Abstract: A stick-able label containing set of medicinal information imprinted over it. The label can be easily take out from over the foil packing and then can be pasted over any appropriate Surface.
DESCRIPTION
This invention relates to pharmaceutical industry.
In particular it relates to medicinal information imprinted over the medicine packing.
Traditionally, the process of unwrapping pill/capsule or any other similar medicine involves an attempt of push force on its shell wall, that as result tear off the foil surface of the opposite side.
Some other unwrapping (taking out the medicine from the sealed foil packing) techniques
require easy by hand tearing off the foil.
Foil packed medicine -> unwrapping ->Loose Medicine (Loose to consume).
Since, tearing off the foil is a required step to obtain loose medicine for consumption.
Also the foil contains on its surface set of all medicinal information.
But each time to loose a medicine from its packing the attempt results in torn foil paper, that
can be deduced as torn medicinal information.
These various processes of unwrapping somehow also involves the risk of loss of medicinal
information , such as medicine name, application ,direction composition, manufacturing date
as well as information related to expiry date of medicine to term a few. Moreover, that as practical observation it is seen in day to day life scenario that torn sum of
used medicine strips acts as the next time purchase assistance.
This invention is a method to protect information imprinted over the medicines.
The two tier packing format of said method is described here... Tier 1 is termed as Primary Packing.
That is (Alloy) foil based packing, containing super set of medicinal information imprinted over
it. May be similar as traditional packing techniques. Tier 2 is termed as Secondary packing.
In term it is a stick-able label, pre-pasted over the primary packing. That contains identical
medicinal information as printed over the primary packingor any subset of the superset of said
medicinal information (Inventive step).
This stick-able label can easily be taken out from foil surface and wherever suitable can be
pasted upon. So at the time of need, required medicinal information can be retrieve.
CLAIMS
1. This invention is a method to protect information imprinted over the medicinal strip.
2. The method of packing drugs, said method comprises of two tier packing format namely
primary packing and secondary packing.
3. In the method of packing drugs, said primary packing as termed above protects the drug
from moisture, microorganism, light or any other factor affecting the drug. As well as
containing the superset of medicinal information imprinted over the foil packing.
4. In method of packing drugs, said secondary packing as termed above is the stick-able
label pre-pasted over the primary foil surface, containing identical medicinal
information as imprinted over the primary packing or any subset of the same medicinal
information.
5. The process of un-wrapping pill/capsule or any other similar medicine involves tearing
off foil paper that can be deduced as torn medicinal information.
6. This invention can be applicable over any foil based or any similar medicinal packing,
where tearing off the foil is a step involved to consume the medicine.
