Abstract: The present invention relates to a two-wheeled vehicle (1) comprising a front body portion (F) and a rear body portion (R). A foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being detachably secured to at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) through at least one mounting portion (101); and wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) includes a first folded position and a second expanded position; and wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being configured to store items when in said second expanded position.

DESC:TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present subject matter relates to a saddle type vehicle. More particularly, the present subject matter relates to a storage bag for the motorcycle type vehicle.
BACKGROUND
[0002] Motorcycle type two-wheeled vehicles are one of the most affordable forms of motorized transport and for most of the world’s population they are the most common type of motor vehicle. When transporting small or lightweight objects on a motorcycle type motorcycle type vehicle, it is necessary to have a secured storage container so as not to lose or damage items. Generally, a motorcycle storage container for personal items, tools, gear, and the like, are widely used in the motorcycle industry, all of which provide storage, safety, convenience or security.
[0003] Conventionally, a motorcycle type vehicle includes a side box provided on a rear lateral side of the vehicle. The side box which is made of a durable material, such as metal, that can withstand rough handling. Generally, the side box includes a lid closable and openable to the outside of the vehicle. The lid fits to the top of the container and is connected to the container body with bolts and slide-hinges on the ends of the container body.
[0004] A known arrangement for a side box on the motorcycle type vehicle, describes a storage case for a motorcycle which can be fixed on a carrier strip and which comprises a basic housing and a lid pivotally connected to the basic housing, and a constructional unit. A lock is installed into the storage case for the fixing of the basic housing on the vehicle frame.
[0005] In an existing motorcycle type vehicle, the side box in the form of a separate storage bag is being made of a rigid resin material and is attached in a left side or right side of a vehicle rear body portion through one or more bracket structure made of a steel material.
[0006] However, all of the above known provisions of the storage container in the form of side box or side box provided on the lateral side of the motorcycle type vehicle for storage of the small items like tools, gear boxes, has resulted in various disadvantages. Further, in the conventional mounting of the side box on the motorcycle type vehicle, one or more brackets are fixed to said at least a portion of the vehicle rear body portion and adapted to receive one or more fasteners for mounting said side box to the vehicle. Thus, increasing the number of components and parts on the vehicle and hence further increasing the assembling time. Furthermore, the conventional side boxes are made up of the rigid resin material and said one or more brackets are made up of steel material, hence providing a fixed and rigid structure to the storage case on the vehicle and thus increasing the overall weight of the vehicle, the high cost and additionally resulting in uncomfortable riding experience for a person sitting on a pillion seat of the vehicle seat assembly.
[0007] Hence, it is desirable to provide a storage bag in the form of the side box for the motorcycle type of vehicle which can be mounted in a simple manner with a precise fit and requires less assembling time. Additionally, it is needed to provide the storage bag for the motorcycle type vehicle, which is easy to mount on the vehicle, requires less number of parts and components and hence is cost effective.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[00024] When transporting small or lightweight objects on a motorcycle type vehicle, it is necessary to have a secured storage container so as not to lose or damage items. For example, various forms of motorcycle storage accessories are provided on the motorcycle type vehicle for safety and security of its contents. Typically, a fixed-form and/or hard-case storage containers made up of a rigid resin material are available for attachment to a rear body portion of the motorcycle type vehicle.
[00025] In a known motorcycle type vehicle, a storage case for a motorcycle comprises a basic housing and a lid pivotally connected to the basic housing. A lock is installed into the storage container which provides the fixing of the basic housing on the vehicle.
[00026] Typically, a side box in the form of a storage case is removably attached to a lateral side of the motorcycle type vehicle to prevent natural elements, such as water, wind, or dust, from damaging the objects inside the storage container.
[00027] In another known motorcycle type vehicle, the side box describes a portable case for belongings which consists of a case body of leather and a cover lid of metal to protect the belongings within the case body. The case body and protective lid are hinged together and are disengageable from each other at the hinge so that both case body itself and cover lid can be replaced with new ones.
