Abstract: The invention relates to a stirring element device (10; 10'), more particularly for stirring fluidized beds and/or solid mixtures and/or high-viscosity suspensions, comprising at least one spiral stirrer (12; 12'), which can be rotated about an axis of rotation (14) and has at least one coil (16) running around the axis of rotation (14). According to the invention, the spiral stirrer (12; 12') has a main body (18; 18'), which has, in at least one cross-sectional view, an at least partly oval, more particularly circular, outer contour (20; 20').
