of vehicles and refrigeration systems. The sterilization method herein described has also application in supply Chain and Logistics including Warehouses, Cold Storage and Transportation Vehicles. It can also be extended to water dispensers and water coolers. [0021] The most important application is the availability of complete sterilization process for Air Conditioner which become even more important in the time of Covid-19 and post Covid-19. The innovative process not only provides the health maintenance of air conditioner but improves its efficiency as well. The complete sterilization of indoor units of even preinstalled Air Conditioner leads to efficiency in power consumption, better durability and longevity of Air Conditioner. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES: [0022] Figure 1A and figure 1B describe the parts and complexity thereof of Air Conditioner indoor unit. [0023] Figure 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F describe the different parts of Air Conditioner indoor unit with accumulated dust and microorganisms. [0024] Figure 3 describes the complete sterilization method. [0025] Figure 4A and 4B illustrates in-process application of sterilization method in sample indoor unit. [0026] Figure 5A, 5B and 5C illustrates the before and after effects of sterilization method application over different parts of Air Conditioner system. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION: [0027] To establish the novelty and inventiveness of the present invention, it is important to understand the system wherein it will be applied. Thus Figure 1A and figure 1B describe the parts and complexity thereof of Air Conditioner indoor unit. In these figures we can clearly see fins, cooling coil behind it and blower. Drain tray is also clearly visible and plastic mould behind the cooling coil is visible too. Cooling coils are made of copper tubing which runs through a series of thin, aluminum strips called fins. There are many coil designs and compositions, such as aluminum coils, or spine fin coils that look kind of like a large pipe-cleaner, airflow across the coil helps the transfer of heating energy into and out of the home. Because the coils play such a crucial role in the cooling process, keeping them clean helps to ensure the long-term health of any Air Conditioning system. The best way to clean these coils is to have an expert solution for this. The inventor has developed an expert method and named it “AC Doctor” for examining and then precisely prescribing what is needed to care for Air Conditioning system and to maintain Air Conditioner system for optimal efficiency and longevity. [0028] Figure 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F describe the different parts of Air Conditioner indoor unit with accumulated dust and microorganisms for highlighting requirement of sterilization. Due to the tight spacing between the coil fins, grooves, fins, circular shape, surface moisture from the cooling process and the amount of air that flows across them, dirt, dust, debris and other pollutants can build up on the coil surfaces. Over time, this buildup reduces the system’s ability to transfer heat into and out of the home, thus reducing the system’s ability to provide summer cooling. In more extreme cases, dirty coils can also hinder or block the airflow that is so important to the entire process. This can result in having a less comfortable home, office, commercial premises, or any place using the Air Conditioner and rising utility bills due to the lost in energy efficiency by excessive congestion. Even worse, dirty coils make the system work harder than intended and can result in shorter system life and potentially expensive repair bills. The cleaner the air conditioning coil, the more efficient the system will operate. For condenser units, the most common threat is a buildup of yard debris on the fins. This usually takes the form of grass clippings, fallen leaves, twigs, and pet hair that make it harder for the condenser to release heat. This reduces Air Conditioner energy efficiency and places a strain on the condenser and other components. Dirty coils can reduce overall system effectiveness, causing higher humidity inside and less overall comfort. It can then decrease cooling efficiency and increase cooling costs because less efficient operation means higher operating costs. Thus a systemized and standard method of Air Conditioner complete health maintenance is devised in the present invention to not only clean the System but also improve its efficiency and longitivity and clean breathable air. It also means less harm to environment by releasing lesser heat by a cleaner Air Conditioner. [0029] Figure 3 illustrates the end to end innovative method for Air Conditioners sterilization and health maintenance which is chemico-thermo radiation based method of sterilization comprising of first step Step1 of Open the Air Conditioner Evaporator Cover and Remove the air filter from the unit. The next step is Step 2 of Removing the dust particles and applying the Organic or Chemical based solution or a combination of both having anti-microbial properties. The dust particles are thoroughly removed from the unit before applying chemical solutions to get rid of any obstacle in the way. The Organic or Chemical based solution or a combination of both having anti-microbial properties and medically proven no side effects and positive health effects on humans; is applied from at plurality of sources having at least one organic or inorganic compound on the indoor unit parts namely evaporator, cooling coil, blower, air filter and other parts. It is followed by Step 3 of Resting it for specific time to let it act on dust, mites bugs and other microorganisms. Organic or Chemical based solution or a combination of both is allowed to rest and/or sink it for specific time to let it act on dust, mud, fungus, mites, bugs and other microorganisms. This step leads to removing the dust mites and bugs. This also helps in eliminating the odor causing matters. The step can be applied without detaching Cooling Coil from the Air Conditioner. It is then followed by Step 4 of Cleaning the Organic or Chemical based solution or a combination of both by supplying steam using inbuilt brush to perform heat operation as well as cleaning the dust and fungus came out or popped up. This step is followed by the next step of thermal application stage wherein steam is supplied by a plurality of apparatus and thoroughly to ensure heating