[00028] Generally, the existing side box arrangement in the motorcycle type vehicle describes the side box being detachably secured to the vehicle through one or more mounting bracket. Hence, increasing the number of parts and components and the assembling time of mounting the side box on the vehicle. Further, the side box is made up of the fixed resin material and said one or more mounting bracket being fixedly attached to said at least a portion of rear body portion of the vehicle is made up of steel material. Thus, increasing the cost, overall weight of the vehicle and further increases wind resistance and fuel consumption of the vehicle while the motorcycle is in operation. Additionally, the mounting of the conventional side box on the lateral side in the rear body portion of the vehicle inherently affects the safe operation of the motorcycle by resulting in uneven distribution of the vehicle weight above a front wheel due to the contents of the side box, and hence further results in unsafe turning, braking of the motorcycle and uncomfortable riding experience for the person sitting on the pillion seat.
[00029] Hence, it is desirable to provide a storage bag in the form of a storage bag for the vehicle which is easy to mount on the vehicle, involves less number of parts and components and thus requires less assembling time and additionally is cost effective. Further, it is needed to provide the storage container made up of a flexible material and thus doesnot increase the weight of the vehicle.
[00030] With the above objectives in view, the present invention provides a storage bag made up of a flexible resin material and which case be easily mounted on at least a rear body portion of the motorcycle type vehicle. The present invention relates generally to the field of the storage bag for the motorcycle type vehicle, and particularly towards a compact, foldably expandable storage bag.
[00031] As per first and second embodiment of the present invention, the motorcycle type motorcycle type vehicle comprises a front body portion and a rear body portion. In first and second embodiment, said motorcycle type vehicle further comprises an foldably expandable storage bag including a first folded position and a second expanded position. According to first and second embodiment of the present invention, said foldably expandable storage bag is being detachably secured to at least a portion of the rear body portion of the vehicle through at least one mounting portion. In first and second embodiment, said foldably expandable storage bag is being configured to store items when in said second expanded position. According to first and second embodiment of the present invention, the storage bag in the form of the side box is disposed on said at least a portion of the rear body portion of the motorcycle type vehicle and is configured to store articles. In first and second embodiment, the storage bag is located in the lateral side of the vehicle in the vehicle rear body portion. In first and second embodiment, the storage bag includes storage portion capable of storing articles therein.
[00032] In accordance with the present invention, the first embodiment describes the foldably expandable storage bag being stored below a seat assembly of the vehicle when in the first folded position that is, when the user of the vehicle doesnot need the storage bag. In the first embodiment, when the user of the vehicle requires the storage bag for storing articles, then the foldably expandable storage bag opens and expands in said second expanded position thus defining the storage space for the user of the vehicle to store the articles therein. The second embodiment of the present invention, describes the foldably expandable storage bag being stored in a zipper arrangement when in the second folded position. Hence, when the user of the vehicle requires to store the articles, the foldably expandable storage bag open and expands by accessing the zipper arrangement. As per first and second embodiment of the present invention, the foldable expandable storage bag includes at least one mounting portion configured to detachably secure the foldably expandable bag to the vehicle and at least one storage portion defining a storage space formed to store articles. According to first and second embodiment, the foldably expandable storage bag is provided with a cover member being secured to said at least one storage portion through at least one button mechanism. As per first and second embodiment, said cover member provides selective placement and covering over opening of the storage space defined by said at least one storage portion in order to prevent unauthorized access.
[00033] The present invention relates to the side box in the form of the storage bag located on the lateral side of the vehicle in the vehicle rear body portion. As per first and second embodiment of the present invention, the storage bag of the motorcycle type vehicle includes said cover member in the form of an openable lid portions. In one embodiment, the foldably expandable storage bag when in said second expanded position is opened or closed in a box-like condition. As per first and second embodiment of the present invention, the frame assembly for the motorcycle type vehicle extends along a vehicle longitudinal direction. In one embodiment, the frame assembly comprises a front frame portion extending rearward from a head pipe and a rear frame portion extending rearward from a rear end of the front frame portion and said rear frame portion including a pair of right and left seat rails for supporting the seat assembly including a driver and pillion seat. In first embodiment, said foldably expandable storage bag is stored below the seat assembly through at least one mounting bracket being fixedly attached to at least a portion of said pair of left and right seat rails.
