FIELD OF INVENTION
[0001] The present invention generally relates to a rear storage unit for a two wheeled vehicle and more particularly to split type storage units mounted on the rear side of the said vehicle.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0002] In conventional two wheeled vehicles, especially in step through two wheelers having a single big utility box does not give an option to distribute the cargo load with respect to center of gravity (CG) balance. Imbalance in CG creates problem regarding poor vehicle stability.
[0003] Further, in some step through vehicles some functional components like fuel tank, oil pump etc. are mounted on rear side of the vehicle i.e. behind the storage unit. This mounted arrangement leads to reduction in utility space for the rider(s):
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0004] Main bbjective of present invention is to provide múltiple rear storage units mounted below the seat assembly along the length of the vehicle such that a predefined space is formed between said storage units. Said storage units define a primary storage unit and a secondary storage unit such that primary storage unit is mounted on front end of the rear frame member and the secondary storage unit is mounted on the rear end of the rear frame member. Said secondary storage unit extends beyond the rear end of the rear frame member.

[0005] The rear frame member has a left rear frame member and a right rear frame member connected together through a connecting bridge. Said secondary storage unit is fixed with the connecting bridge and extends behind it as well as partially covers it.
[0006] Another objective of this invention is to provide a functional element accommodated in said predefined space. This functional element can be any element of the vehicle mounted below the rear frame member.
[0007] Said split type storage unit under the rider seat such that front storage unit is closer to the vehicle CG (centre of gravity) and is designed to carry more loads' (space) & the rear box is farther henee designed to carry low loads (less space). This arrangement improves the stability of the vehicle. Further, in cases where the seat is split type in two wheelers both storage unit can be accesses separately increases ease of use for the rider(s).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0010] The embodiments disclosed below are not intended to be exhaustive or to limit the invention to the precise forms disclosed in the following detailed description. Rather, the embodiments are chosen and described so that best enabling arrangements of the invention can be explained through all possible embodiments and examples of it. The invention may have application to all kind bf two wheeled vehicles.
[0011] Referring to Figure 1 to Figure 3, a step through two wheeled vehicle (hereinafter 'vehicle') 100 is shown. The frame makes the base of the vehicle and supports all the embodiments of vehicle 100. Said frame in this vehicle 100 is defining a front frame member 103 and a rear frame member 104 fixed together towards the centre of the vehicle 100. A floor board 105 is fixed in proximity of joint J of front frame member 103 and rear frame member 104 and extends forward from said joint J. Said front frame member 103 supports a handle bar assembly 101 and a front wheel 102 on its front end such that the handle bar assembly 101 is connected with the front wheel 102 through a front suspensión system.
[0012] Further, the rear end of the rear frame member 104 is supporting a rear wheel 110 that is coupled with the engine (not shown in figures) of the vehicle 100 through a transmission assembly (not shown in figures) for traction of thé vehicle 100. Said rear frame member 104 has a left rear frame member L and a right rear frame member R. These left L and right R frame members are connected together through a connecting bridge 113. Over said rear frame member 104, a seat 112 is mounted for rider. One or more storage boxes 106,109 are fixed for utility carriage under said seat 112 and within the vehicle frame and one or more load deportment units 107 are provided in the rear side of the vehicle. [0013] Said load deportment unit 107 are not necessarily to be covered with the seat 112 of the vehicle 100. In these types of vehicles seat 112 can be divided into two parts, defining a rider seat 112 and a pillion seat 111. The rider seat 112 covers the primary storage box 106 and pillion seat 111. covers the load deportment unit 107 and/or secondary storage unit 109.
[0014] Further again referring to Figure 1 to Figure 4, two storage units are mounted below seat assembly 112, 111 along the length of the vehicle. These storage units can be defined as a primary storage unit 106 and a secondary storage unit 109. The primary storage unit 106 is mounted on front end of the rear frame member 104 and the secondary storage unit 109 is mounted on the rear end of the rear frame member 104. Said secondary storage unit 109 is fixed with the connecting bridge 113 at minimum one mounting location 114.
[0015] A predefined space S is formed between said primary 106 and secondary storage units 109. This secondary storage unit 109 extends beyond the rear end of the rear frame member 104. Any functional element 108 like fuel tank, oil pump, ABS unit etc. are can be accommodated in said predefined space S.
[0016] Mentioned functional unit 108 is mounted such that its front is fixed with the primary storage unit 106 at minimum one mounting location 116. Rear end of the functional unit 108 is fixed with the secondary storage unit 106 or with the connecting bridge 113 as per the manufacturing requirement of the vehicle at one or more locations 115.
[0017] In addition to the fuel tank, oil pump, ABS unit etc. mentioned functional element 108 can be any element mounted below the rear frame member 104 as per the space and manufacturing requirement of the vehicle 100.

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS
1) A two wheeled vehicle, comprising: a frame defining a frpnt frame member and rear frame member such that the rear frame member is supporting a load deportment unit mounted behind atléast a seat assembly; whérein a plurality of storage units are mounted below said seat assembly; and wherein the plurality of storage units are mounted along the length of the vehicle such that a predefined space is formed between plurality of storage units.
2) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the plurality of storage units is defining a primary storage unit and a secondary storage unit such that primary storage unit is mounted on front erid of the rear frame member and the secondary storage unit is mounted on the rear end of the rear frame member.
3) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 2, wherein the secondary storage unit extends beyond the rear end of the rear frame member.
4) The two.wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 1, the rear frame member defines a left rear frame member and a right rear frame member connected together through a connecting bridge wherein the secondary storage unit is fixed with said connecting bridge.
5) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 1, wherein the predefined space is configured to accommodate a functional element such that front end of said functional element is fixed with the primary storage unit and rear end of the functional element is fixed with the secondary storage unit.
6) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 5, wherein the functional element is fixed with the secondary storage unit through the connecting bridge.

7) The two wheeled vehicle, as claimed in claim 5 and claim 6, wherein the functional element defines a set of functional elements mouhted below the rear frame member.
