Abstract: The present subject matter relates to a system (100) for manufacturing articles. The system (100) may include a conveying unit (106) to convey a plurality of articles. The system (100) may also include a stacking unit (108) installed downstream with respect to the conveying unit (106) to stack the plurality of articles. In the illustrated implementation, the system (100) may also include at least one stopper (206) installed in transition between the stacking unit (108) and the conveying unit (106) to guide the articles towards the stacking unit (108) and to prevent any upward movement of the articles while the stack is formed in the stacking unit (108).
Claims:1. A stacking unit (108) of a system (100) for manufacturing and stacking a plurality of articles, the stacking unit (108) comprising:
a jogger assembly comprising a platform (200) to receive the plurality of articles; and
an inlet (202);
a stopper (206) coupled at the inlet (202) of the stacking unit (108), the stopper (206) having a free end (404), wherein the stopper (206) has a curved profile with the free end (404) of the stopper (206) extending away from the platform (200) of the jogger assembly.
2. The stacking unit (108) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the article is a printed substrate.
3. The stacking unit (108) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stopper (206) is made of aluminium.
4. The stacking unit (108) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stopper (206) is detachably coupled at the inlet of the stacking unit (108).
5. The stacking unit (108) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the stopper (206) comprises a body portion (406), the body portion (406) being substantially straight.
6. The stacking unit (108) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the body portion (406) has an arc-shaped profile.
7. The stacking unit (108) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the body portion (406) and the free end (404) are substantially straight, the free end (404) being inclined with respect to the body portion (406) to curve away from the platform (200).
8. A conveying unit (106) for conveying a plurality of articles, the conveying unit (106) comprising:
a frame (304);
at least one conveyor belt (300) supported on the frame (304), wherein the at least one conveyor belt (300) is to convey the plurality of articles; and
a stopper (206) detachably coupled to the frame (304) in proximity of a dispensing end of the at least one conveyor belt (300), wherein the stopper (206) has a curved profile with a free end 404 of the stopper (206) extending away from the dispensing end of the at least one conveyor belt (300).
9. The conveying unit (106) as claimed in claim 8, wherein the article is a printed substrate.
10. The conveying unit (106) as claimed in claim 8, wherein the stopper (206) is made of aluminium.
11. A system (100) for manufacturing articles, the system (100) comprising:
a conveying unit (106) to convey a plurality of articles from a source to downstream in the system (100);
at least one stacking unit (108) installed downstream with respect to the conveying unit (106), the at least one stacking unit (108) comprising a platform (200) to receive the plurality of articles from the conveyor unit (106); and
at least one stopper (206) detachably coupled to a frame of the system (100) at an inlet of the at least one stacking unit (108), wherein the stopper (206) has a curved profile with a free end 404 of the stopper (206) extending away from the platform (200).
12. The system (100) as claimed in claim 11, wherein the article is a printed substrate.
13. The system (100) as claimed in clam 11, wherein the stopper (206) is made of aluminium.