[00034] In accordance with first embodiment of the present invention, said foldably expandable storage bag in the first folded position is stored below the seat assembly of the vehicle. As per second embodiment of the present invention, said foldably expandable storage bag in the first folded position is stored in the zipper arrangement provided on said at least a portion of said seat assembly. In the second embodiment, said zipper arrangement is adapted to be selectively closed or opened to retract or expand the foldably expandable storage bag from the first folded position into the second expanded position in order to define said at least one storage portion for storing articles.
[00035] The present invention describes the foldably expandable storage bag which can be easily mounted on the vehicle when required to store items and thereby allowing the driver to store the foldably expandable storage in said at least some portion of the rear body portion of the vehicle when not in use and additionally providing the riding comfort to the rider on the pillion seat of the vehicle while the vehicle is operating.
[00036] The present invention relates to the foldably expandable storage bag is being detachably secured to said at least a portion of the rear body portion of the vehicle through at least one mounting portion in such a manner that said at least a portion of the foldably expandable storage bag including said at least one storage portion is located on the lateral side of the vehicle in the vehicle rear body portion.
[00037] The invention relates to the storage bag and, more specifically, to the foldably expandable storage bag mounted on the motorcycle type vehicle. As per first and second embodiment of the present invention, the storage bag is selectively expandable and foldable depending on the user's needs. Further, as per one embodiment of the present invention, said the foldably expandable storage bag arranged to the lateral side of the vehicle in the vehicle rear body portion acts as a sari guard being arranged at least partly to a side of the rear wheel. Thus, preventing clothing including a sari from becoming entangled in the rear wheel of the vehicle.
[00038] It is advantageous to provide the foldably expandable storage bag made up of the flexible resin material detachably secured on the vehicle thus enabling the vehicle to store the storage bag in said at least a rear body portion of the vehicle when the foldably expandable storage bag is not required by the user of the vehicle to store articles and additionally, provides comfortable riding experience for the rider seated on the pillion seat of the vehicle. As per first embodiment, the foldably expandable storage bag when in first folded condition can be stored in said seat assembly and in second embodiment of the present invention, the foldably expandable storage bag when in first folded condition can be stored in said zipper arrangement provided on said at least a portion of the seat assembly on the vehicle. Hence, the foldably expandable storage bag as per the present invention, provides a simple, effective and yet highly advantageous manner to mount said foldably expandable storage bag on the vehicle.

In the drawings, like reference numbers generally indicate identical, functionally similar, and/or structurally similar elements. [00040] It is to be noted that in the ensuing description, the present invention is usable in a saddle type vehicle exemplified in the form of a two wheeled scooter type motorcycle for illustration.
[00041] Further “front” and “rear”, and “left” and “right” referred to in the ensuing description of the illustrated embodiment refer to front and rear, and left and right directions as seen in a state of being seated on a seat of the motorcycle type vehicle. Furthermore, a longitudinal axis refers to a front to rear axis relative to the vehicle, while a lateral axis refers to a side to side, or left to right axis relative to the vehicle. Also, it is to be understood that the phraseology and terminology used herein is for the purpose of description and should not be regarded as limiting.
[00042] Fig. 1 is a side view of the motorcycle type vehicle (1) (hereinafter ‘the vehicle’) illustrating the foldably expandable storage bag (100) detachably secured on said at least a portion of the rear body portion of the vehicle (1). According to first and second embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle the front body portion (F) and the rear body portion (R). In the front portion (F) of the vehicle (1), a steering shaft (not shown) is supported rotatably in a certain range. Further a handlebar (15) is rotatably integrally connected to the steering shaft for steering the vehicle (1) and is connected to a front wheel (2) through the steering shaft. A steering handle (not shown) is rotatably supported, independently of a front fork assembly (11), on a steering stem. An upper portion of the front wheel (2) is covered by a front fender (5) which prevents mud and water from getting deflected towards the steering shaft. The front wheel (2) is rotatably mounted on the front portion (F) thereof and a rear wheel (3) is rotatably mounted on a rear portion (R) thereof. A rear fender (4) is located above the rear wheel (3) so as to cover a portion of the outer periphery of the rear wheel (3) with its associated tire. The portion covered is selected to prevent water, mud and other unwanted material from being delivered from the wheel (3). Further, the front fork assembly (11) is mounted over the front fender (5). In a portion lying ahead of the front fork assembly (11), a lighting device such as a headlamp (12), a pair of signaling devices such as turn signal lamps (not shown), a display device such as a speedometer (not shown) are housed by a holding structure (not shown) mounted thereto. An adjustable windscreen (13) is mounted to the front of the vehicle (1). A pair of rear view mirror (14) comprises a casing, the casing having a front mirror for reflecting the image of traffic approaching from behind. A two legged stand (7) is used to support and hold the vehicle (1). The stand (7) moves on a pivot (not shown) to take up two positions, one folded up and the other on the ground.