after cleaning. Thus next step is Step 5 of Supplying steam from a plurality of apparatus thoroughly to ensure heating after cleaning. This step of Steam Wash uses steam vapor at specific temperature and for specific time to clean an Air Conditioner’s exterior and interior. The application of steam replaces need of using high pressure washers and harmful chemicals and is found to be more effective than water wash. It is followed by Step 6 of Applying high level of disinfectant by spraying on the entire indoor unit after getting more cleaned surface free from dust, mud and fungus. Step 7 involves to Let the high level of disinfectant to sink on each part of indoor unit at a specific time and then performing the heat operation by supplying the steam again to ensure dilution of chemical as well as more cleaning if any dust mud or fungus particle left and ensure full cleaning of the system. This step further leads to breaking up of grease and dirt and forced them to leave the indoor unit of the air conditioner and that the indoor unit to be properly clean and in hygienic condition. To ensure complete sterilization of Air Conditioner indoor unit the next step is Step 8 of Supplying high intensity radiation from a plurality of apparatus for a specific time leading to Step 9 of Ensuring killing and deactivation of the virus, bacteria, microorganism and other harmful elements and Step 10 of Sterilizing the air by application of radiation and removing odor emitting substances thereby getting rid of microorganism completely. [0030] The method of Air Conditioner sterilization and health maintenance is devised carefully to standardize the complete and deep cleaning servicing process and thereby removing the microorganisms rather than the existing process of mere washing the air filters and allied components leading to improved Air Conditioner efficiency. Each step is systematically devised and is prelude to the next step effectiveness. [0031] In one of the embodiments, step 2 of applying Organic or Chemical based solution or a combination of both step involves spraying generic vinegar containing 4–7% acetic acid and 93–96% water. In another embodiment, the Organic or Chemical based solution or a combination of both step involves spraying citric acid containing 4–7% citric acid and 93–96% water. In one embodiment, in step 2 of applying Organic or Chemical based solution or a combination of both step; white vinegar can be used with distilled water. In another embodiment malt vinegar can be applied with distilled water. In a preferred embodiment vinegar is applied in combination of water to different parts of the Air conditioner which are soaked for atleast 4-8 minutes. [0032] Further in a preferred embodiment Vinegar is used in combination in 40%-60% of hot Water further Vinegar, Citric acid and hot water can be used in 1:1:2 parts. [0033] In an preferred embodiment, in step 6 of applying high level disinfectant; Glutaraldehyde can be applied after Vineagar with 1.5-2.5% Glutaradehyde in distilled water, which is sprayed using a plurality of devices and then it is left to sink for at least 15-20 minutes. Essential oil can be added for fragrance and to neutralize the smell of vinegar. [0034] In an embodiment, the steam may be generated from a steam jet. In another embodiment, the steam may be generated from an electric-powered steamer filled with water and heated to generate the hot water vapors. In one of the preferred embodiment, the steam vapor is expelled with air pressure from a handle using a trigger. In a preferred embodiment steam is generated at temperature of 175F to 298F is continuously applied in indoor unit for duration of 15-30 minutes on the parts, preferably 18-22 minutes. [0035] In an embodiment the radiation could be Ultra Violet rays. In another embodiment the radiation could be Infra red rays. In an embodiment, the radiation source could be UV lamp or UV wand. [0036] In a preferred embodiment the radiation is UV-C rays emitted from an emitting source having wavelength of 200-280 nanometers applied for a duration 4-10 minutes to perform sterilization using a lamp or a UV LED or UV Wand destroy microorganisms, including bacteria, virus, and fungus/mold. [0037] In an embodiment the vinegar is applied and left to sink for 5-10 minutes followed by steam application for 5-10 minutes from steam machine with nozzle pressure as well as brushing the indoor unit with steam using inbuilt brush with steam nozzle, so that heating and cleaning process can be done together to clean the dust, fungus, mud, or any oily particles and other muddy stuff. [0038] Figure 4A and 4B illustrate a preferred embodiment of the in-process application of sterilization method in sample indoor unit wherein the Air conditioner need not be removed from its place but the sterilization method is applied from plurality of devices over the installed unit. In this embodiment, first the heavy dirt particles and fungus or other such structure is being cleaned as first level of cleaning, then Vinegar as an organic compound based solution is being applied deeply and left it to rest for about 7 minutes; then steam is being applied along with brushing to remove next layer dirt; giving next level of cleaning. Glutaraldehyde as high level disinfectant is then applied. Here it is important to note that Glutaraldehyde is being applied only after Vinegar application and steam washing to ensure that Glutaraldehyde as chemical based solution reaches to maximum surface area so that it can kill the microorganism and virus. So before applying Glutaraldehyde we need first level dust cleaning followed by with Vinegar application and steam to ensure, application of Glutaraldehyde is proper. With each level of cleaning we ensure to weaken and kill microorganisms. Such deep cleaning is possible only after more surface area exposed; from back to back cleaning and chemical treatment. After going through these different levels of cleaning and deep cleaning as described; UV-C radiation is being applied to ensure complete sterilization because now the radiations can cover up whole surface area. So the method has been devised in a manner to not only clean but to give a complete solution to Air Conditioner Health maintenance. It not only cleans dirty coils but helps in decreasing maintenance bill and reducing emission of harmful gases that damage the environment. By the application of the systemized and standard method of Air Conditioner as described herein; complete health maintenance is