I/We Claim:
1. A suction unit comprising:
a filter formed like a plate;
a heat transfer plate arranged opposite to a portion of the filter;
a heater that heats a portion of the filter via the heat transfer plate by heating the heat transfer plate;
a drive unit that moves the filter with respect to the heat transfer plate; and
a case covering the heat transfer plate, wherein
an internal space of the case includes a first space portion in which the heater is arranged and a second space portion in which the heater is not arranged.
2. The suction unit according to claim 1, wherein
the second space portion is provided next to the first space portion in a moving direction of the filter.
3. The suction unit according to claim 1 or 2, wherein
the second space portion is arranged between the first space portion and an outside of the case.
4. The suction unit according any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein
the second space portion is formed along an outer circumference of the case.
5. The suction unit according any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein
the case includes a partition wall that partitions the first space portion and the second space portion.
6. The suction unit according to claim 5, wherein

the case includes an outer circumferential wall formed along the outer circumference of the case and
the second space portion is formed of the partition wall and the outer circumferential wall.
7. The suction unit according to claim 5 or 6, wherein
the heat transfer plate is arranged in the first space portion and
the first space portion has a gap between an outer circumferential portion of the heat transfer plate and the partition wall.
8. The suction unit according any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein
the second space portion includes a preheating space portion that warms the filter provided on an entry side where the filter enters the first space portion.
9. The suction unit according to claim 8, wherein
the drive unit intermittently drives the filter such that at least a portion of a region of the filter stopped inside the preheating space portion is stopped inside the first space portion.
10. The suction unit according any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein
the second space portion includes a heat retaining space portion that keeps warm the filter provided on an exit side where the filter exits the first space portion.
11. The suction unit according to claim 10, wherein
the drive unit intermittently drives the filter such that at least a portion of the region of the filter stopped inside the first space portion is stopped inside the heat retaining space portion.

12. An air cleaner comprising:
the suction unit according to any one of claims 1 to 11, wherein
the filter sucks odorous components contained in an air by the air being passed
therethrough and decomposes the odorous components by being heated.