[00043] Further in Fig.1, in the front portion (F) of the vehicle (1), the fuel tank (10) is disposed over an internal combustion engine (6). A seat assembly (10) is disposed immediately behind the fuel tank (10). A pillion handle (9) is disposed rearwardly of the seat assembly. Suspension systems are provided for comfortable steering of the vehicle (1) on the road. The front fork assembly (11) forms the front suspension system and serves as a rigidity component. Further, a rear suspension system, which is a hydraulic damped arrangement, includes a spring-shock absorber unit (16) at the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1). Further, the engine (6) is equipped with an exhaust system that includes an exhaust pipe (not shown) connected to the engine (6) and a muffler (not shown) connected to the exhaust pipe. The muffler (not shown) extends rearwards along the right side of the rear wheel (3). Referring to the first embodiment of the present invention, the vehicle further comprises the foldably expandable storage bag (100) including a first folded position and a second expanded position. The foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being detachably secured to said at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) through said at least one mounting portion (101) and is configured to store items when in said second expanded position.
[00044] Fig.2 is a perspective view of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) illustrating said foldably expandable storage bag (100) as per first embodiment of the present invention. In first embodiment, the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) includes the pillion handle (9) (as shown in Fig.1) being disposed rearwardly of the seat assembly (8). As per first embodiment of the present invention, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is detachably secured to said at least some portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) through said at least one mounting portion (101).In first embodiment of the present invention, said at least one mounting portion (101) is configured to detachably secure said foldably expandable storage bag (100) to the rear body portion of the vehicle in the manner such that at least a portion of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) is located on the lateral side of the vehicle (1) in the vehicle rear body portion (R).
[00045] Fig.3 is an exploded perspective view of the rear body portion (R) illustrating the mounting of said foldably expandable storage bag (100) on said at least a portion of said rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) as per first embodiment of the present invention. In first embodiment, a frame assembly (200) of the vehicle (1) comprises a front frame portion including a main frame (201) extending rearward from a head pipe (not shown) and a rear frame portion extending rearward from a rear end of the front frame portion and said rear frame portion includes a pair of right and left seat rails (202L), (202R) for supporting the seat assembly (8). As per first embodiment of the present invention, the foldably expandable storage bag (100) includes the first folded position and the second expanded position. In first embodiment, the foldably expandable storage bag (100) comprises said at least one mounting portion (101) and at least one storage portion (102). In said first embodiment, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being detachably secured to said at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) through at least one mounting portion (101). As per first embodiment, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being is configured to store items when in said second expanded position.
[00046] Further in Fig.3, according to the first embodiment, said at least one mounting bracket (203) (shown in Fig.4) is being fixedly attached to at least a portion of said pair of left and right seat rails (202L), (202R). In first embodiment, the foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being detachably secured to said at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) through said at least one mounting portion (101) in such a manner that said at least a portion of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) including said at least one storage portion (102) is located on the lateral side of the vehicle in the vehicle rear body portion (R). As per first embodiment of the present invention, said at least one storage portion (102) comprises a storage member (102a) and a cover member (102b). In first embodiment, one side of said cover member (102b) is fixedly attached to said storage member (102a) for opening and closing movement.