provided to not only clean the System but also improve its efficiency and longitivity and provide clean air. [0039] Figure 5A, 5B and 5C illustrates the before and after effects of sterilization method application images over different parts of Air Conditioner system as an embodiment. Figure 5A shows the before and after sterilization process images of cooling coil with fins part of Air Conditioner indoor unit which reside its inside the Air Conditioner system. Figure 5B shows the before and after sterilization process images of air blower part of Air Conditioner indoor unit which reside its inside and blows air. Figure 5C shows the before and after sterilization process images of drain tray part of Air Conditioner system. These figures clearly show the level of results obtained from the application of said sterilization method. Because of the way Air Conditioner operate evaporator and condenser coils both need to be kept clean to perform as intended and reach optimal energy efficiency. Even a fine layer of dust on the evaporator coil reduces its efficiency. The dust acts as an insulator, keeping the heat in and the air away from the cold coils. That means the coil can’t absorb as much heat as it can when not clean. Thus dust cleaning before even applying chemical solution is first step of this innovative method. [0040] Our invention has experimented with different chemicals and investigated for best applicable solutions, since coils are made from different material copper, steel, or aluminum and applying any chemical solution may not work with such intensity due to the presence of dust and fungus. Also it cannot be compatible with the material such as copper or aluminum and not only damage the material but make it corrosive too. [0041] In the time of Covid-19 virus and the way it is spreading; ensuring good ventilation is even vital in Air Conditioner indoor unit to protect the Air Conditioner health and thereby users health. Thus steam application for specific temperature and time is very important for the overall system; followed by the radiation exposure to get best possible result. The said process can be applied from plurality of devices making it flexible and cost effective. The invention involved the deep research and expertise of inventors to develop the method over the time and devise the best mode of operation. [0042] The innovative method sterilizes the Air Conditioner indoor and exterior completely and is effective for months, however duration of effectiveness may vary depend on the various conditions ie use of Air Conditioner, place and location of Air Conditioner, performance of Air Conditioner. In an embodiment, the sterilization process performance is activated till 3-4 months. [0043] The sterilization service method is not only unique but it is very cost effective and economical. The charge for the traditional service varies from Rs. 400 to Rs, 1000 where as our sterilization service varies between Rs. 250 to Rs, 600 only. Also the proper deep cleaning to assure the higher performance that guarantee power saving and less wear and tear that again benefit to the pockets, as well as save environment by reducing emission of gases and reducing extra heat that generate the ac system by over running due to excessive congestion. [0044] No matter how much your air conditioner operates, it is important to apply the Air Conditioner sterilization method for maintenance of evaporator and condenser coils and the rest of Air Conditioner system to run efficiently and provide clean breathable air. During the sterilization process we can also detect if anything is wrong and better able to troubleshoot the problem. [0045] In the preceding specification, the invention has been described with reference to specific exemplary embodiments thereof. It will be evident that various modifications and changes may be made thereunto without departing from the broader spirit and scope of the invention as set forth in the claims that follow. The specification and drawings are accordingly to be regarded in an illustrative rather than restrictive sense. Therefore, the aim in the appended claims is to cover all such changes and modifications as fall within the true spirit and scope of the invention. The matter set forth in the foregoing description and accompanying drawings is offered by way of illustration only and not as a limitation. The actual scope of the invention is intended to be defined in the following claims when viewed in their proper perspective based on the prior art.

[0001] STERILIZATION PROCESS FOR AIR CONDITIONER HEALTH MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVED EFFICIENCY

FIELD OF THE INVENTION:
[0002] The Invention relates to a method for sterilization of Air Conditioner and more particularly a chemico-thermo-radiation based sterilization method for Air Conditioner sterilization, deep cleaning and servicing. It further relates to method of sterilization for eliminating the microorganism and thereby providing longitivty, durability and improved power consumption. It further relates to method of sterilization of Air Conditioner thereby providing clean breathable air and cleaner environment.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION:
[0003] Air Conditioners are service based equipments, which with the efflux of time and usage needs to be serviced and maintained at frequent intervals to ensure its performance durability and longevity.
Mendell also mentions asthma problems and allergies as some of those harms (source: TIME magazine USA)
[0008] Organisms like Legionella pneumophilla, Streptococcus pneumonia and Bacillus spp have been reported in Air Conditioner filters and species of Penicillium pneumocystis, Carinii, Aspergillus, Rhizopus, Fusarium and Alternaria species have been reported too.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION:
[0012] It is an object of the invention to provide an end to end innovative method for Air Conditioners service which is capable of sterilizing the indoor unit thereby removing the microorganisms rather than the existing process of mere washing the air filters and allied components.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION:
[0017] The process of sterilization involves chemico-thermo radiation based method for sterilization of Air Conditioner.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION:
[0027] To establish the novelty and inventiveness of the present invention, it is important to understand the system wherein it will be applied.
