Structural Integration Of Battery Cells In Electric Vehicles

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to structural integration of battery cells in electric vehicles. The system (100) includes a solar PV panel (104) and a battery element integrated panel (106). The solar PV panel (104) is configured to connect with the roof of an electric vehicle. The battery element integrated panel (106) is a body of an electric vehicle and it includes a frame (202), battery elements (204), and bus bars (206A & 206B). The frame (202) is an outer part of the battery element integrated panel (106) and it includes panel connectors (302A & 302B), edge connectors (304), and a battery element accommodation groove (306). The battery elements (204) include a positive terminal (404), a negative terminal (406), and battery element connectors (402A & 402B). The battery element connectors (402A & 402B) are configured to connect with other battery elements (204). The system provides structural integration of battery elements in electric vehicles. It saves the space requirement for the battery energy storage system, eliminates the vehicle body material cost, reduces the overall weight and enhances the performance of the vehicle.

, Claims:I/We Claim:

1. Structural integration of battery cells in electric vehicles (100), wherein the system (100) comprises:
A solar PV panel (104) configured to connect with the roof of an electric vehicle; and
a battery element integrated panel (106) configured to attach as the body of an electric vehicle;
characterized in that,
the battery element integrated panel (106) designed to provide an electricity storage option in the vehicle body itself.
2. The system (100) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the battery element integrated panel (106) further comprises
a frame (202);
battery elements (204) that store the electrical energy;
bus bars (206A & 206 B);
3. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the frame (202) an outer part of the battery element integrated panel (106) and further comprises
panel connectors (302A &302B) configured to connect to another battery element integrated panel (106);
edge connectors (304) configured to change the angle of the battery element integrated panel (106); and
a battery element accommodation groove (306) configured to accommodate the battery element.
4. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the battery elements (204) an electrical energy storage elements configured to accommodate in the battery element integrated panel (106).
5. The battery elements (204) as claimed in claim 4, wherein the battery elements (204) comprises
a positive terminal (404);
a negative terminal (406); and
battery elements connectors (402 A & 402 B) configured to connect with other battery elements (204) comprise male connectors (402A) and female connectors (402B).
6. The system (100) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the bus bars (206A & 206 B) connect the battery elements (204) either series or parallel to get the required power.