[00047] Fig.4 is a plan enlarged perspective view of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) illustrating the mounting of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) on said at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) as per first embodiment of the present invention. In first embodiment, said at least one mounting bracket (203) is fixedly attached to said at least a portion of said one of the pair of left and right seat rails (202L), (202R). As per first embodiment, the foldably expandable storage bag (100) comprises said at least one mounting portion (101) and said at least one storage portion (102).In first embodiment, said at least one mounting portion (101) of said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is configured to include at least one mounting hole (104) adapted to receive at least one fastener (105) for detachably securing said foldably expandable storage bag (100) to said at least a portion of one of the pair of left and right seat rails (202L), (202R) of the vehicle frame assembly (200) through said at least one mounting bracket (203) fixedly attached to said at least a portion of one of the pair of left and right seat rails (202L), (202R) in a manner that said at least a portion of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) including said at least one storage portion (102) is located on the lateral side of the vehicle (1) in the vehicle rear body portion (R).
[00048] Fig.5 is a perspective view of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) illustrating said foldably expandable storage bag (100) being detachably secured to said at least a portion of the rear body portion (R). In first embodiment of the present invention, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is detachably secured to said at least a portion of said one of the pair of left and right seat rails (202L), (202R) of the vehicle frame assembly (200). In first embodiment of the present invention, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) comprises said at said at least one mounting portion (101) and said at least one storage portion (102). According to first embodiment, said at least one mounting portion (101) of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) is configured to mount said foldably expandable storage bag (100) to the vehicle frame assembly (200) through said at least one mounting bracket (203) (shown in Fig.5) being fixedly attached to said least a portion of said one of the pair of left and right seat rails (202L), (202R). In first embodiment of the present invention, said at least one storage portion (102) of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) comprises the storage member (102a) and the cover member (102b). Further, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) being configured to store items when in said second expanded position; and wherein at least one joint (100c) of the expandable storage bag being disposed substantially on one of the lateral sides of the pillion seat and substantially behind the rider seating area. In first embodiment, said one side of said cover member (102b) is fixedly attached to said storage member (102a) for opening and closing movement. Further, as per first embodiment of the present invention, the foldably expandable storage bag (100) includes the first folded position and the second expanded position. As per first embodiment, said at least one storage portion (102) of said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being configured to store items in when in said second expanded position.
[00049] Fig. 6 is a perspective view of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) for the vehicle (1) as per first and second embodiment of the present invention. In first and second embodiment, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) includes the first folded position and the second expanded position. As per one embodiment, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) comprises said at least one mounting portion (101) and said at least one storage portion (102). In first embodiment, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is being configured to store items when in said second expanded position. As per first embodiment, said at least one mounting portion (101) of said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is configured to include said at least one mounting hole (104) for detachably securing said foldably expandable storage bag (100) to said at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1). According to first and second embodiment of the present invention, said at least one storage portion (102) comprises the storage member (102a) and the cover member (102b). As per one embodiment, said one side of said cover member (102b) is fixedly attached to said storage member (102a) for opening and closing movement. Further in Fig.7, as per first embodiment of the present invention, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) includes at least one strap (106) made up of the flexible resin material for securing said at least a portion of the said foldably expandable storage bag (100) to said at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) when in the first folded position.
[00051] Fig.8 is a perspective view of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) illustrating the seat assembly (8) for the vehicle (1) being hingedly attached to to said at least a portion of the frame assembly (200) through at least one hinged bracket (400). As per first embodiment of the present invention, said at least one hinged bracket (400) comprises at least two arms including a first arm (400a) and a second arm (400b). Referring to first embodiment, at least a portion of the first arm (400a) of said at least two arms is being pivotally associated relative to said at least a portion of the second arm (400b) of said at least two arms. In first embodiment said at least two arms of said at least one hinged bracket (400) is configured for being movable between an opened position and a closed position of the seat assembly (8). As per first embodiment of the present invention, the frame assembly (200) of the vehicle (1) comprises a front frame portion including the main frame (201) extending rearward from a head pipe (not shown) and a rear frame portion extending rearward from a rear end of the front frame portion and said rear frame. According to first embodiment, said at least one mounting portion (101) of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) is configured to mount said foldably expandable storage bag (100) to the vehicle frame assembly (200). In first embodiment, the pillion handle (9) is provided rear of the seat assembly (8). Further, as per one embodiment of the present invention, the foldably expandable storage bag (100) arranged to the lateral side of the vehicle in the vehicle rear body portion (R) acts as a sari guard being arranged at least partly to a side of the rear wheel (3). Thus, preventing clothing becoming entangled in the rear wheel (3). As per first embodiment of the present invention, the said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is made up of the flexible resin material and hence when not containing any articles can act as the sari guard when in said second expanded portion and thus prevents the sari from becoming soiled.

As per second embodiment of the present invention, the zipper arrangement (300) is provided on said at least a portion of the seat assembly (8) of the vehicle (1) to store the foldably expandable storage bag (100) when in first folded condition such that the rider on the pillion seat of the seat assembly (8) for the vehicle (1) experiences comfort riding when the vehicle is operating. Thus, the zipper arrangement (300) provides the provision for the storage of the foldably expandable storage bag (100) on the vehicle (1) when the user of the vehicle (1) doesnot requires the foldably expandable storage bag (100) to store items. Further in Fig.10, said foldably expandable storage bag (100) opens and expands from the zipper arrangement (300) into said second expanded position to define said at least one storage portion (102) when the user of the vehicle requires to store items in said foldably expandable storage bag (100). In another embodiment, the zipper may be a velcro type joint.

[00059] Advantageously, as per first and second embodiment of the present invention describes the foldably expandable storage bag achieving the purpose of the side box in the motorcycle type vehicle. In first and second embodiment of the present invention, said the foldably expandable storage bag is made up of the flexible resin material and configured to be stored in the vehicle when in the first folded position and store articles when in the second expanded position. Hence, the provision of the foldably expandable storage bag as per first and second embodiment of the vehicle provides enables the user of the vehicle to open and expand the foldably storage bag when required to store articles and folds and store the foldably storage bag when not required to store articles. Hence, the foldably storage bag when in first folded position, provides riding comfort to the person seated on the pillion seat of the seat assembly for the vehicle.

,CLAIMS:We claim:
1. A two-wheeled vehicle (1), said vehicle (1) comprising:
a front body portion (F) and a rear body portion (R); and
wherein a foldably expandable storage bag (100) being detachably secured to at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) through at least one mounting portion (101); and wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) includes a first folded position and a second expanded position; and wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) being configured to store items when in said second expanded position.
2. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) comprising at least one storage portion (102) and said at least one mounting portion (101).
3. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is stored below a seat assembly (8) and in a zipper arrangement (300) provided on at least a portion of said seat assembly (8) when in first folded position.
4. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said vehicle (1) comprising:
a front frame portion extending rearward from a head pipe; and a rear frame portion extending rearward from a rear end of the front frame portion;
said rear frame portion including a pair of right and left seat rails (202L), (202R) for supporting the seat assembly (8); and wherein
said foldably expandable storage bag (100) is stored below the seat assembly (8) through at least one mounting bracket (203) being fixedly attached to at least a portion of said pair of left and right seat rails (202L), (202R).
5. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claimed in claim1, wherein said zipper arrangement (300) is adapted to be selectively close or open to retract or expand the expandable, foldable storage bag from the first folded position into the second expanded position to define said at least one storage portion (102).
6. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claimed in claim 1, wherein said at least one storage portion (102) comprising a storage member (102a) and a cover member (102b).
7. A two-wheeled vehicle (1), said vehicle (1) comprising:
a front body portion (F) and a rear body portion (R); and
wherein a foldably expandable storage bag (100) being detachably secured to at least a portion of the rear body portion (R) of the vehicle (1) through at least one mounting portion (101); and wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) includes a first folded position and a second expanded position; and wherein said foldably expandable storage bag (100) being configured to store items when in said second expanded position; and wherein at least one joint (100c) of the expandable storage bag being disposed substantially on one of the lateral sides of the pillion seat and substantially behind the rider seating area.
8. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claimed in claim1, wherein said opening and closing movement involves at least one button mechanism (104) provided on at least a portion of said storage portion (102a) and the cover member (102b).
9. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claims in claim 1, wherein said cover member (102c) includes at least one button receiving hole adapted to detachably secure said cover member (102b) to the storage member (102a).
10. The two-wheeled vehicle (1) as claims in claim 1, wherein said storage bag (100) is made up of resin material.
